A partner at this Starbucks should be trained what their company’s stance is. My friend and I stopped by this location yesterday to grab a drink, and to be honest it was pretty uncomfortable what the partner did to my friend. She took my friend’s order and asked her name as usually they do. When my friend told her her name (it wasn’t an English name), the partner at the front immediately went “Are you Chinese? ”. I WAS SHOCKED. My friend was nice enough to answer that question but I was so mad at what this person was possibly thinking while doing her job. Shouldn’t Starbucks be committed to upholding a diversity of any culture? Race? Ethnicity? Religion? Gender? That kind of question is never okay and should never be allowed to ask whatever your name/colour are. It is just not okay. I really wanted to say something to the partner there, but my friend didn’t want to get the employee into trouble. I used to work in customer service, sure used to get those kind of questions from customers a lot, but you are the employee who works for Starbucks. You should learn and be more sensitive about it and don’t ever be a racist. Nobody, but especially employees who work in customer service shouldn’t allow to comment how people must look or what their name sounds like. If I met her many times, if we had some conversation before or I was regular there and then the question came out? Well sure I might have answered depending on the situation.
But you NEVER, EVER go “Are you Chinese? ” right after you look at customers/ hear their names. I’m never going back to this location again. Please educate yourself. And Starbucks should train their employees better. Her name was Quincy or Queenie. The name tag she was wearing was so small so I couldn’t read it right. She was working around 6pm Wednesday. This shouldn’t be allowed.

No foam shouldn't be a menu or customization option if you can't give me a drink with no foam. For how much a drink with milk costs here you should be able to take 2 seconds and make the drink I ordered and paid for rather than the drink you think I should have ordered instead. Not impressed.

Honestly this place is usually great, but the last few visits have been horrible! Waiting 20+mins for a mobile order and watch so many people who go to counter to order after you get their drink. I had to ask to have my drink made after 20mins. Not great. Especially when on your way to work. Very annoying. You need a better system. I honestly think they are pushing the easier drinks ahead. But a cold brew isn't even a difficult one.

Except from one staff’s coffe, my pour overs are usaully not hot enough or sometimes cold; also, not sweet enuogh. I order 5 tea spones of honey (matching 5 satches), in the L size. In other stores it is as sweet as I need it, but in this store 5 honey are just mot making it sweet. So, it has been a dalema for me to figure it out. I don’t know maybe it is hard to squeese the honey out of pack when it is cold, but then I would change my honey service method, such as having a large bottle honey at room tempreture just by my coffee maker.
I enjoy making great coffee fir my self and family, and you guys get to work in Starbucks where you have some of the greatest coffee and equipmetn at your disposal; why not make great coffee!
In all, that was my problem of not finding a staff who pays emuogh attention to details when it comes to making my orders, and not finding a staff who is not surprised when I ask about what should be well-know part of buying coffee at Starbucks such as Starbucks Reward Card.
And finally, it should be common sense that I shouldn’t have to ask for a stopper or a sticker or any heat sealer since I am ordering a Large coffee which I always get Large. It should be common sense that I take longer time to finish my Large coffees amd they get cold without a heat seal. It is usually too load instore and hard to communicate. That is also the case in other coffee stires and resturants. It is just load and annoying, but that is aduffetent issue.
Unfortunately, these kinds of problems are not just in this Starbucks, but in more then half of the Starbucks stores which I have been to.

Zee is incredible! Her service was fast, super friendly, and she just put a smile on my face! It’s awesome people like Zee that give Starbucks a good name! Love this location, awesome crew, not just Zee, but today she made it special! Will always come to this Starbucks for my coffee!

Store was packed with people. 2 people making drinks, long waits, incorrect drinks. I could go on, but it’s pointless. Starbucks has lost its way. Used to be a great place to go, now they just want you in and out, and 7 dollars poorer after getting a drink (in this case, my drink was made wrong, but after waiting almost 15 minutes, I didn’t care).

Absolutely worst customer experience, the manager was rude, they charge milk for your americano! So a grande americano with milk is $4.99! Lol and of course the coffee is burnt! Save your money and go to a local cafe that values your business and is at least nice to see you!

It was not busy when i came in but had to wait more than 20 min for my order. When i asked barista about my order, she could not understand me well. She said she will check and she disappeared. After another 10 min, i asked the other staff about my order and got it. No one said sorry for mixing up order. They just said “we will make one for you right now” after 30 mins of waiting and asking about my orders, that was the response i got, and Good thing that i ordered through the app, because no one knew where my order went. I guess order gets mixed up pretty bad at here due to the large mobile order volume and staffs who doesnt communicate well enough. Will not visit here again. Worst service compare to other Starbucks and even other coffee shops.

For weekday mornings rush, place your mobile order 15 min before pickup. Not friendly when I asked for an update for mobile order.

I come by here all the time before work, but I think the service has gone downhill. It takes a lot longer to get my order now even when it's not that hectic. Good location, though.

When the barista went to call out my order, I found to my amusement that it was to a Ratmond. Now I have a new name in my friend's contact list. Highlight of the day.

Pros - Convenient location (near the train platform), with multiple plug outlets along the bar seating area. Great for business/people watching. Great for shoppers / grab & go.

Cons - Loud, frequently busy and bustling, lineup can be out the door and it gets too crowded when it’s busy. Very tight location with limited seating.

I’ve been waiting here 15 minutes for my mobile order. Even walk-ins after I’m here got their orders. And they didn’t follow my instructions to make it warm instead of hot. I’m extremely disappointed at this Starbucks location at the core and I’ll never order anything here again.

Just got the most humiliating experience, some minutes ago I ordered from my app and went in to pick my order, when it was apparent the barrister closest to me would not acknowledge my presence, I beckoned on her that I wanted to pick my order which was right there and I mentioned my name. And she asked ARE YOU SURE? I was so confused as this is my regular store, and no one has ever asked that before.ln my head I am asking myself, does she mean if i am here to pick someone else's order or what, or do I not know my own name? I would not like to play the race card here but that is what it seems like! That question is rude and uncalled for.

Before i stopped working in down town i would always stop here on my way to work for my morning coffee. (and sometimes back for my lunch coffee) Always prompt service, my drinks are always correct and made correct to order: Staff has always been so incredibly polite, complimenting me on my make up or my ever changing hair colour n nails. When i dropped 20$ in change a staff member helped me pick it all up. My favourite starbucks in calgary. So grateful for the kind staff here. Always brightens my day.

I ordered drink and stated clearly not to put ice at all. When i got the drink it was full of ice. Complete disrespect and ignorance of customer instructions. Won't come back ever again

We asked for espresso with milk, but barista decided to save on milk, so she put just a few drops of it. Didn't ask how much milk I prefer, just decided to almost skip on milk. I wonder if they think I bought cup of coffee for $5 and not going to taste it afterwards?

Greed at the clients expense, and plain rudeness to give such end product. Not coming back.

I love this location! The staff are amazing! Always greet me with a smile. Best customer service I’ve ever received! Also were very understanding when I explained I had sent my order to the wrong location.

Amazing staff, on top of regular customers, such as myself. As well as keeping things moving quickly even with a chatty person like myself probably slowing them down. Friendly, and great service!

I had the most friendly barrista. Her name started with a V and she was working the cash register at 1: 40 pm on Wednesday November 6th 2019. She should be acknowledged for her excellent customer service!

Understandably, a very busy location, their Barista work very hard because the orders are none stop all the time, I have never seen them idle. If there is hard working Baristas to tip, these would be the ones. I would avoid visiting in person to order, the line ups are perpetually long, order by Mobile and give them an extra 5-10 min before arriving to pickup. Nice staff, if they mess up a drink, they always remake it promptly.

I had to walk away from my coffee. I understand, that it's busy. All the mobile orders get filled, really fast. In store.you're waiting for at least 10 minutes if you're lucky.

Lmao soooo here’s the tea. If you buy an espresso drink and use the milk and cream things that they have there for the CUSTOMERS to USE, it’s apparently called “STEALING” and you get confronted for it in front of everyone and they have noooooooo problem saying it out loud too.that’s the best part.:) I guess the cream and milk is only for display

Saw some kid grab the chocolate powder shaker and shake/put it in their mouth then put it back, and the staff did nothing. Not giving 1 star due to this being a busy location, and that my frap did not taste bad but they gave me some weird sprinkles when I wanted ribbon crunch ones

There’s always a line up - so they’re busy - but it seems luke there isn’t enough staff to also keep the cream and milk stocked. Also, one of my pet peeves is that I order a small/“tall” coffee in my own mug and EVERYTIME they fill it up to the brim. I’ve asked to have it be a true tall but it’s just not what they do.

It's an okay Starbucks but not the best. I always get green tea fraps and the ones from this place are always dry as hell and then becomes a yucky frost instantly. I guess they're adding way too much ice vs the liquid.

The staff there was very helpful, the lineup was long but they apologized when everyone gets to the counter.

Always had the big smile on their face. I love going here and will continue to go there.

I will recommend this place to people who want to get coffee around the spot

Sadly must've hit a bad day. Ordered a Venti Iced Caramel machado quad shot and a tall flat white. Got a hot venti macchiato and no flat White. They said "someone must have taken them. Kept the hot Machado and they made me a grande flat White. My kids arrived so I bought them two more drinks.they NEVER came. Went back to the barista and they said "oh somebody must have taken them " must have been 40 min of waiting.
