Great Service, Great Staff, Good turn around times. Have used Standfast Auto over the years, and I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a full service shop for auto repairs.

The staff was very friendly and informative, the service are excellent and sincere. The mechanics are sharp and have pin pointed my cars problem very efficiently and accurate. I recommend this place!

Honest and informative regarding my vehicle. Porter kept me informed of any changes that came up. Would recommend their services and would use them again myself.

I find I can get in to get anything vehicle related fixed quickly and at a reasonable price, which is a rare find these days.

Awesome to deal with. They got my newly purchased unhealthy beast back to a "ahhh, I can drive in public again without getting stared at from all the weird noises". Very friendly and knowledgeable. My wife and I were heading out to the mountains and needed to get our transmission checked on short notice. Porter was able to find a spot. The mechanics were very thorough and quick! I expected the car to be in the shop for at least half a day but was nicely surprised when it was complete in less 2 hours.

Locally owned and auto repair shop. Brought in two vehicles for inspections. Best price in the area. Very honest, fair, and upfront, took pictures of what was seen and explained the repairs very well. Highly recommended and will be going back for future repairs and maintenance.

We completed our out of province inspection and found a few issues with one is our vehicles. Our experience was great throughout the process. They kept us informed and updated and always provided a couple of options whenever possible. Would definitely go here again

I called this shop because I was struggling a lot with my vehicle and had no idea what I was doing. They were amazing! I was a huge stress case and the employees provided me with such empathy and respect. If it wasn’t for their services I wouldn’t have a vehicle.

I needed my struts changed, and after buying the new struts to do myself, I ran out of warm weather to do it in my garage. Needing my vehicle serviced asap, I had a hard time finding a shop that would use the brand new parts I had instead of insisting they supply them. I reached out to stand fast at 3 p.m, and they told me to drop my vehicle off that day, and it would be ready in the morning. They called me at 9a.m. Saying the car was ready and it was such a smooth process! The vehicle rides smoothly, and I am beyond happy with their service! Everyone at stand fast was extremely friendly and professional, and I will definitely be going there for future service!

Stand Fast Auto is awesome! I bought a used (European) car with lots of issues. They were professional, kind, knowledgeable, and took care of my vehicle and brought it back to pristine driving condition; for a very affordable price. They are now my sole car service provider for my vehicles. If you’re in northern Calgary or anywhere in Airdrie, or especially if you drive a European car and don’t want to waste a huge amount of money at the dealership, bring it here for tune ups and anything else.

I have nothing but good things to say about this shop. Their staff is so helpful and accommodating. My car was having engine issues, they got me in right away and took care of the issue immediately.

Horrible horrible service. Will destroy your vehicle and when you attempt to hold the owner accountable they are combative and argumentative and out right rude.

Ya easy for you to say that you did offer me that diagnosis for free but after what after you charged me 2100 dollars to fix the problem form the beginning, and whe I brought it back after I found out that the transmission is still leaking oil and the the problem isn't fixed, I brought it back and you said now it might be something else and I should take it to Mercedes, what a joke why do the work to begin with if you didn't know the source of the issue. You guys love ripping people off like us young adults that don't know much about cars but expect something in the mail from me very soon.

Very warm and welcoming. Mike is super kind and helpful always. Even helps over the phone if you are stuck in a situation and doesn't rush.

I called in a panic on a Friday morning, they installed a new alternator, belt and fixed the sunroof of my car all by 4pm the same day! Mike is so nice. They even have a shop dog, Stella!

I had a minor diesel emergency and these guys were awesome. They had me in and out in under an hour and charged me a very reasonable price. I went back a few months later for an oil change [just before covid]. Charged me $126.00 and gave me a huge list of things I needed to fix that were leaking, cost would be anywhere from 2500 to 3000 to fix it. I'm not a jump the gunner so I held off on repairs. Fast forward to May, I had a recall on my passenger side airbag and brought my car to Ford, they not only changed the air bag, but checked all fluids, tread on my tires, air pressure etc, etc and gave my car a clean bill of health. I asked if there was anything leaking, and they said there was nothing. Fast forward again to end of June, I needed an oil change so this time went to Minute Lube. Cost was 106.00 [3rd best oil] and all fluids, tire pressure and tread was checked. My boyfriend asked if there was anything leaking, they replied no, every thing looks great. We thanked them and left. Pulled out the receipt from Standfast with the list of things I need and compared it with both Minute Lube and Cam Clark Ford. Let's just say I'm really glad I didn't bring it in for repairs that two out of three shops said I didn't need. These guys are speedy and polite, no denying that. This last visit however was a bit pricey and could have cost me up to 3000.00 if I didn't check the issues out for myself. I'm glad I checked. I would suggest always get a second or third opinion! Won't hurt to and could save you some money.

Awesome autoshop, they adviced me on my break issue and I ended up saving a lot of money. Great customer service too.

I brought in my 2003 4runner because the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. They kept my vehicle for 8 hours on a Friday. Told me they couldn’t figure it out but they recharged my system. That will be $80 thanks. My system didn’t need to be recharged and still didn’t work. Please bring it back on Monday. 6 hours later on Monday they had installed a few feet of 16 gauge wire and a single $8 toggle switch to manually override/turn on the AC. Charged me $400 for 20 minutes work and $15 of material. They didn’t even use spade connecters. Just twisted the wire onto the terminals. Rip off hack job of a shop!

Stand fast was very welcoming upon arrival, got a repair done yesterday and everything went well car drives like new again with no issues. I called the day before and they were able to fit me in the next morning. Whole process was fast and professional couldn’t ask for anything more. Will go back again for any repairs May need.

I went there because of the reviews, however, my experience wasn't a pleasant one. I had a part replaced that didn't need replacing to the tune of $300, and drove away with the car still with the same problem I took it in for originally. In addition, they told me my oil pan was leaking, another $300 to repair. I put that on hold as well as the other original issue as I now wanted a second opinion as the cost was going to be substantially more then originally thought. I then took it to another automotive place in Calgary that specializes in Subarus and discovered that it was an entirely different problem, and the owner was also kind enough and honest enough to tell me it wasn't my oil pan leaking, it was the head gasket and to just leave it as it cost a ton to fix that problem and considering the year of my car, wasn't worth it. StandFast would of charged me yet another $300 replacing something that didn't need to be replaced.yet again. I went back to StandFast, spoke with the owner, asked him why he replaced a part that wasn't even mentioned, he of course denied it. He denied everything, and blew it off as just "another mechanics opinion". When I told him that even his own mechanic wrote on the work order that he checked the parts (of which one was replaced regardless) and they were fine, he made up an instant excuse. I am 64, on disability, and frankly spending 1/3 of my income on work that didn't need to be done, nor wasn't authorized upset me greatly. What bothered me even worse is how effortlessly he lied. They seemed like such nice people. I really expected he would of handled this differently. I'm angry and upset and would never ever recommend anyone going there.

Honest and friendly service. Not only did they fit me in when they were booked for the day, but they gave me all the info I may need for my spark plug tune up. Even when you go to pay they explain everything in detail. My car now starts instantly and quiet. Would have not thought that was possible for a 2000 Malibu. If you need things repaired at a decent price point and you can't do it yourself, than go to stand fast.

Nicest group of people I have ever met. You can tell that they really care about the well being of their customers, and I will be returning to them anytime I have an issue with my car.

Paul & Zuzanna And their entire team are beyond helpful. They aren’t just mechanics running a company/business. They genuinely care about you and your vehicle. My vehicle broke down, I was beyond stressed, frustrated and overwhelmed at what the cost and steps would be. Being a woman I was super skeptical about taking my vehicle into the mechanic as I didn’t know anything and didn’t know who to trust. They were right down the way from my work so I decided to have my car dropped of there. My vehicle was dropped off after hours and I left a note for them to call me in the morning so I could explain what happened. I didn’t sleep a wink that night! Paul called first thing and listened to what had happened. He took a look at my vehicle and I was beyond relieved that it was fixable and affordable for a single woman’s paycheck at the time! I had a separate issue many months later, dropped my car off and Zuzanna even offered to drive me home. I wouldn’t trust any one else and am so happy to have had the experience of trusting them and knowing that if there is ever anything I need, big or small. Once our beloved car had had enough, Paul was honest and told us it had to go and why - he could have kept taking our money and putting bandaids on it but that’s not Paul, he knew it wasn’t safe and for his honesty, I am beyond thankful! Over the years we have taken both our vehicles there and have been nothing less than satisfied as our expectations are always exceeded - I can’t imagine trusting any one else! Thank you both for all you do! We have moved to Edmonton now, but wouldn’t hesitate to make the drive or tow back if we had to just to know we were going to be taken care of by the Stand Fast Family!

Is that bolt supposed to rub like that!? ! This is a horrible place to take you vehicle the owner is a fraud and cheet. They over charged me took advantage of the fact that I am not mechanically inclined. Then left me at there mercy because I have to pay whatever they charge to get my vehicle. As a customer we have no protection from mechanics that do whatever they want to make extra money.

I just had my air conditioner repaired yesterday by StandFast Automotive and through the extra effort in labour they saved me from having to buy a new compressor. I hung out and chatted with them for a bit while paying and found them to be such kind and caring people, highly recommend. Plus Stella their small dog is such a cute greeter she creates a nice atmosphere when you walk in.

These guys are crooks. I'm not the only one who will get swindled by them, and I certainly won't be the last. They lied right to my face and told me that an alignment was done TWICE, and going to Subaru Calgary, the angles they had set everything to was waaay off, even after they blamed the tires, which I then replaced, as they asked me to. My drum brake also fell apart on my way home from the shop (jammed a wheel and I skidded to a stop, coulda had a serious accident), after I picked the parts off the road to show them what had happened, they promised that they replaced the parts, but really they just reused the old broken parts, I insisted I see the old parts and the owner screamed at the top of his lungs at me, I had to take the car back to the dealership to have it checked out, surprise surprise, they had installed the old broken parts back in, incorrectly also. They mangled one of my lug nuts and put it back on (see pics). Also, they are pretty good at posting replies that somehow the car owner is in the wrong and that there aren't any records of the service, it's all BS. I used to go to these guys for basic stuff and Zuzanna was always friendly So I didn't think twice about taking it there after an accident, clearly they aren't equipped for bigger jobs, and making sure things are proper and safe. Unless you really don't like having money and seriously dislike having a properly working, safe car, avoid this place like the plague. I wouldn't trust them to touch a kids bicycle.

BUYER BEWEAR! There reply is full of lies just like the owner I asked for work that was not covered by my insurance. I was aware of the cost just make sure you get a written estimate up front. This mechanic is a hack and incapable of doing a simple job like installing air bags. I have pictures to prove it STAY AWAY! Also how is it the customers fault when you are the supposed professional. Be accountable for your own actions. StandFast the mechanic that will make your vehicle come to a Standstill Fast! These guys are liars thieves and cheats. If I could do negative 5 stars I would. These guys are criminals they will over bill you and lie at the drop of a dime. They called and said my bill was $640.00 but they had to bill me for a air bag that was installed by them incorrectly and charged me an additional $200.00 which is substantial. Then they called me to say my vehicle was ready on Monday. So I went to their shop paid the inflated price to find out the vehicle wasn't even ready. I had to call every day to see if it was ready it's now Friday.

I have had both my old 2001 Chevy Silverado that they knew me as toe tag and my dodge magnum it is was the best service I have ever had.so friendly and professional

These guys are liars, if you read other review you will see they have done the same thing to many people.they take advantage of you and they blame you for mistakes they make.they don't give proper estimates, if you are going here make sue you get a written estimate or they will accuse you of lying.employees treated me with disrespect and took advantage the fact that they didn't make a written estimate, they charge what they feel like and not what they say at first.

I feel that the people leaving poor reviews must have something personal against the folks running this shop because my experience was one of the most genuine, honest, helpful and personal I've ever had from an auto shop.

The crew is a tight-knit family whom are clearly very knowledgeable, down to earth and experienced. I dealt with Zuzanna who seems to be the one responsible for the inner workings of the shop and had the work completed on-time and professionally by Paul and his crew.

They were one of the only companies who would offer me direct billing for LGM so that I could get warranty work done on my car, and I'm glad that this was the case. I wouldn't have wanted to get my work done anywhere else now that I've met the crew. The work required a transmission teardown and rebuild and I felt fully comfortable leaving the work in their capable hands.

I would wholly recommend this shop to anybody who is looking for a very personal and friendly experience and I would be willing to drive long distance in order to give them my business again. They seem to hold their traditional values above money.

None of this review is pandering and these are my honest feelings about the shop, coming in as a fresh customer with absolutely no prior association. I guarantee that anybody bringing their vehicle to these guys will not be disappointed by the level of service they receive.

I received a quote for them and only chose not go with them due to my own personal time constraints with our vehicle. They were fast, courteous and extremely fairly priced and transparent for the quote, even following up with us. That says a lot about a company, how it values their potential clients. We hope to be able to have them take care of us in the future!

I have brought many vehicles to Stand Fast over the years (most recently my Ford Focus) for repairs and am always amazed at how efficient and courteous they are. They always go above and beyond to look everything over to make sure my vehicle is safe and only recommend necessary repairs, being sensitive to my budget. They even let me know when repairs are not necessary! They have been very clear and thorough about what needs to be done now, and what I can expect to be serviced in the future, allowing me time to budget. As I’ve waited for repairs, I’ve witnessed Paul & Zuzanna take care of their customers as if each and every one is their best friend. So refreshing to receive such expertise with a caring attitude. I noticed the loud clunking in the front end of my Ford. Took it to my Paul‘s shop and was diagnosed quickly and repaired quickly. They even diagnosed a serious problem with my front end brake pads which only had 10% left. If the repair had not all of been done, it could’ve been a different scenario for me on the road. I've been going to StandFast for the last year since I moved to Airdrie. They have always been clear and upfront about what work needs to be done to my vehicle, and call me with any updates on the repairs. Pricing has also always been clearly stated to me before/during/after the work is done. They also let me know what I can expect for repairs for my next visit. I have not had any issues with the workmanship of the mechanics here.
Zuzanna is a delight, and always goes the extra mile to make sure the Customer is happy. For a small Family Owned business, it's great to see them actively on Social Media, and taking the time to respond to reviews (Good and Bad). It shows that Customer Service is on top of their priorities.

Terrible Service! Charged me $1600 to fix an E brake on my truck. Went through a commercial check stop after I picked it up and the e brake failed inspection. They sent a mechanic to where I was pulled over. When he couldn’t fix it he proceeded to tell me I must of been driving with it pressed down which I clearly was not because I’m not an idiot. Left me stranded so I had to get a tow truck to get it towed back to town was obviously not going to bring it back to their shop after I talked to the owner and told me they would not refund or rectify their garbage workmanship. The only thing they said they would do to make it right was send me $100 for the tow truck which I never received. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHODY FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS!
