I was in need of a printer. Christopher at store 80 assisted me and went above and beyond ensuring I had the printer that would best meet my needs. I recommend our local store in Grande Prairie and received great customer service. Thank you Christopher.

Bought a laptop before Christmas on sale as a display. Stopped working 3 days in, during return were told they don’t have that model anymore but we could buy another model that was the same price as the original before the sale. So instead of just swapping the computers over we then had to pay the difference in the cost. The manager seemed dumbfounded when I argued that he should just swap the computers as they originally are the exact same price. Great Christmas experience.

Every time I come here the service somehow gets worse. Do better and get more then one computer for the shipping desk maybe a lesson on customer service

Ordered school labels at the end of August. After a couple of weeks I called and my order still wasn’t in. I just got a call in mid November stating my order has been there for weeks. I didn’t get a email or phone call until today. I had honestly forgotten about it bc it had been so long. The excuse was bc they order from the vendor and it’s not Staples who prints them. Terrible customer service.

The absolute best customer service ever received by Rylan Shofner. My line of work involves a lot of travel requiring me to print important documents in a timely manner with a portable printer. The model of printer has been sold out for weeks, but Rylan was knowledgeable enough to compare different versions and suggested alternatives based on what I needed it for. He even broke down the cost per sheet with ink purchases in mind. In case I wasn’t satisfied with the quality customer support, Rylan continued to impress me when he was able to source one more printer out in their inventory. I am beyond appreciative. To add, when my wallet was misplaced, O’Shane Brown helped me mitigate the issue with impromptu tech support to get my Apple Pay in order. I really can’t say enough good things about this location. Wow wow wow!

A lot has changed in the past 2 yrs since I posted the last review. The atmosphere is more welcoming & pleasant. The current staff seem eager to help & don't act like you're bothering them. Which is nice!

Seems like a place where everyone genuinely hates their job. I would recommend getting printing jobs done somewhere else in town.

This afternoon my friend and I were in Staples in Grande Prairie. We were helped by a young man named Michael, he is a Trainee. Michael is a very helpful young man, considerate and great customer service. He is a welcome addition to the team.

I like staples, have bought many lap tops and printers supplies etc over the years.
My experience today was terrible at the business center. The staff is rude and not helpful. On their phone while talking to me.
A lady in line with me talked to me outside after and suggested I go to the library
I did, and they were great, very helpful.and no charge! Guess where I go first next time:)

The store has a good selection and environment. I went in for a desk/computer chair. The service I received was immaculate.

I have a funny feeling that Staples will not be around much longer if they keep going like they are. This review is the result of a series of less than stellar experiences with Staples over the past year, however, I will describe my impression from today only.

The prices were completely unrealistic for basic supplies, anything I was looking for was not in stock, and the people at the printing service counter were so unhelpful that I went off to try to find supplies in the store to do it myself, and failed.

Today’s visit was such an exercise in complete futility to the point where in the future I will look for any other way to obtain what I’m needing other than by going to this store. I don’t write a lot of bad reviews, but Staples… you guys really need to get your act together: - (

Unless it's not in sale this place is not for personal use. Sure service is designed for business use mostly. Where you can write off your expence.

Yesterday I went to staples to purchase a t1 84 plus ce calculator. These are extremely expensive calculators. So once I find their location there are 3 color waves to select from. I notice you don’t select the actual product you must select a card board paper with the photo of the product. There seems to be 20 calculators available in the blue. Along with the other colors. I bring my paper up to the cashier. Wait in a long line. Finally it’s my turn and the cashier has to go off in search of a supervisor to fulfilling my order. After five minutes they finally come back to tell me they are out of stock. I was flabbergasted. I say to the clerk. Why do you keep this product in stock on the shelve if you are sold out of everything. She said corporate makes them. I thanked her for wasting our time. So corporate if you read this. Please do not waste your clients time. I won’t be purchasing this from you now cause of this incident.

Won't sell us the chair, don't have the chair on order, can't order the chair in for us, won't sell us the floor model. Makes no sense. Pointless to have stuff on the floor that's not actually for sale. Disappointing.

The atmosphere in the store is cold like nobody cares and they'll leave you waiting while they chat or whatever. I hate going there! It's like you're bothering them if you need help. Today when I went several weeks later whole different atmosphere. People were pleasant & wanted to help so I'm going to revise my rating to a solid 4.

A decent store but I wasn't impressed with the office chairs. I couldn't find any high quality chairs which are ergonomic. Also the chairs were very poorly put together, with multiple bolts and screws being loose.

Very bad attention in the copy area, people are rude, they don't know anything about customer service.

The staffer named Nicole at the print desk is polite, knowledgeable and extremely helpful! Thank you for your help

Found everything I was looking for quick and easy, it was after Christmas and already passed their boxing Day sales so our was surprised about the selection they still had available. Even picked up some things that I didn't have on my list!

Staples is the forgotten hidden gem. You'd actually be surprised at what they stock. It's certainly more than just STAPLES

I dig all of the services they have where you dont need a store employee to be able to use them

Tried to place an online order with them because they did not sell it in store. Firstly, it said it would take a month to get in and that I will be receiving shipment emails. Alright not too big a deal, but I never received any shipment emails. Well a month rolls around and it's still in processing. So I contact them asking what's up and they say oh sorry it will be shipped out tomorrow. I let them know that my expected delivery was then, not to be shipped then. So then they say they will look into it and put it under investigation. I asked how come if there was a problem with my order that I never received any email stating so, where they just said oh your card went through I don't know why your order is still here. So I'm now waiting out of what I need, when I receive an email stating that it's actually out of stock and my card has been refunded. Well if they would have sent it while it was in stock when I ordered it, I would have it. So now I have to order from somewhere else for the item because they messed up and were unprofessional about it. Long story short, if you have to buy it online through staples, DON'T. There is no communication on their end, they won't try to contact you if there is a problem or even if the stock somehow went out before they could get to your order. -5/5 if I could rate this properly it wouldn't get any stars. Unprofessional and will not be ordering anything from them in the future at all. Choose a different shop.

Over the past 1.5 I have been going there for my printing needs and have found that the staff aren't overly helpful.
However yesterday July 20th/2021 I went in to talk to a guy about computer tech support as I lost the paper he gave me with the phone number to call to register for it.
There was 3 (maybe 4) sales people standing at the counter and I explain to a girl that I was looking for this paper again, she started to engage in a conversation with me then kinda walked away and didn't say anything else.
Then went back to the other sales person and were on the phone.

I stood there waiting, as I had hoped she had called the guy on the walkie talkie but I wasn't sure as she literally didn't say anything to me she just wondered off and went back to socializing.

Someone else came up and saw me standing there and asked if I had been helped. I most definitely explained i wasn't sure since she never bothered to explain to me if she was doing anything for me or not.

I was told I would HAVE to see a tech person but I didn't want to sign up I just wanted the TO GO paper with the info on where to call if I wanted to sign up for their tech support.

Needless to say I wasn't shocked at such bad customer service or how poorly the 3 or 4 individuals were at basic human communication.

Thr manager should be there working with these immature people who aren't capable of a simple customer service job.

If you need something printer it is a good place but if you want to be spoke to at all or acknowledged then this is not the place to shop.

Maybe I am old fashion when I think people being paid and standing around on phones during work hours is wrong.

The girl who works in the photo center there were two red head girls, one was super nice but there was one with a darker red shirt and darker red hair and she was bossing around the other girl. I used the scanner and she literally stood behind me the entire time micromanaging me. Huffing and puffing like I'm an inconvenience, I really did enjoy staples but her attitude and peeking over my shoulder and acting like I was ruining her day was extremely rude. She doesn't seem to wanna even be at her job and was rolling her eyes when customers asked her a simple question. I think that needs to be dealt with because you lost a customer which you guys probably don't care, but I'll be certain others have felt the same exact way.
How can you treat people this way and get away with it?

Print service was amazing. Was able to get my items printed quickly and the young lady serving me was awesome.

Most visits here and purchases are Awsome but I've had a couple of epic fails here lately! I bought a 500.00 phone and two year extended warranty, I cracked the crystal screen so I put a claim in as I could no longer access my phone. I have been waiting almost a month, getting the total run around! Not happy at all!

The staff members were very helpful and courteous for my printing needs. They took extra time to help me with some technical questions that related to my print job.

I very much like how this staples is always clean and it is never super busy. The reason its 4 stars is because I usually have to go find someone to help me and they are usually all huddled in a group. How ever when ever I ask they are always polite and willing to help with what I need. How ever the over priced office cleaning supplies is silly one product I could get at Costco for 10 dollars cheaper for the exact same thing and the same size. Other than two things negatively mentioned I very much think staples here does provide a lot of good things.

Very disappointed. Went there to print and scan docs. The blonde lady at printing department is so rude and ignorant. Spend half n hour there, no body came to help me at all. Then this lady said, to set up the computer by authorizing your credit card. I got charged for 10 minute without any use for that computer. Because she left the department without helping. Worst place to go. Never going there again.
Highly not recommendable.

I walked in, was told I was required to mask, and immediately walked out and took my business elsewhere.

Huge inventory. First time checking it out. Very helpful sales associate found printer cartridges that I needed and was on my way quickly, despite the numerous back-to-school shoppers.

Went to your store to get six sheets of paper faxed of to Edmonton. I asked the girl how much it would cost she said $24.00 dollars I looked at her and said no thanks. Went to Shoppers asked them how much is it to fax of six sheets of papers to Edmonton she said $6.50 cents. Couldn’t believe it. It’s outrageous how much you charge it would be different if I wanted to get six copies then I would be using your paper. I have the recite to prove what I paid. From now on I will go to Shoppers in Grande Prairie to do my fax. I also told my friends to go to Shoppers if they got anything to fax.

Absolutely horrible. I waited for a half hour to use a machine that wouldn't accept payment. I've been here a few times, and every time it's gotten worse. Avoided this place like the plague.

Great service. I called in and asked if they carried the brand and device. A moment later he returned and said yes. They held it for me and they had it ready for when i arrived. I was in and out and the staff were professional. They have covid protocol in place and its far from invasive and more respectful. During this pandemic we have businesses as well as individuals who are starving for money. If they want to see how this is done without pissing of the the ones who thrive on that sort of thing. Visit staples grande prairie and im certain you wont be disappointed. Thank you staples. Ill spread the word.

Greatly disappoint in the poor service! My wife and I went in yesterday to return a product and one cashier would not deal with us and the other one acted like we had the plague. Very rude and very poor service. I understand this strange time we are ALL living in makes everyone's life a challenge. But is you can not act like a pro behind your shield stay home! We will never be back!

Friendly helpful staff. They offer some decent warranty on their products if you choose to spend the extra money for it. I do miss Office Depot but Staples is doing a great job in the meantime.

Service at Staples was very helpful, as always in every area, customer service great. Very helpful and also visual help, was awesome, Thank you to the Staff that went out of their way to walk me through with my faxing, photo copy

Waited in line for 20 mins to be told the fax machines were self service (no one was ahead of me). Then tried 9 times to fax to have the lady finally tell me that you had to press 9 before the number and there is no sign that says to press 9 (oh the sticky is missing she says). So wont waste my time here again.

Levi was a huge help! He was the only one in the store who was interested in give a helping hand! Keep up the great work Levi!

If you’re looking to waste 20 minutes of your life and an excuse to check out the UPS store than look no further than the Staples printing centre.

My friend asked an employee for assistance to find an external hard drive and the employee said he was busy and just walked away. There was also no one on the floor to ask for help in finding what he needed. We decided to leave and as we were leaving, the employee that refused to help when asked glared at us as we walked out.

Valery at the copy centre was amazing! She went above and beyond to help me fix the problems I was having. After having to leave and come back 3 times, she made sure that we figured it out so I wouldn't have to leave a fourth time. Don't see this kind of employee much anymore. Thanks girl!

Amazing customer service! Went in to get 150 copies of the programs for my fathers celebration of life and they did an outstanding job. The printer jammed so they changed paper (I got better quality stuff) and then the folding machine jammed and they all came together and folded them all for me. So impressed! Thank you guys.

Blonde at print Center could give some effort into customer service. I needed help at copier and she said in a minute. I wait 10 have to go and see her sitting on another project. Not busy either. Now have to find another copier.

Private Information being Public?
I totally disagree with their kiosk to pre purchase products in store, being openly viewable. Anyone can see what information you enter.
I could have purchased at home, but I went into the store. I will never pre purchase in store again.
