SS106 Aperitivo Bar

Had an absolutely wonderful meal here with my toddler and wife for a ‘date night’. I worried the place was too intimate for a kid, but they not only accommodated us but bent over backwards to make us all comfortable, doting on our daughter, and keeping up the service and attention. Food was authentic and delicious, wine list is full of incredible value gems and the atmosphere is casual but comfy. I definitely recommend. Would be a great spot to watch a soccer game as well.

We booked a table on Wed at this locally operated Italian place in North East part of the town. The place was full house with an in house customer appreciation dinner event, all other table had same set dinner and the place is full of conversations. We order appetizer and a pasta dish. I believe due to the full house event, we have to wait for sometime and probably due to the place is so loud that the server got the wrong order and give me the wrong pasta. She offer to exchange, but I do not want to watse food so I accept the wrong pasta dish. I am quite surprised that the place did not offer any other thing to compensate for taking the wrong order. Anyway, the pasta is cooked Al Dente, and the source is great even it was not what I originally ordered. I will give the place another try to continue supporting local business.

We came as a group of 4 for my partner’s birthday. Upon first walking in the restaurant looked small and unassuming, but it was jam-packed on a Sunday evening.

Our Spritzes were amazing, as were the Arancini Balls. The Calamari was tasty but a bit too rubbery. We each got a different pasta dish for our entrees, and I think we all agreed at the Gnocchi Ai Funghi was the winner - the gnocchi was so fresh, and the Gorgonzola sauce with mushrooms was to die for. After adding a bottle of red wine, dessert and Espresso Martinis to finish, we had ourselves a lovely evening!

It's a hidden gem, the place is a bit understated for what you get but every recommendation from either of the servers was an absolute banger from the kitchen. They easily accommodated some dietary restrictions. I can't think of a place that truly surprised me as much as this one did. Absolutely a gem, grazie mille.

First time here, and I love the concept. Came to celebrate our anniversary, and we will come back. To me, this is a cool weather restaurant as it is not air-conditioned with an open overhead door to the patio. (Sorry I don't do well in the heat so it's just me)

We visited Calgary from Kelowna. Came in for Dinner and had a really great time!
Excellent food, good service, nice ambiance. Highly recommend!

Have been 2 times, once for happy hour wine which was great and another for wine and appies and wine both great experiences. Met the owner who chatted with us and told us some history of the place. Highly recommend! Will be back

Friendly, authentic atmosphere on this hidden gem in Crescent Heights. Drinks and food were 10/10.

Ordered the Margarita Pizza & Gnocchi with some drinks on the side.

Took us in at 11: 00 when they were going to close at 11: 30, from what I was told the owner himself preppared the food for us to make our night complete.

Lovely place to stop for a bite. Really enjoyable atmosphere combined with well prepared drinks and delicious food. Price is great and the well trained staff have impeccable timing when checking on you mid meal. Highly recommend SS106.

Amazing service and nice atmosphere. I found it a bit pricey for the food. The pasta and the pizza were just okay, nothing special. The drinks were fantastic. It’s worth to give it a try if you love Italian cuisine.

We ordered way too much food. Calamari could have been crisper. Meatballs (salsiccia) were tasty. Gorgonzola rice balls (arancini) were awesome with a creamy Mushroom Sauce. I would have been happy just eating those! Had to take the salad home as we were too full. A little noisy but good service.

Accidentally stumbled upon this gem and sooooo happy we did! Great drink menu where we were able to find pisco on a menu! Had the pizza and carbonara and did not disappoint. Thank you for the delicious food and vibes!

Excellent atmosphere, fantastic service, and the food was sublime. I will definitely be back. Had family with me that are hardcore vegan and they were extremely accommodating and everyone was very pleased indeed. Also, killer Negroni.
