SPORT CHEK

I ordered black Friday deals and only 3 of the 4 items I ordered were in the proper packaging. 3 were wrapped individually and the forth item was just throw in the parcel bag next to the individually wrapped packages.

VERY POOR SERVICE! I took my elderly friend to Sport Chek to buy a pair of shoes… we had to leave because we weren’t getting the help we needed! Unbelievable!

At first, it was difficult to find anyone working, and tills were only open on one side of the store. The whole experience at first was looking extremely poor, and I nearly just left until I spoke with Greg. That man turned a bad experience into the best shopping experience I have had in a long time. I hope that he is being paid well, or else he needs a raise/promotion. Went well above and beyond and seriously provided the best service I have seen in a long time! If he wasn't there, this review would be very different.

My friend and I were visiting this store intending to find a product and there was an employee who was extremely rude to us I believe his name was Robby or Robin. On their website it said that they had 3 left in stock but when we arrived Robby or Robin said there were none left. So we went and asked another employee who was much more polite than Robby. The other employee used the walkie talkie and asked if there were any left and through the walkie talkie he said word for word "If its the same two guys again I already told them we don't have any left in stock" said Robby in a horribly rude aggressive manner. The other employee checked the back and found our product thankfully. But Robby was very impolite.

Stock levels are completely inaccurate. My online order for in-store pickup was cancelled despite the website saying they had 3 units available. Don't waste your time.

Chloe helped me with my purchase of new shoes. She was delightful. Very helpful and didn't have any issues going back and forth finding me sizes. She was also the only one staffed for that time in the department and she kept on going and helping customers. She is by all means the reason I gave a full five stars. With her great attitude she will succeed in life.

Store is well organized, staff is attentive and friendly. I would recommend the relaxed atmosphere.

Sport Chek is an awesome store with so many different items. They sell quality products but it's worth every cent. I totally recommend Sport Chek to anyone wanting or needing quality merchandise.

I went shopping here today and was completely lost on exactly what I wanted. The associate keana in clothing did a phenomenal job helping me and took the extra time to hear what I wanted and helped me till I was completely satisfied. In shoes an associate Karter was extremely helpful, kind and funny, he helped me find the size I wanted in a particular sandal that I just couldn't find myself. Great team it's refreshing to see young workers with such amazing work ethics. Will gladly return and recommend this store.

There jackets are warm. A wide variety
Runners, track pants, etc.

I can not say enough about the customer service I received at the Kingsway SportChek. The fact that I was there within a half hour of closing didn't make a difference. I was buying some winter wear for 2 young men who arrived in Edmonton in order to be safe from the war Russia has started with the Ukraine. Two staff in particular were very helpful, working extra hard to find sizes and the best prices possible. Keana who works in the clothing section and Mackenna who also offered assistance with the search. Without their expertise I would have been floundering, at the very least, and definatley would not have gotten such great prices. Kudos to young staff with such work integrity, who so pleasantly provided such thorough service at the end of of a long and busy day.

I'm not not sure why the blue jays jerseys are put away just as Christmas shopping has begun

I have been very impressed with the Management team here! Bill has been exceptionally helpful, as has the female Manager and the female who trains new Cashiers.

The footwear associate who helped me was fantastic! (I didn't catch his name.tall, thin and exceptionally knowledgable about ankles, knees and hips). I mentioned I had back issues.he provided an abundance of information regarding the benefits of good insoles. Thank you sir!

I don't know why the word "sport" is in the name. There are far more everyday clothes than any sort of sports equipment.

This store has a lot of products to keep you active. There are equipment for all sports: hockey, soccer, basketball, football, etc.
All the sections are well organized and time to time they have good sales. Once I bought a jacket with 70% off.
They are together with Canadian Tire and you can redeem points with the Triangle Card, which is pretty convenient.

We had very friendly service from Dillon, very helpful young man. The only complaint was the shoes we were looking for were not in stock.

Can you say mind blown this man knew what he was talking about and stunned me with information. Thank you Bill for the help finding the right pair of shoes.

Nojan made shopping for skies a wonderful experience. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel valued as a customer. Great job Kingsway sportchek!

A typical Sport Chek that is overrun by millennials working there who don't know their head from their rear ends. Think of the clueless teenage worker on the Simpsons and that sums up the type of kids that run this store.

Zero help on the phone at all. Was transfered 3 times on the phone to the service department and was on hold for an hour before giving up and hanging up every time. Tried to stop them from transferring me but they did anyways.

Employee was very nice and helpful, however the store was small and cluttered and didn't have everything I was looking for.

I looked all over the city for the shoes I wanted and I was told at other stores DC doesn't make 1/2 sizes but I found them at sport chek and the young man that was helping me knew his stuff and was fast good store, great help.

Best Sport-check consistent in their supply.
Always came here for all sorry of good quality products

iE. Wilson basketballs, soccer balls official size, soccer cleats, shin pads, braces, grip strengthener, roller blades etc.literally has everything for sports.
Probably bought a bunch more.
The shoes selection is fresh too and sport brands like adidas, Nike, under armour, puma, Jordan’s, Reebok etc. I grab lots from here and other ones.

The facility is clean and always organized.
With it in ‘stock ‘.

Friendly employees as well with good direction and suggestions.

Shout out to Brandon haha this man came and asked me twice if I needed help when he seen me finally at the sandals. Offered a new Jordan in the back that he can bring out. Solid employee.

The Five starts are for the amazing customer service I got from Mlanden (not sure if I spelled that right). He went above and beyond what he had to in his job role, and was exteremly friendly and professional. This store is unbelievably luck to have an employee that is so willing to help customers with a smile and great attitude.

5/5 would recommend. The store manager Reuben was friendly and personable and the representative Sabrina was also quite pleasant to deal with. Overall they were both super professional, patient and knowledgeable! I never felt rushed or pressured throughout my almost hour long interaction with them.

Very disappointed with this establishment. Today I went to return a pair of roller blades that I had only worn once inside of my house to see if they were a good fit for my feet. Turns out they were not so I figured "hey what is the harm in getting my money back? "
When I got to this establishment, the women at the till told me that I couldn't return them because I had worn them already. Needless to say my advice to anyone taking the time to read this review is to not buy sports gear from this establishment, because even if you only wear it once and you find it does not work for you, they will not give you your money back. This is most definitely the last time I will be purchasing from a Sports Chek.

Found a great bike for the price I was looking. I think the guy in the bike repair section was named Luke and he helped me tremendously. I also got my Asics running shoes on sale, as they usually are.

Your experienced sales staff was excellent and very knowledgeable. She was extremely friendly and what I felt gave 110%. Thank you Katie from 316.

Incredible selection of sports apparel anywhere.
Got exactly what I was looking for and normally it's difficult to find without having to order online.
Reasonable price as well. $10 less than other places for what I got.

Worst customer service I've ever seen at this sportcheck in kingsway mall. The young brown hair and brown skinned girl was incredibly rude and should be fired immediately. Veru unprofessional and bad at her job.

This store is a complete disaster. There are boxes and piles of stuff everywhere, the racks are so crammed in you can hardly walk around and not one person greeted or came to assist in any way. I won't shop here again

Drove to Kingsway to get my son a mini stick. The girls at the till said sorry thry are all boxed up and it was best to call before I came. Out of nowhere this hero Nojan offers to take a look. It wasn't busy and there was tons of staff so that was awesome to go above and beyond for us. We ended up buying 2. Thanks so much Nojan for offering to look. You made my sons day

We came into here just looking for skis which they didn't have what we were looking for. However the sale shelf had some excellent ski boots. The guy (name starts with a B, can't totally remember) helped me understand how the boot was going to fit and made sure I was well taken care of. Good location and friendly staff!

Fantastic customer service! The manager is super friendly and staff were knowledgeable and helpful. A great shopping experience which is rare these days. Good Job Kingsway Sport Chek Team
