A staple location in the heart of downtown Banff offering the standards you expect from Starbucks, I can definetly say its a very busy corner but with friendly and helpful Baristas!

Appallingly terrible customer service. Was waiting 20 mins for a mobile order. After asking I was told 5 times (because I had to ask multiple times over the next 15 minutes) they were making it. The last time I asked I was told “go to the line and get a refund”. They never started my drink and had me waiting 40 minutes to get A REFUND, causing me to be late for an appointment I told them I was on my way to. I’ll never go back to this store. They don’t care one bit how they treat their customers.

Fast efficient service at this Starbucks 3 days in a row. The girls here knew what they were doing and they were doing it so well.:)

I might be late posting this review but we just visited here for very first time last month and of course we were there about almost when store was closing. One the staff came to lock the doors but still she allowed us to enter and place our order. ‘J’ was accommodating and the coffee was served great.

A busy coffee shop but worth going to. Friendly staff, quick service despite the amount of customers, and delicious snacks. The drinks were hot and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend.

Line up out the door, 8+ employees, only 1 person on cash, 20+ minute wait for a coffee. JOKE OF A STARBUCKS.

Very friendly stuff great drinks but the cashier kept calling me my friend several times. Didn't feel good about it

I moved to Banff in February and was super excited since the starbucks is right next to my workplace. The thing is this starbucks is never open and I've only been able to go one time since I've been here. I would have more chances to bus all the way to Canmore. And the only time I went, I told the girl my order and she could not get it right so I showed her my order on the app so she could copy it and still messed up my order.

I love turtles. Love them. But I also know we can have straws that aren’t paper and still save them. So when these lovely and kind ladies said they had a plastic straw for me - this Starbucks was automatic 5 stars. And of course they were all very kind and the service was quick so nothing to complain about.

The person who named Nathan he is the best I have ordered my drink and it took me 25min to get the drink he remember it’s too late n he apologize for the delay as well as upgraded the drink for me. All the staff working there is amazing.

Slowest service ever. There were only 3 families in front of us and we spent 30 mins in the line, because the stuff keeps chatting with everyone

I go to Starbucks all the time and I am always always greeted (even if it’s busy) This is the first location ever where I wasn’t greeted. She had no expression at all! She stared at me like I was a ghost. Not sure which barista it was but she had a tattoo (s) on her lower arm. Please! Do better specially when you have tourist coming in and out of your shop.

Not sure why this is the only Starbucks that you can’t use the washroom at. So shameful! Was told “due to Covid” (horrible excuse) and “ McDonald’s is just down the street”. Wow Starbucks! Also latte wasn’t good either.

Went in to pick up a mobile order today, which was ready an waiting for me even though they were extremely busy. Also just wanted to acknowledge the young lady working the front door today, as she was incredibly helpful, polite and organized even with the rude people not following rules. When i mentioned i had a mobile order she had me step out of the line and delivered my drink to me outside, wonderful service!

The cutest Starbucks! Love the team here - the note on my bag made my day and was the perfect inspiration to do some writing ️

Large seating and standing area inside the building but they have blocked it off with barricades so all 5 customers that are allowed in have to stand in an approximately 10' by 10' area. Very awkward and uncomfortable trying to stay 6' away from people when it's not possible, very inconvenient. I suggested to a staff member over a week ago that they could utilize the space they have to either have more people in the store or more space between people. Was back today and no change has been made.
Just another example of a company doing something completely irrational to look good in the face of COVID-19.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Davis! I usually put in a mobile order on the way to work and she is always ready with my drink & a smile! She knows me by name now and, although this is a small town, I think that is so incredible for a popular business like Starbucks! This is a tough holiday season for everyone and I can't put in to words how much I appreciate her attention to detail & kindness. It truly makes a difference! Thank you to Davis and all the staff at this location for being so lovely! Happy Holidays!

Love getting my 4-shot espresso with an extra shot of heavy cream. I use to have a sweet tooth but once I got on Plexus, I lost my sweet tooth. I still love the bitter taste of Starbucks though. This joint was well organized and clean. Everyone was adhering to Covid stuff so there was a small wait time.

Extremely slow service. If you value your time I would suggest going to a mom and pop coffee shop just close by. Not worth the wait.

Our server was extremely rude, pointing her fingers asking us to stay away. She messed up our order, had bad attitude. Her name is Tay. Poor customer service!

I’ve never had to wait 20+ minutes for a pre-brewed cup of coffee (pike roast). This is completely unacceptable. My normal drink is a grande americano with two cream. I understand this is a very busy Starbucks because of the tourism and customers -so I ordered a pike roast coffee. I’m still waiting for my PRE-MADE coffee inside a very crowded (not socially distanced) Starbucks. The barista on the till should have just poured the damn coffee.

Worst experience ever. Came in, immediately hounded with "it has to be to go, we are closing soon" then ordered. My dad asked for a double double, doesnt go to starbucks often, the barista said "we aren't a tim hortons, you can go and add the sugar and cream yourself on the counter. " And then I waited 20 minutes for my macchiato, after people who came after me got their drinks. Worst place for coffee in banff

Ordered 3 coffees and a cookie. Was told cookie will be brought to end of counter where the coffee line up was. Had to go back after 10mins to ask for it. Why should someone have wait for a cookie that's already made?

Great staff, they worked very hard to service a very large crowd on a hot day, and served us with a smile. We enjoyed our well made drinks. Thanks.

I come here for the hot chocolate.very good! Dark or milk chocolate selections. They will also add whipped cream if you like.

Awesome. Watched the champions league final here and the wi-fi was excellent. Thanks Starbucks. I will buy something next time, I promise.

It looked like there was some staff training happening however, two people making coffees and three people taking orders and chatting whilst up to twenty people were waiting for their coffee is just not on.

The barristo who was chinese.was the quickest coffee maker ive ever seen and ive been to alot of starbucks

I love me some Starbucks, and I love the customisation possible for my drink. It was a nice surprise to find this location has a clover machine. If you've not tried one before, check it out. It's a really cool process. I also like that this location has the black bag small batch coffee beans.

Big shout-out to the girls of the Banff Starbucks Emma, Louise and Daisy. My bf and I went to Starbucks today to get some work done (WiFi and plug-ins are always a reason to visit, beside the Frapp I’m addicted to). It was sooo crowded the whole afternoon but all of them stayed calm and friendly and we’re still fast and efficient. Could always see a smile on their face and very polite when it came to apologizing (something with the Frappucinos did not work). Great service! And I also tried out something new: the Peach Citrus Tea Lemonade, very good, eh!

Can't go wrong with Starbucks! Customer service was sub par at the time I went but overall the product was consistent with the Starbucks quality which is really what matters when it comes to coffee.

Went twice for chai tea latte and was great both times!

Not up to par for being a Starbucks Reserve- very disappointing service during my stay in Banff. I ordered a Nitro with Cream along with breakfast for two and another drink. The Nitro was delivered without the cream - the server seemed confused when I explained I had ordered the Nitro with sweet cream, she seemed annoyed added the cream without care. I couldn’t taste anything sweet about the added cream. When adding the cream my lid was taken off and placed upside down on a dirty counter. Overall the store was trashed and not well maintained.

The store clean is not kept well. The store may need more people to operate proper service quality. There are too big variations among people (I.e, someone is very kind and super eager, the other may not have any intention to deliver service eagerly). Also, today, one Asian employee (man-after eye contact) skipped my order in the line, and did not say any expression about the mistake (?). I just want to say the store. Service quality control means that all services do not show any variations. If your customers feel that the employees show big variations to deliver their service, the manager does not work in the store. Anyway, most people are good, eager to deliver their service, and show the standard service. I deducted one.
