As I was paying for my items the cashier Olivia (as said on my receipt) was just blatantly rude and unhelpful, wasn’t asked if i needed a bag, ripped off the tag damaging the package of the items i bought as Christmas gifts, we asked for a gift receipt and when we got home she gave us a a regular receipt. It was unprofessional and she made it seem like she didn’t care about anything. If you are consistently working with the public, you should be nicer to people especially during the holidays.

I wish i could give less than 1 star. The front desk girls Olivia and Elisa were not at all interested in customer service. Even when i asked about the manager so that i can have a word with him, the assistant manager refused that i cant meet him. Was about to buy 2 jackets worth 700$ but came without buying anything! Really disappointed!

I like the store at Manning because you may get like to purchase a item the is on sale with extra percentage of the price. Also it closer for me check it out once a week.

Bought a bike for my son this weekend. The staff was fantastic, the guy who helped pick the right bike was friendly and helpful and the tech that did the build/checks went above and beyond to make sure everything was working right.

Went in looking for bikes and although they didn't have stock for my size (I'm tall and fat so not their fault) I got some fantastic advice and service from Marco. 10/10 would recommend searching him out for knowledge and service.

This store and Manning store showed a bike available for sale on the website. Neither store actually had the bike available. What waste of my time. I doubt I'll ever shop a sport chek again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, appreciate the shoe guy go back and forth for my son's shoes. The only complaint I have is the bathroom definitely one of the dirtiest public restrooms I've seen. But nothing a good clean to get up to that 5 star rating.

Love this store by far always has a great selection, worst part is every time you go to check out the cashiers would rather be on there cell phones. Went and bought my daughter a backpack the girl at the cash register told me to hold on she had to finish sending a text! I seriously couldn’t believe what I was witnessing. I asked if a manager was there she told me no managers work after 5pm I definitely won’t be back for awhile as I seem to have the same issue every time we go.

Lots of options to choose from! Ladies working today were fantastic and very helpful. I would definitely be shopping at this Sport Check more frequently!

Might as well waste your hard earned money on gas to drive to the store! If you call to inquire about a product, they will put you on hold and never return to the call! Thumbs down to the girl at the front desk. Pure laziness working the tills.

Always like Sport Chek. Customer service was good, selection good. Trying hard to stay clean. Decent sales.

Went in to by some boots for snowshoeing. 3 sales people standing around chatting and nobody interested in helping. Not one person asked if they could help find something. This location has lost a sale and more importantly a customer.

A nice store with helpful staff that will do what they can to assist you and make your shopping experience a positive and enjoyable one.

Nice products, but several items' size were out of stock.
In all, it was an awesome experience.

The sales associate was helpful. I was disappointed with some of the customers lack of social distancing.

Most items are not stocked I'm assuming due to COVID19, but it makes for a worse shopping experience. Shop online instead.

As much as I love Sport Chek. This location always has such a small amount of variety and product I'm looking for. I'm sure others run into these issues too. Came in to get golf shoes. There are so many on the website. But only 4 in store with only one or two sizes. This seems to happen quite often. I wish there was more selection here. I'm sure it's based on location. But there's often a lack of variety. Other (bigger) locations tend to be better, which is unfortunate for this location.

I just bought a pair of MMA gloves during COVID19. A man named Kyle helped me out over the phone while I drove there. So helpful and friendly and fast.

I was just at the store and i had called earlier to put a fitbit on hold until i could get there, and once i got there Kyle could not find the fitbit that was supposed to be on hold for me and he looked everywhere for it, called the guy that i spoke to on the phone earlier and had mentioned that inventory showed 2 left in stock, long story short it wasn't there, and Kyle the department manger went above and beyond to get me a fitbit that wasn't the one i was looking for but was able to honor the same price as the one i was looking to purchase and i'm grateful he was able to do that for me! Thank you again Kyle for going above and beyond to help out today!

I have received amazing customer service from Rudain, he helped me find good running shoes, he is very knowledgeable and friendly, with great customer service which is very hard to find these days!

I found Alex, the manager on site today Alex, was rude and very unprofessional. I am very surprise that he was given a position of authority in the store. I tried to exchange a jacket I bought a month ago for my granddaughter. The zipper keeps splitting after it was zipped up. I explained that I do not want a refund and even willing to pay additionall for a new jacket if needed. He looked at me, pulled on the zipper and said that he cannot see any default with the zipper. He refused within seconds that there was nothing he can do. I am not as upset about the jacket as I am more that able to purchase another jacket; it's his customer service that is upsetting. His attention to my request was immediately rude and cold. I am a regular customer in the store but as of today I will not be going back in this store. I will also inform family members and friends who are big in sport wear and discourage the use of this store.

I’m very honest and very humble individual and I never leave a review if I don’t feel I was satisfied because that’s just who I am but This is hands down the WORST! Sportchek experiences I’ve had. And only at this store! I recently bought a stick with 70% off discount. I broke it within my 30 days return. I asked to exchange it they said we don’t have it in stock but Sherwood park has it. I go to there. They don’t have it. So I had to buy another stick that I didn’t want but i “had” to buy one that day because of the discount. So i just broke that stick and I came back to this sportchek just for them to tell me the same thing they told me on my old stick. They didn’t want to help with my discount on the new stick I just bought. So I had to pay full price of the stick because I don’t want to drive to spruce grove cause that’s the only store that has my broken stick. I asked when will you get a shipment in for these sticks they said we have no idea. All I know is I’ll never buy a stick from there again!

I stopped by to look for some boots. I found a pair I really liked. The sales person went to look for my size, he came back out and said a new shipment arrived that day but he didn’t have authority to grab the items. He told me they’ll be available the next day. I came in the next day, asked for the boots in my size; sales person comes back out and tells me the size doesn’t exist! WTF thanks for nothing.

Generally I leave positive reviews, by my rating you'll see this is not one of them.

Arrived in the footwear dept at 12: 32pm on a Monday and the store was mostly empty of customers, that was the absolute case apart from myself. After a few minutes a young sales clerk approached me asking if I needed help. I replied that I did, and I needed a size on shoe. He said okay, and walked away to a couple that just walked up. He began to help them and I found it odd. I was quite clear that I needed assistance, but for some reason it didn't register, so I was left. After a bit I checked my phone to notice it had now been 15 minutes and I wasn't going to get help. The sales associate walked by me several times. It now became an experiment to see how long it would be before I recieved help.

At 1: 05 it was now over 30 minutes I was there in the department, mostly standing in front of the shoe wall. What seemed to be the only associate still, made eye contact with me a few times but wouldn't come my way and only helped customers as they walked into his department. 1: 09 I decided it wasn't fun nor funny anymore, so I went to the tills to ask for a manager. Mike approached me and I explained to him what had happened. He listened as he look beyond me around the store. He apologized and said he couldnt5speak for the associate as to why I didn't receive help.

I didn't get angry, I just explained that perhaps he should speak to him and ask why he ignored me, because it wasn't just a case of not noticing me. I told Mike I appreciated his time and didn't mean to complain, but waiting became ridiculous and I did nothing to offend or make the employee think I didn't want help.

As for a reply from management to this post, I notice you do reply and while that is appreciated, being directed to a website or phone to explain my situation, well, it's right here and hopefully you read it rather than a stock reply.

Perhaps I'll return one day and see if the customer service has improved and maybe it was an isolated incident.

I was just at this location and was being helped by your clothing manager Rihanna and felt very disrespected the customer service i receieved from her was very cold and unhelpful, she should be retrained on how to speak to customers in a more positive way, was so turned off i didn't end up buying anything! I put a one star only because i have too otherwise would have got no stars!

Love their customer service! I gave my son’s skates for sharpening and forgot to pick them up. Mike, the store manager, opened the store for me after hours and gave me the skates. Thank you so much Mike because of you my son made it to the tryouts that day!

Sport Check Manning Town Centre is a great place for sports items especially running shoes. Very nice and clean. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Recommend this place to visit.

I was very happy when the location moved over here and i was happy with he quality of staff that came with it, but please, open more registers.
