I was referred to this location for a new phone plan during their Boxing Week Deals and Junaid H.made this usual process quick and easy. He made sure I was aware of what the plan included and to my surprise, also told me I was eligible for a gift card from Staples due to the deal they had! Also helped me save some money by walking me through how to use the referral link from the carrier. Excellent service, would recommend!

Props to the staff at this location - especially (I think this is correct) Amin? For helping me find what I was looking for when it wasn't where it should have been. He asked the employee at the cash about price matching the website price as it was coming up a different price when scanned in store. He stuck around to make sure it was done and even offered to help me carry things out to my vehicle. I LOVE when I go to a store and the employees actually help you instead of run away when they see you looking for something. It's rare to find that these days.

My husband and I went to this Staples for new phones and new phone plans and the quality of service here was phenomenal! Dexter helped us through the switch and made it a very relaxed and easy process. He was super friendly and funny. He made sure we understood everything and gave us a great deal! He made sure our phones were completely switched over correctly and told us to come back and see him if we were unsure of anything. THANK YOU DEXTER for making this process such a great experience for us both! Truly appreciate it!

I was helped by Jenna at the Print Shop this afternoon. Her service was absolutely fantastic. Courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and prompt.

She deserves a raise. She makes the store a better place to shop.

My wife was just in this location trying to shop for tablets. Male employee standing by the tablets reading his phone. She asks him if he can help her with tablets. Says he knows nothing about them, doesn't offer to call anyone, just goes back to looking at his phone. How bad is it the Staples puts up with uncaring, lousy employees like this. They wonder why everyone shops on line, not hard to figure when the bricks and mortar experience is so bad.

Phoned the store after writing this and then seeing dozens more recent complaints of lousy service. When I talked to a manager she seemed to be completely unaware of the service problems so many are complaining about. Definite need for some detailed management training if this is true.

Don’t expect any of the workers to know what they’re doing at the print shop. If there’s a mistake of any kind there’s no accountability and you will need to pay for everything again.

Poor customer service response. I went in to pick up a cabinet and had to wait at the cashier while the manager and service desk employee were chatting all the while the cashier looking at him and asking for assistance over the radio. The manager finally came over to assist just to tell me Id have to order online as they don’t do order in for pickup. Ended up ordering online just to have fedex ship the unit to the same store for pickup at the shipping station. When I received my order the package was damaged and the cabinet dented. Staples online support offered me 10$ off the next order as resolution. I would recommend going to Walmart over staples after this experience.

Make sure to keep your receipt for all purchases because they won’t accept returns without them. Even if it’s clearly a staples brand product that was bought there. Manager lady there has an entitled attitude about her and makes you feel like she could care less about helping you.

Friendly staff and an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Will go back for more office supplies in the future.

I've tried to order custom things online two or three times and they've always messed it up resulting in me canceling my order every time.

Avoid this place. Extremely slow service. People just standing around while 1-2 work. Avoid at all cost

We're out of stock for what I wanted but staff went out of their way to help! Found it for me inather store I was able to go to.

Never had issues until today.
Due to huge lineups that take forever I needed to print on cardstock. Usually ladies are nice, but this lady told me it needs to be sent through online and that it will even takes DAYS to print. Totally discouraging me and told it will even cost me $3.00 for each print.
Is this the truth and I need this dealt with as this is my go to location.
What kind of lying service is this?
Felt like she was discriminating me for the way she spoke to me making me feel like some immigrant that can't understand her.

Katie in the solutionshop is so hardworking, caring, and kind! She did her job so well and it was amazing to see her work so hard for every customer! Definitely a top notch worker.would come back again for her

I went into this store only a few people inside the manager was talking and laughing with another worker asked for help with somthing he would not help to busy talking asked another person that was just texting on their phone still no help. What happened to customer service this store sure dosen't have any what a joke i will drive an hour away before going back i will also contact the head office

I don't find staff at this location overly friendly, but they typically have what I am in need of in stock.

I bought an LG 32 inch gaming monitor. When I got home and unpacked the item. I noticed that the tv was an open box. I reached out to the store. The manager, Eric, phoned me back the next day. He resolved the issue very quickly. I really appreciate the prompt response and the professional manner the issue was dealt. Thank you Eric for your help.

Went to buy a cabinet for the office. Saw the all employees are standing at the front chatting to each other.wait till an employee walked by and I asked him for help. He said he was busy and left. I found a cart, picked up a cabinet and loaded on myself.
Walked to the cashier to pay and a man walked up and said the cabinet is "for display and not for sale" and he pushed the cart back. The cashier and I were speechless! I left the store empty-handed. Went to another outfit to get the cabinet will never come back to this store again.

I went here to get some large items laminated. When I dropped off the items the store was really busy. There were two workers working hard to keep the line moving with the large printers, deliveries and at customer service. There were 3 workers not busy at all in the computer and check out aisles. One of them was on his phone for over 10 minutes while others ran around like crazy trying to help customers. When I got my items back from being laminated they were of poor quality. Apparently the laminator didn't do a good job because I used two sided tape to hold a poster to a large sheet of constructive paper. This didn't stop the worker from doing all 3 of my posters in poor quality and still charging me $55. Will not be going back here.

I can never figure this place out. There is always a line up for business service but only one staff. Then 2 or 3 cashiers but no line up. Would be nice to be able to pay for a fax at regular cashier.

Worst customer service at this location. Rude employees that have a bad attitude when trying to exchange or return an item. Avoid this location

Hannah at the 13154 137 Ave Staples in Edmonton helped me today (27 January 2022). When the self-serve printing station refused to print double-sided, she went above and beyond, going out of her way to make sure I got what I needed. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. She knows how to deliver high-quality customer service, and she is a strong to asset to your store. I was very impressed. I will now be going to your store for my printing needs and likely other things as well. I'll also be recommending your store to others I talk to.

Looking for a few small items but couldn't find any staff to help me. Left without buying anything.

Maybe Clean the water up infront of your store, last night I walked straight into a 1/2 foot deep puddle and twisted my ankle, told the girl at the counter she smirked and said have a good night.

Convenient and Spacious place for your work and personal needs. And even students would enjoy visiting the place too.

It would be nice if the staff know how to say "Thank you". The cashier works like a robot, "no smile" no "greeting" and asking me 4 times how would you like to pay? , although I just paid and wanted another item with my hand still holding the same card.

Twice now I have gone to this Staples and bought something recommended by an employee to work on my TV. Twice I have been let down because I was lied too. Do your own research. Will shop somewhere other than Staples.

Got my recipe books spiral bound here and they did a flawless job! Very happy with the outcome!

Pretty scary place, lots of associates as they're called now, but pretty useless, I would see them walking around but real busy doing nothing, if they're really busy doing nothing, maybe help out a customer or two when they get the chance.

Hannah is the best! She gives 5 star customer service all the time. She is very knowledgeable and patient. I had some issues with sending a courier and she spent the time to help me even though it took a while. She deserves a promotion for giving consistent great customer service.

Everytime I go to this store, sales persons are desperate pushing for extra warranties. Even if you deny, they will ask you again and again. Lack of professionalism. They will not treat you well if you do not purchase what they offer. Other then that store has good collection and better pricing. A little bit of professionalism can help a lot. Asking once is enough I think.

Although service was okay the store lacked samples and inventory of the item I was looking for. Update: went today to get a chair for my wife to work from home. Found one in the clearance area that was a perfect fit and with the 25% discount label attached so it fit our budget. When we inquired about it we were told the discount wasn't applicable because it was only for the floor model which we were told had already been sold? Why have the tag on this chair then? Needless to say we left dissatisfied, disappointed and chairless. Most businesses will honor their pricing errors (this was about a $58 error) but not Staples. Even if it goes on sale for real we probably won't be back.

Huge verity of office stuff. I bought an office desk from here. It's so value for money. The rep was so helpful that he carried that huge desk all the way to my car. Thank you.

I placed my order 10 am before 12 pm and when the confirmation email sent to me it says that I placed it 12 pm and that I must get it by the next day because I placed it by 12 pm which is not true. I was expecting to get my order by 12 pm because I ordered it 10 am so I went there and its been 5 hrs since I placed my order so 3: 00 pm pass and still I haven’t gotten any email saying that I can pick up my order. There were a lot of customers at that time and many staff too but only 2 people was working on the printing station even though it was a very busy day.

Terrible customer service, rep obviously did not want to be there, did not want to open the display case for us to examine the product we had come to look at. Unfortunately it wasn't in stock elsewhere. We did let him know how disappointed we were in the terrible attitude of the man representing Staples. Wouldn't recommend shopping there.

Sales person very respectful, helpful and also i liked dealing with him. The Manager is very rude wasn't helpful and was rushing us to purchase our items and not professional. Please advice your supervisor (who is Asian, I only say this so you know whom I am speaking of) to be patience with customers and to address questions to the best of his knowledge and to better his communication skills.

Had everything I wanted at decent prices. Lots of parking out front. I was surprised they are a drop off location for a major courier service.

I used to enjoy going to staples for my office supplies. When I needed a few new items for my home office it was the first place I considered and boy did I waste my time. First and foremost I encountered such poorly trained staff that I left with more questions then answers. Not a single person in the store had any product knowledge that was worth listening too. Eventually I had a question about price matching, that I asked directly to the manager (who i may add was short, rude and condescending) Staples price match policy is not worth the paper its printed on. If you find the same product at a Canadian retailer they will not match or honor the price. They will however match Amazon and Walmart, who both offer lower prices and shipping to begin with. Further more they started branding their own products so you can't price match most things anyway, and believe me all staples branded items are more expensive. Hopefully these things can be corrected, hopefully when the store is under new management the staff will be knowledgeable, polite, and not wandering the store on their phones.

Terrible customer service at this store they must have new management because I've always had really great service from this location and they font deserve the one star I gave. Lady at the printing department would not help me said the instructions are on the machine just go read it and she had no customers so when I explained im not good with technology and so you won't help me she said again the instructions are on the machine so I asked to talk to management and she pointed to a group and said he's one of them so I went to him and he couldn't care less he did say sorry about that service and we do have other locations that may have more time. I called head office they have responded twice by email and keep promising that someone will call and to be patient as they are backed up and that was a week ago lol. What happened to you staples!

Horrible experience a few minutes ago with the Sikh staff lady at the Courier/fax/Scanning counter. This lady was disrespectful and failed to offer supports requested. This lady’s attitude was terrible she has no customer service skills, she obviously needs to be retrained in learning to deal with customers. These young children need to be taught some manners when working at the check out counters. Displeased with the service.

Charlene should be fired. I will never shop here again because of her. She is rude and inconsiderate of customer safety during a pandemic. She doesn’t follow safety measures and there’s bound to be a coronavirus case traced back to this Staples. But she wouldn’t care, because like I said, she’s RUDE.

Staff are helpful and friendly. Store was well stocked. I needed to get a few things laminated which I was able to get done without waiting.

This business is atrocious. Out of three self help printing stations only one works & that machine is on life support as well. The one unit has dial up latency in terms of Internet speed, freezes during the printing cycle, etc. Functionality is a joke & is set up to pluck your pocket book while frustrating you as the paying customer. Asked assistance from one staff member who had nothing but attitude. She felt that I as the customer was the issue when in fact her lack of decorum & customer service experience was the problem and was furthermore a travesty. Would not recommend this printing location & business to anyone. This place is an abomination and what is even scarier the covid protocol to ensure customer safety went out the door when there level of greed peaked to get as many back to school customers into the store.

The service here is usually quite good, but I had recently did an online order for pickup and did not receive my full order. Not only was the customer service representative very rude about the whole incident, he did not try to find a solution. Thoroughly disappointed in this location.

Went to staples for back to school shopping.they had everything from onion paper to head phones even kleenex. Especially during the time of covid it is nice to have a one stop shop.they also do online services and had super helpful staff.

This place Always has the best costomer service out of any other Staples in Edmonton, I live 30 minutes away and live right next to a staples but I prefer this store.

I went to this Staples and received amazing service from Joanna on two separate occasions. She was friendly and went above and beyond to help. The rest of the staff were also nice. I would definitely recommend this location

The worst customer service I ever seen, I was using self service on the computers, and I asked many times for a help and all the staff ignored me, I won't go back this location for ever.

Went looking for a paper shredder that was on sale. Sales clerk took me right to it and answered any questions I had quickly and professionally. Awesome service.

Only accept a credit card to make copies. Or pay almost 5 bucks behind the counter. How they are still open with their high prices and inadequate services is beyond me. Will never step foot in staples again.

Have went into this location 3 times as it is the closest to my home. All 3 times were horrible. Could not find anything I needed as their stock is minimal and could not find a staff member that was willing to help at all. They were to busy on their cell phones or talking to each other. When I approached them to ask them where I would find an item, they acted like I had disturbed them. Then proceeded to say “I don’t think we have that but if we do, it will be back there somewhere. ” No customer service at all. I will make the commute to St Albert Staples next time. 3 strikes and you are out in my book!

The staff were pleasant and greeted me when I arrived. They wished me a good day when I left. Two staff members! It is actually a sad comment on the world today when you have to admit that people actually thanked you for coming to their store or were pleasant to you. A good experience and I enjoy going to Staples.

This is a customer review about an employee in the print section. I had a huge issue for a school project and submitted a document late on the staples website. An employee here named Precious went completely out of her way to help. She is amazing and helped me out so much despite how busy she was working alone.

Staff is generally friendly. Very busy line up when I went. Print center did a good job, feel its kind of over priced though.
