Everything was available, got everything I needed from there. The place was very clean, organized. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend going here

Very good experience, asked for help and a sales representative was able to get me what I needed.

Always the only place I go for Tshirts, button up shirts and jackets. Being a tall guy they always have sizes that fit perfectly. And all athletic equipment needed is great. Today we dealt with Brook, who helped us with sizing and finding what my wife and I were looking for. She was very friendly and professional and had a knowledge of the Triangle rewards progam. 2 other groups of customers recognized her when they were at the till to pay and were happy to see her. Now that's amazing service!

In the past, I've had great experiences at the store. Today was not the case.

We went in to pick out a bike for our daughter, and immediately fell in love with one. The store model was broken, as the back wheel was seized and the brake cables were poking out strangely. We were assured that they would have the bike tuned up in 20 minutes, as that was the only model left at the store. We returned after 45 minutes and were told that they hadn't started yet. After two hours, we returned and were told that the bike was working perfectly fine. The back wheel was still seized and it looked to be in exactly the same state as we left it, however we were told that "is just the way it is" and that we could choose whether or not we bought the bike. No explanation, no offer to bring in a new one for later in the week; just a shrug and a "that's how it is". How disappointing for a little girl who was really quite excited to pick out her new bike today. Brutal customer service.

My family and I really like sport check, their services, the sales, the brands, we just like everything about the store.keep it up!

Went to purchase an item at check out but there was a line up. Decided to go another check out but it was closed. So went back to first check out. I mentioned it to cashier that they should have a sign mentioning that was the only checkout available. She didn't seem to care.

The point is one check out at front of store one at back. It was an inconvenience. Not good customer service!

I came into the store looking for a pair of shoes. Online, it said they were available in stock at the St Albert location. I go into the store and show the associate what I'm looking for. He dismisses me immediately that they don't have it. He didn't even check the back just in case. He then goes through his iPod to check his inventory and it takes him more than a few tries. He then goes to the back and says "you probably missed the shoes an hour ago. " Well if I did, wouldn't he have known about the shoes? I have my doubts and he was rushing to help another customer. Not much customer service if you ask me.

I would like to say worst customer service but it was non existent. When staff were called to help a customer they said they were too busy! Left the store and will buy at a different retailer.

Definitely recommend this store. If you need footwear, hunt down Brooke! We tried all the different options (which everyone offers) but Brooke went above and beyond. She gave me the lay of the land for shoes, the pros and cons, features they have. I didn't realise there was such variance in footwear. She didn't hover in any way but would check in and let me feel things out. I feel super confident with my choice and can't wait to explore Iceland!

Not to mention! I believe I caught her (a good hour) before her shift and she was still totally willing to help me. Super appreciative of that! Thank you Brooke!

New store, clean, however I feel Sport Chek could make an effort to have more variety of skateboard derivative products. Only 2 choices of helmets available for adult skateboarder. Minor detail, but that’s my sport.

Took back my online order quick and efficiently.
Also removed a tag sensor that was left on one of my online orders as well.

Big thanks to Tristan (technician) who got our skis, bindings and boots set up last minute for us.

I just want to give a shout out to the gentleman who works in shoes at the St. Albert location. He has helped my family purchase the perfect footwear for a while now. His knowledge in shoes is incredible and he is so considerate. He gets down to the nitty gritty and respects a persons budget and finds the perfect pair without the customer feeling forced into purchasing a more expensive pair. He asks all the right questions and since meeting this fella, we don’t buy out shoes anywhere else. He will bring out every pair they have in the back to find that perfect pair too. I have a family of 4 and we all have multiple pairs. Bought every one of them from this fella. Stellar employee and great service. Sports Chek St. Albert found a diamond in the rough for sure!

I’ll start off by saying that I don’t typically have a good experience in this store. But after my experience today, I just may come back. Sammy was an awesome person to deal with when purchasing shoes for my kids. She was knowledgeable, professional and offered her opinion on styles. My family very much enjoyed the interaction with her.

This review is for Lucas, he works at the St. Albert sport chek in the mall. He was a great help and went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. I spoke to him on the phone before I went in for a size of a pair of skates. He put them on for me, tied them up and the sharpener guy was busy and was done for the day so Lucas went out of his way to make sure I got what I needed. Overall great customer service and great atmosphere! Thank you so much Lucas! EXTREMELY HELPFUL:)

There were only 2 kids in there that wanted to help and didnt hide when they saw me coming. 5 people walked fast in the opposite direction.the 2 kids that did help me in men's shoes were excellent.and the lady in appeal was very good too and tried her best to find inventory that wasnt there or stocked.not impressed. I was going to drop $345.00 on gifts for family but just walked away discouraged and defeated.never again.and I hope the 3 people that did help me last night finds jobs somewhere else. I gave this place 1 star because of those that stepped forward to help me.not cuz of the store in St. Albert.

The best thing about this store is that the young staff is always and genuinely willing to help! Went to get my skates sharpened and I was helped by Lucas. Gave me exceptional service! Rest assured as long as retail has kids like Lucas serving customers, you don't have to fear Amazon!

Incredible service and very helpful staff, as always! Robert was great for getting my son geared up for football and really knew his stuff! The prices here are cheaper than anywhere else and the store is huge with everything my family needs for all our sports throughout the year so I don't have to run around the city looking for a bunch of bits and pieces.

Very clean. There are arrows on the ground. As of July 20th, 2020, only 3 items per person per day for fitting rooms.

Didn't know they closed at 7pm and was trying to navigate the store desperately finding shorts. Pretty much got kicked out 7pm sharp by some young worker.

Went in today to get a hockey stick warrantied but they didn't have the specific stick in stock so we had to order it online and have it shipped to my door. Checked my email and found out my address they submitted was wrong. No biggie, mistakes happen. Long story short the GM and staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient in sorting it out!

Asked for a shoe size so staff went into back room and didn’t come back. Waited 10 mins. When I flagged another staff down and said I had been waiting over 10 mins she told me she saw the other girl on the floor and I hadn’t been waiting that long. So not only did I not get served but then I was called a liar. Don’t go here. Will drive to Kingsway where they care about their customers

The staff at this location were extremely helpful. We found everything we wanted and the staff stayed after closing to help us. We were new for hockey fear and Brendon and Derek did a great job finding all the gear we needed. Thank you to Brendon, Derek, and the rest of the staff for helping us.

Sport Chek, they always have a great selection on Sauconys. Love this runner. Also has a wide selection in men's and women's clothing. Prices are pretty good

Friendly staff, would prefer if returns would not have to get in the same line as purchases, makes it take much longer than necessary

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, however, I believe there is some kind of staffing issue as I have just moved to St. Albert and have been there three times now; each time I have had ridiculous wait times at check-out. We are talking 15mins plus.

Went in to get shoes. My son was fitted by staff, but found out they didn't have the right size. They checked out other stores in area and told us which stores had the proper size. Employees helpful and very friendly. Thank You. Will visit again.

Eldon, the St Albert Manager went above my expectation when my sons winter cost zipper broke after only a few months. I live 50 min north of town and had to drive in to buy my son a new winter coat on the coldest night in Feb 2019. He understood my frustration that the coat didn’t last even a full winter. He was empathic and acknowledged my time is valuable. Thank you for allowing me to return the coat. I have told several people about my great experience. I see why you are the Manager Eldon! Owen was a great help in getting me a new pair of skates. Very knowledgeable on the products and didn't try to push anything that wasn't needed.
