St. Francis Xavier Sports Centre

Really impressed with how we are treated at the rec center today. Our club was treated well and our members had a good experience today.

Beautiful and clean kept volleyball courts. Locker/change rooms also very clean. Received a friendly welcome when I walked in. Can’t wait for my ESSC schedule to have me playing there again!

The gym they have there for lifting isn't big at all they have a bit of cardion at one corner of the track, some fixed machines at the other corner and then 2 benches with some dumbbells at another corner. If you're looking for a good lifting session I wouldn't recommend this facility

The locker area was clean when i went, might want to come early if you want a spot because it is first come first serve. The gyms are also clean and is big. They have a variety of sports to pick from and nets to set up.

It may have minimal equipment but good enough for some games and exercise to make you interested in working out and play.

The facility is clean and staff are great. Please turn on some air conditioning in this heat the walking track and weights are on the top floor. Yesterday is was 27 degrees up there.

Beautiful facility for basketball and volleyball. Would give this place 5 stars if they could improve on two things.

1) add more workout equipment and other accessories. I would go more often if they had more gym equipment or maybe an extra room or two with weights, machines, squat racks, etc.facility is so big I think they can definitely add yoga room (for other classes on level 2) or maybe use one of their courts on level 1 to add extra equipment. Because I feel like they went a little excessive with the basketball and Volleyball courts. Lots of wasted space here

It’s also missing other important gym feats like a mirror, kinda weird to be lifting without a mirror to see my form.

2) Also the hours are very limited, not everyone can make those times.

Overall a lot of underutilized space in a beautiful facility.

I would give the facility 5 stars, however I would give the person at the front desk named “Mohammed “ 0 star. He Was very rude and his costumer service skills not up to the right standards. He need more training on his customer service skills.

Good place to exercise but I wish the weekday hours could be extended
When it opens at 5 makes it more difficult to attend Monday to Friday

Good facility, with three separated full sized gyms, a running track with gym equipment around it on top surrounding the gyms, and nice, clean, decently sized change rooms, this is a nice place to go and play basketball, volleyball, or even handball.very clean facility.

In the west side of Edmonton, this is the only Recreation center that is open to the public, wich is only open from 5: 00 to 9: 00 pm. Since they are not open in the morning I have to go to south and the north with my friends. It is really poor. Please try to open it in the morning. Thanks

Very nice gym for sports and fitness. Very clean place as well. Nice blecher area for the spectators.

There's all kinds of activities for teenagers to play, and place where you get discounts on bus pass if you picture ID to get it.

Got bad experienced here.a instructor dont want to share the bench and weights because they rent the space for 1 hour.even the desk says i can.

Whenever I stop by here, I am always greeted by the friendly workers at the front desk, which is greatly appreciated. A nice, clean facility also. Stop by if you're in need of some exercise.

Nice clean facility and a great place for dry land training for our football club in the preseason.

I was told by 311 that I could buy my bus pass until 10 here. They closed their till at 930. I still have no bus pass for may. I will give a 4 to be fair but the till should not be closed at 930.

If you're looking for a track, this place is great. There are three gymnasium, but I've always seen them in use by the high school classes or teams. There are a good selection of free weights, and one of most machines, so if someone else is using it then you have to wait your turn. Over all, it seems acceptable for the price paid.
