I had a really good exprience there today. Aruj in Photo Center is very friendly and helpful. He helped me printed a customized photo and I am happy with the effort.

Horrible customer Service…. I am waiting for the service while girls are just doing gossip

Printing services messed up my in-store and online order. They printed 8x11 inch for "save the date" invites when I told them it's for invitations that can fit in small envelopes. Then was told I have to do it online if I want a smaller print, which they also messed up as it doesn't fit the envelopes I bought FROM them (A7 envelopes 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 inch). The lady at the printing services set up the online order, I was just told to upload the photo I'm trying to print 10 times and enter my payment info. I don't understand why I had to do it online and don't understand how they got it wrong the 2nd time.

I had an amazing experience with Amardeep at the Staples store in Northwest Country Hills, Calgary. His dedication and knowledge were impressive. He was patient, friendly, and provided great recommendations, making our shopping worth it. Amardeep's commitment to exceptional service was evident throughout, and I felt valued as a customer. Staff are helpful and ready to help. Also a good place to have photos taken for passports, citizenship and for other purposes.

Tommy was well informed about the products and what is available and requirements needed that could do the job while considering other choices also. It seems customer service was high on his list.

Wonderful staff. Everybody with a smile happy to help. I had a trouble with my inline bank account through my phone. Tommy explained me everything good, told me in 10 mins would be done, and in 5 mins it was done. Went with a problem, left the store without it, with a smile and with some aditional info about this problem.

Professional they didn't have what I needed but got a quote and it's cheap about my computer $60 just for the quote

A decent sized staples store that had a good variety of products in stock. We weren’t able to find some items we needed, but they had some nice holiday gifts and decor in store. The label maker tape is quite expensive for the name brands ($35 for one roll) so we will probably get a no name brand online next time.

So I really don’t understand this locations printing services. Anytime I use them because of location (close to my house) they always make an excuse as to why they can’t do something but yet I go to the Chinook location which is closer to my work and they do exactly what I need and I’m in and out within 5 minutes.

It seems like no one there is willing to do anything to help and are quick to make excuses or just tell you to go online even if you explain to them that online wasn’t working for what you needed.

This isn’t a one off thing, it happens all the time no matter who you speak to.

Had to buy a laptop and supplies for my first year of university. Amardeep was super helpful in giving me recommendations! Highly recommend.

Pretty great store but it felt a bit empty. Several shelves not stocked or little to no product on the shelf. Otherwise the staff was great I didn't find what I was looking for though.

Prices on shelf do not reflect prices at till. This worked out to my benefit, but I may have purchased more if I knew what things actually cost.

The photocopier / printer screen and card insert is nasty dirty so gross. Needs to be seriously cleaned with alcohol!

Had one of the worst experiences at this location due to poor management. I went to pick up my order that I had purchased online but did not have my Alberta ID on hand at the time. I had proof of my online order as well as the card I paid with plus other forms of ID at the time. I even said that a family member will bring the ID to show in the next 10 min since I had to go to work but was told no. The person that so happened to tell me was also the "service manager" by the name of J. Shah. Such lack of common sense/ poor judgment made something difficult when it doesn't have to be. Anyhow, the thing that ceased to amaze me was that she was willing to cancel my order to repurchase it there, which meant she has no problem to cancel a random person's order she is not sure about. So apparently you can go in and cancel everyone else's order if you wanted to. When I finally had time to pick it up a couple days after, it so happened the general manager was there and I told him the situation. His response made me realize that it was him that hired/ trained staff to have such poor customer service for something you paid for. Unbelievable.
PS. I had 2 orders and both times they forget to demagnetize the item for the alarm to go off. You can't make this stuff up

I was ordering a printer when the site offered me $10 off orders over $100. I used the coupon at checkout and picked this store as a pickup location (it showed 1 in stock). 20 minutes later, my order is cancelled. I order a different printer, but now I can't use my $10 off coupon because it's already been used.on a cancelled order. This is dumb.

I had the BEST experience with Hiral and her team in the printing services department at this Staples! So good that I will undoubtedly be back over and over again, even though it is not the closest location to my house haha. I was new at working with Staple's online printing services interface and was working against a deadline. I sent in the order late but called and asked to leave a note of urgency for the group in the morning. Before opening store hours I received a call from Hiral and her team, who immediately began working to accommodate me, and also offer great solutions to some issues with my order. I was able to pick up everything I needed on time, and it looked fantastic! What phenomenal service, thank you again!

Nice store to buy different computer accessories, stationeries, printer, phones and other school supplies. Good customer service, easy accessibility and a neat store.

Not perfect but a passable Staples store. Generally understaffed and the store itself feels slightly unkempt. Not the most pleasant shopping experience as you don’t feel too welcomed and the staff aren’t always around to help with locating products, check item availability, etc. Tech product pricing always seems a bit higher than other stores, but office/school supplies are decent Anna the main draw of this store.

I went in to buy a laptop. It was a last minute purchase. The staff was extremely helpful, and they wound up getting a really nice deal.

They don't have the greatest selection of office supplies when you're in a pinch, but any port in a storm.

Was just doing some back to school shopping for my sister, sadly they didn't have the piles and piles of 10 cent lined paper that I still use to this day from when I purchased it in Elementary school.

Business centre was extremely busy. We waited 30 minutes at least. Staff shouldn't leave for breaks when so many waiting in line

When I visited this location they were understaffed. I visited the last weekend before school started. The staff was also rude when I was asking them a simple question regarding one of there products. There stock on a product I was looking at was also wrong, there website said they had many but they didn't have any. One of the products price was mislabeled so I informed them about it and they didn't seem to care, all I received was a rude comment. One of the members on the floor I was chasing down, was ignoring my calls for there assistance and purposely avoiding me.

Overall my experience at this location was quite negative. I work in retail so I understand how busy it can get during these times but, why was there a need to be rude or ignored.

Went to pick up photos I ordered. Three clerks behind the desk talking. Totally ignored me then when another customer walked up to another part of the desk they serve them first. Unacceptable. Customer service is the foundation of any retail business Staples does not believe in this.

Went shopping with my grandchildren for school supplies.they had everything and more. Love that place

Went in to get some old pictures scanned and printed, was told they wouldn’t do that for me…. Even though Staples.ca says they do… alright!
Can’t count how many times I’ve gone into this store, as it’s the closest one to me, to look for printer ink. They NEVER have it.
When I ask all I’m told is “well, we’re out. ”
Also, if you show up anywhere within 30 minutes of them closing, they’ll all over you to get you out of the store ASAP.

This place is awful! We were there Friday July 9th 2021 and one of the staff members was extremely rude, he even threw our photos to the trash can and refuse to talk to us anymore, from now on I will avoid going to this place, other places have a 1000 times better service, I will NEVER buy anything from this place again

UPDATE:

Just to update this review, kind of embarrassing but this all exposed this stores customer service to us. We ended up going to Apple and the tech informed us that Apple laptops can't be jailbroken. If you have an Apple laptop you can test this yourself, go to the app store and download Pokerstars. There will be a warning pop-up that says:

"*** Security Warning! We have detected that your device is jailbroken. Using our app on a jailbroken device makes you more exposed to security threats and is done so at your own risk and discretion. ***"

This app and there are some more like it that put this warning on their products because they have not updated their software with the current IOS. The fact that this company has had many complaints along these same lines (Being told we are the third person) and has failed to investigate it what so ever to educate themselves is beyond frustrating and should not be selling Apple products. The whole customer experience, if anything is wrong, cannot be resolved properly at a Staples. So why not just deal with the source of the products themselves if you can.

BEWARE:

NEVER BUY APPLE PRODUCTS HERE!

We bought an apple macbook pro 13” saturday. We received a jailbroken device and tells us they CANNOT BE RETURNED BECAUSE WARRANTY IS GONE. So now we cannot even use the warranty we purchased together with it. It was not even our fault but I WE HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS!

Plus the mouse sold to us was a returned item. When we connected the mouse to the laptop it was named AJAY PAUL’S MOUSE.

If you are buying an apple product just buy it through APPLE STORE. My biggest mistake was not going there. Our 2000+ worth of items gone down the drain. You cannot be helped at all.

I am very disappointed with their service and never to return. I should have read the reviews. No wonder why they have 3.9.

I have bought my macbook air at a legit apple store and never had a problem. Bought it at staples, gave us a massive headache.

We felt ripped off by this situation.

Interesting today as I saw 3 shop assistants wearing face shields and no masks. I thought there were rules in place? They all said they had medical exemptions- I'm sorry but I've never seen so many staff in just face shields anywhere else the whole of this year! Face shields don't offer the same protection to others as face masks (worn correctly). Staples Country Hills please look after your customers!

Safety measures due to Covid-19 were in place throughout the store. Not as busy as usual and service was absolutely great at the till. I did also have to use their equipment to double punch holes in my documents. They are quite helpful to small businesses such as mine.

Placed an online order a couple days ago (Black Friday). I thought it'd take a while for them to fulfill my order, but I got an email sooner than I thought and my order was ready at a decent time. I pulled up to the parking lot, called the number and they came out within minutes!

Nice store.you can find pretty much anything you need here, from phones, to graphic cards, to printers.staff is always very helpful.the store in well organized and rarely have products out of stock.the only two complaints I have is the lack of variety in computer parts and the price of many products.if you can find it in the superstore right next to it, you can probably get it cheaper over there.

As other reviews have stated, I would NOT order photo prints from this location. The website makes you crop every photo for some strange reason. Staff not helpful with photo deadlines either. My photos should have been printed in 2 days but it took 2 weeks, AVOID!

I bought a chrome book for one of my kids online picked it up in-store and Phil was very cheery and helpful for when I decided to add the extra warranty. Will definitely go back to Staples in Coventry NE Calgary.

The two really petite Filipino ladies (one is older and the other is younger) who work there are great! The younger one was such a great help at the printing desk. Was super kind, polite and knew a lot about what she was doing. The older lady helped me navigate the store as I had no idea where to find what I was looking for. She was also very kind! I took one star off because the gentleman at the register kept making comments towards what I was buying. Why do you need two of these? This is really expensive for such a small product. It started to get on my nerves. Overall, I had a good experience at this staples.

I used to work here almost 10 years ago and things were good. Now nobody picks up the phone, nobody knows anything when you do talk to someone and you get attitude "Yeah like I don't know; maybe go on line to confirm if we have that item in stock. "

They had most of what I needed, but the could direct me to the staples that had the last items on our school supply shopping list.

Safina who works at the printing desk was fantastic! She let me edit something before she laminated it and took my information as I finished editing, and didn’t rush me or anything. Great customer service!

Please teach your associates how to behave properly with customers. I came today july 09 at 11: 30am to print using the self-service printer and I want to ask the woman that was in that self printing area who has an eastern indian accent, chubby. She rudely replied she is busy and can’t help me without listening to me or just tell me politely she would help once she is done at least.

If you need printing done - DO NOT GO HERE! Here is why: I don't know why Management cannot take the hint that their staff in the printing section needs more customer service training. Most of the reviews you see regarding printing at this location is negative. Upon picking up printing materials for a wedding, we realized that the cutting we requested several times during our initial appointment weren't done. When inquiring about this, we overheard a staff member instructing her coworker to charge $1.00 a minute for labour. That is absolutely ludicrous. On top of that, even after reporting the number of table number signs we needed to print, they printed 6 copies of each table number. Not only are they rude, but it appears they can't think for themselves. What sort of wedding has 6 of table 1's, 2's, 3's etc? This printing department is pathetic. It's too bad, you can't give 0 stars.

Unfortunately I’ve always had to deal with the most rude people when I come in to get things printed. I don’t understand how management lets their workers act this way. I work in customer service so I understand the importance of being treated fairly. The ladies at the printing area are the most impatient people & they make you feel like you’re bothering them when you come in to get services done. Even when they do things wrong they’ll give so much attitude. I recommend getting things printed at a different staples location! The ladies at the sarcee trail staples are kind & patient.

Shutout to Corey! My bf and I came here today and we were welcomed properly by other employees so shout out to them as well! Especially to Corey, who was very patient with us today. Most importantly, he didn't push us into other promotions and even made it so much easier to pay and buy a new computer. I can tell he understood our situation that we were only students and trusted us with our own judgement. Thanks Corey!

We were having problems with the printer and one of their employees named Moe, helped us a lot, we bought the right stuff, got home and finally printed the documents. Moe, was really helpful and nice. We were very satisfied.

Staples Country Hills, Copying Centre. I cannot thank employee Sam" enough for her product and equipment excellent knowledge and polite customer service! She is an excellent employee! I won't go anywhere else for what i can find at this Staples because of her!)

I have never shopped for laptops or accessories in tech before. Hiral helped me out, no pressure buying, she was really friendly and knowledgeable, and made the experience very easy going, especially during covid, she kept her distance respected my space and I felt like staples has it down for the new rules and guidelines during this pandemic. Overall a great experience.

Today, Monday morning, I got excellent customer service at staples Coventry early morning at 8am, all staff working at staples was very helpful, thank you and especially hours of operation early morning at 8am is very convenient and helpful for staples to attract more businesses,

Too bad there's no half star available, I cannot express how disappointed on Staples I am. I ordered a computer online as a present for my son's birthday, the expected delivery was Feb 28 to March 10, although it was past his bday, we thought it was a great product and it was worthy of waiting. I received an email TODAY March 10, the last day of expected delivery letting me know that this item is not longer available.

Always enjoy visiting Staples for office equipment and supplies! Friendly Staff and lots of selection. They will price match!

Found a cheap wireless mouse and used the printing stations which worked flawlessly but watch out as always tries to switch you to much more expensive color copies.

This is a great location. I always seem to walk in when Moe is working. He is a very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks Moe, for all your hard work.

Hard to use their website for purchase. Input information but doesn't show on the purchase confirmation. Their on-line purchase experience is very frustrating. Store manager cancelled the on-line order for me over the phone. I have to say: If you make customers feel convenient, customers will return you a business. Otherwise, Bestbuy, London Drugs, Amazon.would be better places for shopping.

The CPC staff are really good to work with, and the products come out great! (I've been printing out proofs to prepare for a larger order, and I am very thankful the staff assist me with my work. I'm trying my part to make it easy too!) It's really fast, and high quality work.

In-store, the products are clean, well-organized and it's easy to find everything I want. The location and parking are all great for this particular location- I have no complaints. There used to be clerks that I didn't like so much, but they're all gone now:)

Returns are easy both online and in-store, and everyone is just so friendly. I'm really happy that I can shop at Staples. While some item prices are expensive (but it's a large brand store, so it's not really anyone's fault), there are often sales- and I also feel like Staples doesn't nickel-and-dime me.

You can get nice things here. But to be honest, their price could be high. But you can target some items on sales. Each ever when you know you are getting something with high quality.

Great place for all your stationary products, and office needs. Too bad the service there was sub par at best, was waiting in line at the only cashier that was working, while these 3 ladies were just standing around chatting.

Excellent help and service at the in store print centre yesterday, December 18,2018.
This was after I received really bad service at the Sarcee Trail NW Staples print centre.
The service from the young lady behind the counter was prompt, efficient and friendly - my print job was completed in 4 minutes.
Well done to the great staff at this store - can you send someone over to the Sarcee store to train the manager and all the staff from her down, on how to properly and professionally service their clients - they really need the advice!

Business and printing station employee was very helpful in directing usage of the computers and printing. She probably answers the same questions a million times a day yet she was still polite, patient and considerate. Thank you.

Retail customer service in this city has been consistently sub-par to say the least. Nothing worse than a moody floor employee when you need assistance. Both of my recent visits to this location I was very surprised at the level of service I recieved.

I visited at 5pm, Tuesday November 20th. The business center was was lined up by the time I left. Would recommend arriving early.
