If you value your time, money or sanity DO NOT GO HERE. The service department is a joke and you will need to constantly babysit the staff. Buttons on one side of my steering wheel stopped working and my regular mechanic told me it was something I should get fixed by the dealership. Taking it to Spruce Grove Hyundai, they quoted me about $800. I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out so that they could order the parts. Showed up to this appointment only to be told they DID NOT ORDER the part. Again booked an appointment 2 weeks out and had them confirm they actually ordered the part. At this appointment (estimated to take 1 hr) they took over 4 hrs and still did not fix the issue (misdiagnosis- they actually needed a different part). I told them to give me my car back as I had to go to work and didn't have time for them to mess around all day. So again they ordered a part and said they could call me when it was in. I called once a week for 3 weeks and they said it was on backorder. So I stopped calling. Almost 2 MONTHS later, I called because I still had not heard anything. Oh, the part is in! They never phoned to let me know. Made yet another appointment and finally my issue was fixed (4 MONTHS LATER). I had to pull a "Karen" and talk to the manager because they tried to charge me for the hours of labor/parts when they misdiagnosed my vehicle. Nice try. The 2 service techs I dealt with (Cory and Nicole) were terrible at communicating even though their desks were 5 feet apart. Would get one quote from Nicole and later the same day Cory would call me with an entirely different story. Had to go above them because they wouldn't return calls and couldn't give me straight answers. Nicole was actually the more helpful one, even though painful to deal with. At my final appointment, I was told she was fired.

Most frustrating service experience of my life. Wouldn't trust them to fix anything. Have to give 1 star because I can't give negative stars.

UPDATE: during my last appointment, they told me that my radiator was leaking and quoted me $1800 for parts to fix it (new radiator, new thermostat, new hoses and clamps.). After my experience (above), there was NO way I was getting service done at this dealership again. Took it to my regular mechanic, and he fixed it for $140. It was only a rusted clamp that needed to be replaced. It is offensive that Hyundai would have charged me over $1800.

Just bought a used vehicle. Justin Asmar made my purchase very easy and enjoyable. A very knowledgeable and ptofessional individual. It was a pleasure doing business at Grove Hyundai. I will rdcomnend this dealership to others and I will be back.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. They had my car for 2 months, because every week they still “weren’t done”; to replace the transmission fluid hose and ended up taking out my command start, charged me $3700.00 for my car to not be fix, and now my odometer completely shuts off if it’s ran for 15 mins. But not to worry, they offered to install my command start for me for another $300.

I was shopping for a newer used car and Blake helped me out. He was super attentive and very helpful with finding the right vehicle. His customer care was above and beyond making sure I was well taken care of during the whole process. I highly recommend asking for Blake to help you in your next vehicle purchase, as I know I will be going back in the future when it’s time to upgrade my husbands vehicle.

Last month my car started overheating out of nowhere. So I brought it to hyundai spruce grove. They took the car in, scanned the code and ordered the coolant temperature sensor. It was supposed to take 1 week but someone in the service department ordered the wrong part so I waited in total of 2 weeks and I was not provided with any loaner or rental car. I got the car back after 2 weeks, 2 days later the car was overheating again. I took it back to them and all they did this time is scan the code and clear it. I tried to convince them to diagnose it properly because I'm sure something is wrong with the vehicle and it won't be fixed by just clearing a code. They did not listen and asked me to pay the diagnosis fee, because according to them they did not find anything to fix under warranty.when I asked why I have to pay when there's clearly something wrong with the car and it should be covered under warranty. The service manager (Rob) told me that he would let me leave without paying only if I don't ever come back. I did pay the fee and left with my car. A day later the car was overheating again. I just got my car towed to another dealership, even though it was kinda far. They were able to find the problem and I didn't have to pay any fee.

I tried reaching out to Hyundai spruce grove after my car was fixed to ask for a refund. They said they can't do anything about it now.

IF YOU'RE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH YOUR CAR JUST GO TO ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP, IT WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF TIME.

Be careful visiting this dealership:

Went to view a car, drove a decent ways to see it and had scheduled an appointment. When we arrive the car is not clean (even though the saleswoman claimed to have recently cleaned it) with visible grime and oil residue throughout the engine bay and even in the door jams. The sales woman was a bit confrontational but that could just be playing hard-ball. Regardless we got in to begin the test drive and noticed the gasoline light was on, ie.kept warning that it had low range. We alerted her to this however she stated this was fine. Furthermore, the "Change/Service Oil" warning had been on for over a year and had been driven 11,000 km since the car was scheduled for service, which it apparently never received. We embarked and it wasn't long until we realized that the interior was just as bad as the exterior: there was dust, used tissues, dead spiders, and pet hair throughout. My partner is severely allergic to pet hair and began having a reaction so we rushed back to the dealership. They could not understand nor did they give us any sympathy or apologies for the situation. We tried to explain the severity of what was occurring (ie.their arms were already developing hives and turning bright red, possible anaphylactic shock) however they argued with us that it "wasn't a concern" and that it is "not the same as a food allergy". The manager stated that cars are "always cleaned, but only before sale". The saleswoman offered my partner a band-aid, assuming this was enough to treat the allergic reaction (we had to leave the dealership so she could get entirely new clothes and emergency medicine). We were obviously upset by the ordeal but instead of even apologizing they threatened to have us removed if we did not leave.

They sold me a used car with busted headlight they said at first thy will schedule me.then after a month of waiting they where saying I need to pay for the parts and labor. I will not truth this guy's again.

I have had my vehicle in twice for warranty oil changes and seasonal tire changes since moving to Alberta in April 2022. Each time, I was let in to the service bay within 30 seconds, met by a service rep and was on my way back home sooner than estimated on arrival. No complaints from me for that kind of service

Had to share my dissapointment on this branch, i guess not recommendable to if you planning to buy new/used car here after we bought used car and raised our concern to agent Hanna together with his general manager and just simply doesn’t care anymore to customer.we boughtused ford escape and after 3 days i just texted the sales agent that why is there lack of power and need to press harder when you drive and the rpm was high.so we are requesting for them to check it but instead of offering us a solution, Hanna just simply say” oh i have to talk to my gm and when she is back she just say” oh my manager said you need to pay for diagnostic” so i was like can you please atleast offer this for free to ease our mind? ” as this is only not more than 5days? Listen to your customer concern, this branch are just after your money, i know its only diagnostic fee but getting 15k to your sales.just oh wow… so i ended up paying $202 i know for you guys its only diagnostic that we are asking and you will just say business as usual, Dont be so greedy with your customer karma will get back to you, so to all of you that planning to buy a car please not on this branch if you dont want to experience headache after.

So at first it was a questionable decision, the original sales person didn't get back to me, when I contacted them about the truck I was interested in.
I drove in and met with my sales person Trudi, we discussed my situation, and she took over, and took control. *note Trudi wasn't the original person I talked with through email.
We went out for a test drive, I found a few deficiencies with the truck, and made a plan to have them rectified, and came up with a price, and worked from there.
I highly recommend Trudi as a sales person, she worked hard to get things done for me, and as a former sales consultant I liked our interaction, professional, personable, and caring.
Finance was a breeze, sorry can't remember the ladies name, but was a great finance manager, also show love to our huge German Shepherd, that she allowed in her office.
Overall experience with these people was a positive experience, I am happy with the team, and again, I highly recommend Trudi for your next sales consultant

This was not the first Hyundai dealership I was in but it was the one that made me feel comfortable. Jordan Hutton was the sale person who help me. He was pleasant and knowledgeable about the product. I had to pre-order the vehicle and was kept well informed of the progress through the wait period. This was the first time in my 70 years that I felt 100 % confident with my purchase. I never bought a vehicle before that didn't feel like I was being pressured. I was happy with the trade value and the price of the purchase. Thank you to Jordan for making me feel part of the family. My highest compliment to Jordan and the Spruce Grove Hyundai dealership.

In all the years we’ve been buying cars this far surpassed any previous experience we had. The salesman we had was Jordan and he doesn’t use any pressure tactics and is happy to listen to what your needs are. He has a very relaxed sales approach. I'm pretty sure this was my best car shopping experience! I was looking for a used vehicle and had budget I needed to stick to. Zero pressure and no one tried to get me into something brand new or out of my price point. Everyone is so friendly and it's such a relaxed environment. Cameron was excellent to have on my side working to get me into the vehicle I wanted! Leanne worked some financing magicand Abhi also helped to make this happen! Definitely would recommend! And decent money for my trade

I went to buy a car that has been discounted $11000 on their website but not on kiji. When I went there they confirmed that the car is available and that the posted price on their website is correct. They took all of my information and showed me the car. When I said I like it and sat down to sign the papers they told me that they've made a mistake and the car is not discounted. They did change the price on their website but they also changed the price on the kijij and this time on the kijij price wa discounted $ 11000. Cheap scam tricks from the dealer. 8 would not work with them again. Definitely, I was expecting more from go auto dealer.

The staff were all nice, however, upon reflection, I found this sales experience was not up to the standards I would normally expect.
Examples:
Negotiations were painfully slow (resulting in just a 1% discount, after 2 hours of discussions), as the price paid for the vehicle by the dealer was in excess of what the market would normally pay for it, (assuming the finance report shown was accurate). I know this, because upon googling the VIN there were multiple ads still posted where the asking price was 5K lower from the dealership who had the vehicle previously.
THEN felt we were given the guilt trip on this small discount amounting to a minimal payment difference (but when you multiply it over the lifetime of the financing, that few dollars is worth a lot more than the original amount discounted long term).
One of the repeated sticking points during the negotiation was that the car needed to be fuelled, and detailed (standard practice on a car purchase in my experience). I arrived home shortly after leaving the dealership to notice the fuel gauge still at a quarter full.
Vehicle was detailed *After the purchase was finalized, so some interior blemishes were unclear until taking possession in the evening, presumably after the techs had gone home.
Had two conflicting Car Fax Reports on the same car, one with missing time frames; and was told that I'd have to take that up with Carfax (doesn't seem like it should be my business to take up with Carfax).

The car has been good so far, other than revving at idle: S

We bought a Denali Acadia from Grove Hyundai. Right from the.minute we walked in the door we were treated with respect, The people who dealt with us (Abby, Joseph and Leigh-Anne) were respectful, friendly and very helpful. Leigh -Anne made sure everything was in working order, detailing was done very well; Abby ensured.we.got a new.key fob as the.one that came with the vehi le.was.broken, and Joseph was.exc3llent for being sure we got great treatment. We have been at other dealership.lately where it really seemed that the salesperson could have cares.less if s/he.got a Sale.or.not.and.left us standing in the.lot so we were very pleased by the treatment we got at Grove Hyundai
