Starbucks

A very busy place which left me with the strong impression of an institutional assembly line of beverages. They may be good beverages, but there is no time for any sort of personal connection. There are ten more drinks piling up on the order list

This is by far one of the best Starbucks I've been to. The dude behind the till, Lance, was super friendly and appreciated my sense of humour. Very polite and helpful. If you sit by a window or outside, the views are unparalleled! You can also use the app to get some Starbucks points, because you can't use it at the Safeway across the parking lot. I will always come here when I'm in Canmore.

As someone who works in food service myself, the staff at this location provide excellent customer service and are so nice to have a chat with before I go to work, especially Nolan and Kimmy

Quality of the beverages and food is always good but unfortunately the brutally long wait times and so/so service negates the experience. I'm a long time Starbucks patron and this location is by far the slowest I have ever experienced. Always.

Very good Starbucks experience. Whenever I get drinks here, they’re always perfect and the staff are very nice and friendly.

Starbucks coffee is excellent. I like that they have almond and oat milk since I have dairy allergies. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I feel welcome and treated like family.

Team were doing a great job, slight error with our order but the manager handled the issue like a champ, great recovery and well managed

People giving 1 star are tourists/people from Calgary who does not understand how short staffed Canmore is! If you cant wait 10 minutes for some drinks just do online pickup ahead of time or make it yourself at home!
I go to this store all the time and I always have an excellent service! They are always doing their best! Roberto is always smiling and willing to help! Keep it up guys!

Big store, well organized. Staff were friendly and drinks were delicious. I would recommend this location for sure.

It’s the view that makes this Starbucks special! Honestly, if you’re a Starbucks regular it’s all the same. The cafe was clean, internet was fast and the staff/service was great. Overall, great location in Canmore for a coffee and work break if you need to answer some urgent emails whilst on vacation.

Was very unsatisfied with my order of a "small" Strawberry Frappe. I don't see how asking for no whipped cream and less ice would mean I would get a half filled cup. I brought this up to the barista, Aya, but her response was " This is what you get with light ice and no whipped cream.

Pretty good they were really busy but they pumped people through pretty quickly. Only thing is the one running the till did not listen well and was not very knowledgeable.

I asked for a large Puppacino for my 8-1/2 month old Bull Mastiff/Boerbol cross and they were more than happy to help out.

Very friendly service. Didn't have to wait very long for my breakfast sandwich & coffee. Both were hot & delicious. Will definitely be returning on my trips through Canmore.

I wonder why their drinks do not taste the same with starbucks everywhere else. I ordered my regular drinks: caramel macchiato and green tea latte. Both tasted so differently. Maybe because they are busy chatting? I don’t know.

I'm pretty disappointed with this location. I understand waiting but they ignored the people inside to do mobile orders. I understand waiting but to flat out ignore people inside and only do mobile isn't okay. We waiting 15 mins inside just to order.

Very rarely go to Starbucks anymore, but I went yesterday and ordered a white hot chocolate. When I noticed the till screen said "white mocha" I asked if he got "white hot chocolate", just to double check, and he reassured me he did. Sure enough when I got outside I noticed the cup said mocha on it, and it definitely was. I would have taken it back but I had already waited awhile, and it was pretty busy. Also pretty sure they were over their capacity limit as there was not 6 feet between anyone in the store. I'm not usually one to complain like this, but it's not like my order was even complicated or anything. It was 1 hot chocolate, pretty disappointing they can't get such a simple order right.

Little disorganized with where to wait for your coffee while trying to maintain the 2 metre distance from everyone.

The service here was amazing. The staff were pleasant and funny, and the drinks were always perfect.

Good Starbucks location. Friendly service and coffee is on par with some of the better locations.

Expensive but tasty - love the mobile ordering app. Wish there was more stringent controls on cross-contamination.

Be mindful of mobile orders here. They often take up to 20 minutes to make and they’ve mix up some of our drinks with other orders on several occasions.it wasn’t until we got home that we found out not all of the drinks in the tray were ours, only to be told to drive back to get a replacement. Thanks, but the point of mobile orders is a) expediency and b) see #1.

They hire special needs employees.what else can I say but thank you for giving back to the community.

Great place to take a break on the way to (or way back from) Banff.  Pretty much like any other Starbucks. They have a seating space outside which can be a great place to relax and enjoy your coffee/tea.  The staff was good and friendly.

Went there to buy my Pumpkin Spice Latte and let me tell you. Staffs are amazing. Hands down to Lyall at till. Her suggestive selling is on point, she convinced me to have another shot to my drink. Anika and Emma are doing amazing job at making drinks. Their customer connections are on top. Lindsey’s maintenance on the lobby is really great. Chairs and tables are organized. The condiments area are cleaned every time. They deserve 5 star. Definitely will recommend this store to friends and family.

J'ai arrivé avec un ami a Starbucks le 21/10/2019 a 5h30 pm on a demandé deux boisson chaude par hasard j'ai ramènè avec moi des croissant et j'ai demandé au serveuse de le réchauffer, mais malheureusement ils a refusé il ma donné une excuse que il ya pas de micro onde? Comment ya pas un micro ondes c'est vraiment on a choqué de ce service et le problème que nous sommes des clients réguliers.

Came in on a slow evening, not busy at all. Ordered a coffee and a wrap. Coffee was not hot and they forgot about the wrap too! When I finally reminded them of my wrap, it was boiling hot. By the time the wrap got better, my coffee turned cold! The only upside was the $4 gift card that they gave for their poor service, but will definitely not use it at this Starbucks again.

Really talkative and welcoming! Took our order, was very quick. Coming from US though, the mobile order did not work, and we were pressed for time.not sure why this was. But, at least it gave us a chance to talk to the really nice barista about the area! There is a reason for everything =]

Always have such wonderful service at the Canmore location. The lineups are quick and the quality of coffee is always top notch. We always make a point of stopping in when we drive through the mountains.

Even when they are busy the server should listen more carefully to what your order especially when you have a dairy allergy.
