Easy to drop off returns. Staff in charge of the shipping/printing desk were also too busy to help and were talking to each other more than helping the customers in line. Staff in charge of printers were too busy talking to their friends in a large group to help.

I work in a camp so the only time frame I have to go to the town is limited, any ways I went to staples to buy a tablet, I asked 3 employees who can help me, but all they said is not their area, finally ask the cashier and she says there’s only one person who can help me and he was busy, after another 15 minutes waiting for him and not getting any help, I decide to go and try another store.
The place was pretty much empty no one was doing a thing but they don’t have or they dont wanna do anything extra!
I just loose almost one hour of my limited time, thanks staples

I always go here to get supplies and everytime I go pay for my purchase the cashier always speak a different language to her colleague in front of me which I find disrespectful.

Staples is staples. Electronics and photo copying when needed. Fort mcmurray this is a dedicated store to get all electronics and that’s it!

The print centre is incredible. The staff have absolutely fabulous every time I've used the service.

The employee kirat singh used vulgar and inappropriate language during my interaction with them, making me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. This behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company's professionalism. I would not recommend interacting with this employee

Service I received from one of your employees who wear turban (kirat singh) was terrible. When I arrived at the store, instead of welcoming me and offering assistance, he is showing attitude and treat treat as like we are Thieves

Went into this store in search of tiles for lost items. I was informed by the store associate that ‘there has been a city wide shortage for over 6 months’ and that no stores including the competition had these in stock.

I went to the source 5 minutes later and purchased three.

Poor advice

I was very disappointed with the poor service I received today. I was wanting to purchase a USB stick, but needed help with buying the proper one that would be compatible with my laptop. The female employees were trying their best to get me help. I was over 20 minutes waiting for help so I decided to go back to the counter for the 3rd time. The employee David was standing at the counter and he was asked by a female employee if he was free to help me and David with no eye contact said “no” and walked away from us. It was very rude. I proceeded to walk out of the building and the female lady did apologize to me on my way out. Someone seriously has to sit down and refresh David’s memory of how to be polite to customers. I get it employees can be extremely busy, but he could have been more polite about it. I’ve been in this town for 18 years and always went to staples and had excellent service, but today that one employee made it a very unpleasant visit.

Very rude poor service, was snarked at and talked down to. Not the first poor experience at this store, will be quite awhile before i consider trying here again.

DO NOT GET YOUR LAPTOP FIXED HERE. I got mine fixed and it came back with more issues. The screen is broken and my mousepad no longer works

Staff are poorly trained and do not understand what inventory levels mean. I went to staples tonight to purchase a specific laptop that on their website showed having 1 in stock. Upon arrival I met with someone on the sales floor to inquire. They informed me that if the website says 1 in stock that must be the demo model. I told them that is not how retail inventory works and if it says 1 available, that means there is 1 available to SELL. He didn't understand and tried to upsell me to a more expensive computer so I walked out. In the parking lot I did what I should have done in the first place and ordered the computer online for pickup. About 30 minutes later. WOW my order is ready with the computer that couldn't be sold 30 minutes ago. Folks it was not the demo model, it was in fact the 1 unit of retail inventory that was in stock. AMAZING! Staples almost lost a sale tonight and I would hope they use this opportunity for further training.

This review is more about the staff than anything else. I had shipping problems with an online order that was misplaced by the shipper. Ashley however went above and beyond at every turn to make sure I was taken care of. She turned a 2 star experience into a 5 star one with amazing customer support

We had such an amazing experience with our local Staples. We were looking to have a project printed and Danielle at the print centre, sat with us and worked us through the project and helped bring it to life! It turned out amazing, the service was outstanding and the project was affordable. Thank you to Danielle at Staples Fort McMurray!

Friendly staff and super helpful. Recommended a printer that I thought would have been garbage but it works great and didn't cost an arm and a leg!

Great store in theory. The staff are friendly and will ask you I'd they can assist. They're on the ball.
However, once you find that special item especially electronics.well, be prepared for it to be out of stock for months. (I attempted to pick up a monitor, laptop, gaming tower and even a mouse.)
With not one success.

The amount of workers present at the store you'd think they could open more than one register when the store is full.

We did a curbside pick-up which turned into going in the store. A good experience though, it was nice to have some explanation on the warranty program

Staff here are very friendly. They greet you the instant you walk in the door. They also have a lot of people on the floor to help you find items.

Staple was good and spaced for Covid standards but the selection was just not there. Using the staples website to identify what was in stock for quick pick-up was a waste of time as the web page was not updated.

Also.when I say I'm ok and don't need assistance, please don't follow me around the store.

Great staff, friendly customer service, help you with all your needs for home, office, supplies.

I work at Canadian tire across the parking lot and while we are building back the store the head manager from staples where yelling at our gate security about staff parking in the lot, note that we park back along the end of rows and try not to interfere with anyone who is trying to shop at staples, well anyways he has threatened to tow people who park, it wouldn't be so bad but they only decided it was an issue as the snow is coming down and has caused us to park really far away in the cold. I'd think there would be some respect or understanding when one company is trying to rebuild after a devastating flood...

Terrible selection of moderately priced wires. Like wires you can get on Amazon for 10 bucks for 30. The electronics are sometimes over priced aswell. But i suppose that's how you pay overhead. 4 stars, i'd still pick it over all the other places in town.

Management and staff are awesome. Only place I could find a 17 inch laptop. They will have what you need.

Great customer service. They know that people are frustrated eith Covid, drop in oil price and wow, the flood, yet they are bright, cheerful and very helpful. If this store doesnt have it, usually a two night delivery, curb side pick up. Very clean, staff in protective attire, someone always walking and wiping. This is my store and I'm proud of it.

I appreciate the service and attention to my needs when I come into the store. Staff has always been friendly! The online tech service is something high highly recommend. Saves travel, time and money!

I was happy with the service provided. Everyone makes mistakes now and then. Wile reviewing my wedding invitations I found information missing and had to wait again for the invitations to be fixed. Once they were done, I was Happy. Porter made sure I was happy.

Went into Staples earlier today. They had everyone wanting to go into the store line up as only two people allowed at once into the store. I thought I was in the Soviet Union during those 15-20 minutes. Soon we will all be lining up to get essentials.

My dad bought me a laptop, since I had to learn from home and do my schoolwork. The Staples staff at Fort McMurray said that this laptop was a new one and they gave us a used laptop. From now on people should never buy anything from Staples because during the Covid-19 pandemic they are trying to cheat their customers and make a false profit. From now on I will never buy anything from Staples.

Went looking for a new tablet and couldn't get any service. I asked for help a number of times but the employees were rude and refused to help me.

Don't waste your time, you're better off shopping online.

As far as a staples store go it's very standard. Good selection and clean. Staff I met was friendly and professional.

Got my new device early as I expected, staffs are very helpful and they gave me options to choose from.

I was at this store Yesterday to buy school supplies for my son, every year buying school supplies for my kids was a torture for me because these lists are long and either not very specific with the items required or too much specific so I was expecting the same thing to happen this year however thanks to Morgan (Staples sales associate) this task was so smooth, she was very helpful directing me to every item needed and also helping other customers. Big thanks for the great customer service it's making a big difference for any customer.

I am so thankful for Morgan's service today, she is great, very polite and understanding! I wish all people in the stores were like her. Thank you thank you thank you thank so much Morgan!

I lost my laptop charger on vacation and stopped in today in a mad panic to get it operating again. Liza assisted me and provided exceptional support and was able to determine the right charger I required. I’m back up running again - thanks Liza!

I bought a chromebook less then 3 months ago and it won't charge or turn on anymore.

I brought it back to Staples yesterday and I was told it would be shipped to Acer Burnaby where it would be fixed or replaced.

I got a call today saying it would not be shipped and I have to pay for shipping.

This company has no customer service and they will now also lose my printing business as well. A few $100 in the last year.

Do not shop here or deal with these people. I am a 42 year McMurray resident and I have never had a product that was not handled by or replaced when broken in such new condition.

NEVER SHOP HERE.

Love this store. Variety of collection. Steps away from Canadian Tire, Walmart, Rona and other stores. Staffs are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Bought HD for MacBook. It took sometime for staffs to bring the product from storage. So many staffs offered help during wait time. Product price is reasonable. There are parking including disables parking, for customers. Store is neat and clean. Recommend others to try this store.

Absolutely worst customer service in the copy center ever! Gave me the wrong information twice putting our Christmas card order that much more behind while my husband is on night shift and I am on day shift.they can not come up with a solution at all to their error instead except my husband to come to the store and get a refund on his credit card when all we want is the Christmas cards printed in store. So now he has to wake up inconveniently before his 2nd night shift drive downtown to get a refund for cards that were suppose to process 2 days ago! And all the guy, Scott I beleive his name was on the phone said was "okay" zero help zero solution

Love this store. Wide select of products in so many categories. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Prices were reasonable and some good sales going on.
