Staff friendly and helpfull.
Always some discounted articles available.
Prices are reasonable.

No selection for any sports shoes! I was offered one option for a women’s indoor soccer shoe. No turf shoes. The associate helped us with the one pair then had 8 other people to help. Appreciated he tried but very understaffed and no selection for shoes. No wait, in the middle of November they had 8 pairs of outdoor soccer shoes to choose from… worth the drive into Edmonton to go to Eurosport where I had over 10 choices of both indoor shoes and turf shoes. And better customer service.

I had TERRIBLE customer service in the shoe department on at 10am November 7 in this location. The floor associate avoided me several times hid in the back room and was very rude to me and my 9 year old son. I had to go to cash and ask them to call the associate because he would not help me or acknowledge me. Even when I pushed hard to be helped he did bare minimum and did not want to help us. It's one of the worst experiences I have ever had with customer service and I am 45.

Freja was very helpful. We were able to find everything we needed with her help and she was very friendly. She deserves a raise.

It seems every visit I make here I find something I love and its on sale. The kids section here is decent and you can usually find good stuff on sale.

Went to buy a winter jacket (2 employees chatted behind a counter), 2 pairs of runners (2 staff left me with 2 pairs of runners to go chat in the back room, never to return) and some winter boots (at this point I didn’t even bother). This may have happened if people actually worked at this location. Customer service issues made it impossible to spend money here. A real disappointment as I needed to buy a lot of items but now have to drive to Edmonton to do so. Management needs to fix the issues here. Until then, take your business somewhere where you will get service!

It's ski season still and they have 3 youth helmets. I have a GC and I've been here 3 times and left without buying anything.

I was very disappointed in service received (lack of I should say) in the shoe section! I requested a shoe size and employee handed to me then promptly left - not to be seen anywhere in area. The size did not fit correctly wanted another size but NO SERVICE! Left the store. I purchased before and service was good - what's happened?

Very professional service, I didn’t catch the name of the lady who had black hair at the front desk but she was very pleasant to deal with when I was purchasing a basketball and hooping shoes!

I have been to many Sport Chek stores in Edmonton. I never had a good experience with the staff there. But the staff in this store were awesome. They helped me to do my purchase. If I think about buying something from Sport Chek, this is where I am going to.

Just picked up my bike from a service job. Not sure what they did as nothing looks to be changed. No new cables or brake pads as discussed a few days ago. Don't think I'll be back if that's the customer service a person receives. Waste of an inspection fee as I was completely prepared to pay for the parts and installation as quoted over the phone.

Best stripper joint in sherwood park I def reccomend this place if you want a whole experience 10/10 stars

I recently purchased a bike for my daughter and was impressed with the quality of service I received. I also brought my own bike in for a tune up and was delighted by the attentiveness I received regarding my concerns and the motivation of the employee to provide the best service possible. I highly recommend this Sport Chek for tune up's and for the purchasing of new bikes.

Had an excellent experience with the bike repair tech! Will for sure be coming back for any bike repair needs in the future

Staff is rude and unhelpful! After 10 minutes waiting at the ski shop a guy shows up and has difficulty saying more than two words to me, cashier was rude (not the first time with her) Why do I keep shopping here?

November 9 2020 530-6pm stood in the atmosphere section trying to buy winter boots. No staff came by. Looked all over the store trying to find someone to help. Found 2 staff on till talking who wouldn’t make eye contact. Left without being addressed by anyone.

Went in Yesterday looking for running shoes. The lady working in that area was helpful but the costumer service I got wasn’t as great. The Staff need to be more knowledgable on there store products and help customers a bit better. The lady at the Cash register was rude towards me the whole time when I was purchasing my purple running shoes.

I have been in this store two hockey seasons in a row for my grandson and have left empty handed every time. Its that time of the year that we are looking for hockey socks for our kids, two years in a row nothing, not to mention if they do have there was no associate to be found. I was in the shoe department to start to buy shoes, no one to be found moved to the hockey department no one to be found.bought hockey tape on the up side they had a cashier. Wont be back! This review above shows I gave the store a 3.5 and that is not fact I gave them a 1

Only one associate in the atmosphere part of the store but once I found her she was super helpful and friendly!

Ordered a new pair of shoes from the store in a color they did not have in store at the time. The shoes which arrived were clearly used and damaged. There was hair in the shoes and the shoe was all marked up. Very disappointed

Asked for help in shoe dpt. No one came. Waited 10 mins. CALLED store - asked for help. Still no one. Another 10 mins. Abysmal customer service. Went to front till to ask for help. Lovely gal called the manager who had been called twice already. His name was Matt. He finally showed up- was rude, dismissive and interrupted when I tried to explain what I needed. No apology, just ignorant and arrogant.

The worst customer service experience I've ever had! I just left sport check in Emerald hills, I was looking at purchasing running shoes. I found the same pair I had looked at Amazon and my boy friend found someone who worked there to ask if they price match. The guy was uninterested in helping out but said as long as it's not below cost. Then he asked the manager who said they won't price match Amazon, when asked why he said "we just don't dawg". It's fine they don't price match Amazon, fair enough. But I still wanted to try on shoes and ask questions. Both manager and colleague went into the back while I stood waiting for assistance. So not only did they tell me to go shop else where, essentially, they weren't willing to help me out and try and keep my business. I also find it inappropriate and unprofessional from a manager to call someone dawg. Super unimpressed and will likely not be back as the staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there so why should I be there.

Zero service. Stood around the ski boot area for 10 minutes with $500 in my pocket, then went and asked for help, she kindly radioed someone to go help me, waited another 15, I’m out. Off to Mud Sweat and Gears, or even Amazon. Wasn’t even very busy in there. This team is contributing to the death of brick and mortar retail, which is a sad thing.

2nd time there and same poor service. Nobody can be bothered to help you. Won't be going back. Lots of places/ways to shop.

As usual takes way too long for someone to come ask if you need a certain pair of shoes and then to get the size takes even longer. Quite amazing actually.

Not store related, should have just stuck with Amazon. I ordered a two piece swim set for my daughter, only the top came in the mail. Not a big deal, but their solution to the issue is me waiting one week for a caseworker to call me, and then sending it back in the mail to them for a refund. Same swimsuit is on Amazon Prime, one day shipping. Lesson learned

As a rule I enjoy the product line and value at Sportchek. This store has the new store layout with fitting rooms in the centre. Washrooms are at the back East wall. There is an Atmosphere attached as well
I have had issues with their shoe area. Often too busy and not enough/available staff. 80% percent of their shoes are in the back and it seems to be a lengthy process to get the shoes back on the floor to the consumer. This is not a slight to the staff who are usually pleasant.
I would suggest to sportchek they have their extra stock not in the depths of the back stock area but available for associates to quickly grab. I know they must have people leaving the store out of frustration and losing those sales.
I have heard that you do not want to use their skate sharpening service if you are an avid skater. However that probably depends on who is using the blade sharpener.

Staff in ladies clothing is too busy gossiping to help anyone. Better staff in shoes and bag area. Checkout woman we had was a snot. Dont shop here unless I have to which is too bad because they seem to have a decent selection. Every time we have been there if you actually find someone in ladies wear they are busy on their phones or chatting with other staff. Met the manager once and she seemed really great so it's too bad a lot of her staff is so absolutely horrible. I will drive into the city before shopping there again

I was looking for a pair of shoes and I asked a employee if he could hand me the size of shoes that I was looking at. He rolled his eyes to me like if I was asking for change! Just for telling me that they didn’t have my number on a different models I gave him. Very poor customer service I will never come back to this store again!

I had a great experience, talked with 2 ladys who asked Mathew to come give me a hand.
Mathew went out of his way and got me everything I needed.

Horrible customer service. Had a bunch of young kids watching me like hawks. Not once did they offer help or approach me. Just stood there and watched me shop like I was trying to steal something. Did end up buying a new coat and the girl at the checkout was completely miserable. Definitely need some managers or older staff around.

Store is clean and well layed out. I was frustrated trying to find the size I needed as all the tags were tucked inside the shorts. It would definitely make things easier if they put the tags on the outside, or added a size sticker on the outside so you didn't have to dig for it. Also the clothes were a bit pricey.

Sat waiting for hockey skate fitting for my daughter for over 20 mins. Nobody came to help us. Went and tracked down an employee and he radioed for someone to come to skates. Waited 20 more mins than left. Will never step foot in that store again.

Im not sure where to start but Im very picky about customer service and you guys blew my mind! No guilt spending last night as Ishara and Dayna and a young fella in the shoe department and the lady that gave me friends and family discount! You all are amazing! If there were 100 stars to give Id give them all! For a young crowd your parents must have raised you all well because so many stores dont have customer service but shows you guys care and enjoy your job! So pleasant! It was worth the drive! Thanks for the fantastic service! Ill be back!
