Giving one star because there is no option to leave zero. Aside from only catering to about two sports and everything being way overpriced, if you go in and buy a single item and scan your triangle card you will be HOUNDED with a never ending string of emails begging for a review of your experience.

No service in the shoe department and 5 groups of people looking around. Two people came out after the cashier came out help some of us. One asked if we needed a size, scanned, said they didn't have it and walked back into the back room with other people still looking. We were looking to buy 3 pairs of shoes and when we bought them it wasn't from there! Awful service.

Sportcheks are always doing Reno's. But what's worse is. The glues and paint fumes. They don't close.
I go in to get shoes and had to leave after like 5 mins.
Why would you be opening with those chemicals in the air.

The worst sport chek on the planet. Since they are renovating, they feel zero obligation to provide any customer service at the bike shop, and are so stunned, their sales associates don’t even offer to call another sport chek store to see if what a customer wants is in stock, rather they are more focused on installing shelves. Do yourself a favour, the store is small, they have zero inventory and the staff is even worse, SO don’t shop here!

Went to this location last night, as my sons winter coat broke. Of course this close to end of winter. However, was disappointed that when I went in there was no kids coats out but men's and ladies. Kid's should probably always be out longer then men and ladies. However, I did ask for help, and Peter was able to help me out. I did have to wait, as he had to go to the back to look for it. I appreciate the help. Given that we live in Calgary, I do think that maybe there should be some future consideration to keeping out kids winter gear until April.

I really like this store and the variety of activewear and sports materials they carry. I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of whatever I may buy. The employees are very friendly, however, I think there may be an issue with management. I was looking for a specific item and couldn’t find it so I went to the cashier at the front and asked if they had it. The girl was friendly and said she wasn’t sure and would send someone to help me. I had an appointment so was a bit rushed and ended up waiting about 15 minutes and still no one had come so I left without any help. The store from what I could see had about 3 customers including me, it was very empty, yet, I saw maybe 5 or 6 employees. Customer service is something they could work on.

The manager of this store, who is a complete and utter hag I might add, needs an attitude adjustment.

"Customer Service Representative".

That's the role she is supposed to play, it's in the name for crying out loud. Tried to offer feedback, on her bone-idle, lazy staff. To which she responded in the most unprofessional manner.

With "leadership" like that, how can anyone expect anything other than failure from the staff?

For context, I went to the South Centre location, where the staff, albeit admitting to not being trained properly, did everything they could to be helpful. 5/5 all the way for them. They called the 130th location, who said they didn't have the item in the size I wanted. Of course they said this within twenty seconds, which indicates that they simply looked on the computer, rather than walking twenty paces to the shelf.

South Centre said it was showing as in stock, so I drove over there to find an abundance of the jacket I wanted. Upon speaking to the manager, to provide general feedback. I was greeted by the definition of a "Karen". I realize the irony here after asking to speak to the manager.

Someone who doesn't care about customer feedback. Had this nasty woman not chosen to be so defensive, I'd have had the chance to deliver my constructive criticism in a more polite manner.

Sadly I could read the bias and discrimination on this managers face the second I started speaking.
I'd avoid this location all costs.

I'd rather drive anywhere else in the city than go back here and deal with this person.
