What an amazing store! If I won the lotto, I may not say anything, but there would be signs, like having a yarn room with stuff from here. The variety of yarns and thread is fantastic. I love how vibrant everything is.

Great staff, love the displays. I came for a craft night with a friend. I'll be back for sure!

Stash is absolutely amazing! I cross stitch and knit, and am always able to find what I need. The staff is so lovely and has helped me numerous times. Queer friendly! I feel so welcome in the space! Always my go to store for my projects!

Disappointed. Needle selection was disorganized and lacking some sizes. Yarn was over-priced. There was a lack of local producers.

The staff at STASH are so helpful, welcoming, and just lovely overall. They gave me and my sister great advice on what to get for our fibre projects. The local hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns are very cool to look at.

I am so happy with the speed at which my order was processed and shipped out! It was packaged beautifully and I received a little free gift. Of course the yard is gorgeous, their website has many photos and details so there are no unpleasant surprises when you get your package. I’m looking forward to placing future knitting supplies!

Nicole helped me calculate how much yarn I needed and she was spot on, I would have been short by my own math, but with her help I ended up having just the right amount of yarn for my big project. Ok so this place was a stretch for me. I needed yarn for a project at work and I hoped there might be a small polyester skein that I would be able to quickly find, but this place isn't like that - there is fancy yarn everywhere! Loved the experience and I should have gone to Michael's but happy to experience this great yarn store - this is better suited for those making seriously beautiful clothes:) When I get into that phase of my life, I'll be a regular here. Update: came to buy some felting fibres (new phase in life). Limited colour choice, but so happy I found what I did. I'm going to have to source out friends with sheep to find what I want now.

The staff is so friendly and helpful here and they carry such a great selection of stuff! This is my favorite yarn + fibrework store to support.

Friendly staff, more yarn than anyone could possibly but use, however any knitting, crocheting, weaving, needle point lover would sure love to try. As well they have patterns available too.

Great shop, friendly staff and lots of variety. The only reason I put 3 stars is because the crochet hook I bought is very low quality. I was really excited to try a new hook, but after 4 days of use the hook came off and the handle is completely discolored. I regret buying two.:/ I will definitely come back for yarn though!

The workers are all so nice and helped me out. I was so excited when I phoned and they said they had what I needed. Their prices are good and there's a wide variety. Will definitely be back for more supplies.

The staff at STASH are so welcoming and helpful! Always willing to listen and recommend specific yarn with so much knowledge. I also love that they carry local/Canadian brands. I recently moved to Calgary from Toronto and I’m so glad I decided to give this small shop a try. Will definitely be my go-to from now on:)

Their staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Went here for gift shopping for family members. I am brand new to any knitting or crocheting so I had some interest in what they had in the store but little to no knowledge. After lapping the store once a staff member approached me to ask if we needed any help, I explained I was Christmas shopping for a crocheting family member and she walked me around the store making lots of great suggestions. Even with a budget of $25 I was able to walk out of the store with a lovely yarn soft yarn and very nice crochet hook so I was pleased. If you had a larger budget I could see how you could certainly spend a lot of money here, some bundles of yarn I saw were $38 dollars and the cheapest one I saw was around $9 but I think I missed 1 of the sections of yarn. The staff were great and the store was pleasant to look around with large selections of options. We spent probably 15-20 minutes in the store but we didn’t see everything. I think I will certainly be back in the future to get some supplies or maybe a nice yarn.

So impressed with their customer service. I had bought an additional ball of wool for something I was knitting, and it didn't match to the other wool and they refunded all 3 balls of wool which were already knitted. They have my full loyalty.

Heading into STASH is like walking into a makers heaven. Everywhere you look there is a lovely + friendly staff member, a beautiful project on display, and endless opportunities to create. I do a stash trip every few months, and I always leave feeling like I've TREATED myself. From luxury/artisanal yarn to every tool under the sun, to the many different crafts they have on hand, they've got pretty much everything you might need and will definitely want. Love this place!

A fantastic place for handmade lovers! You can find amazing yarn of world known brands, needles, hooks and a lot of other nice things! Friendly assistants who are real enthusiasts will help you to choose. It's the place you don't want to leave!

My sister and I went to this amazing shop on Saturday. I cannot say enough about how incredible they are here. I was looking for a cardigan pattern for some very special yarn I bought while in Scotland and the wonderful lady I spoke with went above and beyond to help me find the perfect one!

They are currently closed, so sadly I couldn't go in to browse their selections in person, but the pick-up is so easy - no complaints with that! I bought the lemon punch needle kit. It is super cute, but didn't come with instructions so I had to study a few videos.

A huge selection of yarn and needle craft supplies. And I enjoy the kits you can get for felting and embroidery. The staff has always been really helpful.

Was my first time here. We went to find macrame supplies.
The selection was very small and verrrry expensive. We found the same items On Amazon for a lot less and at Michael's for a bit less. Michael's has a much larger more inexpensive macrame section. The store was nice and tidy and the workers quite helpful even suggesting using a library rather than buying a book. My grandmother does not have internet. Lots of yarn and other supplies but I suspect almost anywhere else has better pricing. Suicide to say we appricated the good advice but did not buy anything from here.

I've used STASH for fibres and classes and they do not dissapoint. I've had experiences at other yarn stores where there is a bit of an "in crowd" feel that makes it hard to learn and ask questions. Not here. Great staff, super friendly, fun little classes with strong beginner content, and always something cheeky to keep you inspired.

This yarn store is amazing for two key reasons: the staff and the quality/variety of yarn. The staff are incredible, on more than one occasion I have brought a project in, afraid that I had made a mistake, they looked it over, helped me solve the problem and gave me great advice. The classes are fun and informative and so worth it. The selection of yarn is great as well, if you aren't sure what to make you can always tell the staff what you are in the mood for and they'll help you find a pattern, pick the yarn and offer advice. I am a huge fan of this store and it has become my go to place for all things knitting.

I have been shopping at Stash almost since the beginning of Stash and I have loved this store. The efforts of the owners to provide exemplary customer service and gorgeous yarns has always been 5 stars. I have had issues with some of the staff that works there on a few occasions, however, Christine quickly got back to me and with her genuine caring and concern she made me feel valued as a customer. I would recommend Stash for all your yarny desires and it will remain on my list of favorite shops in Calgary.

Came for a felting class and had a great time! The instructor was encouraging and so positive. We learned a lot and had so much fun. The store is beautiful with many fabulous items to continue creating with. Looking forward to returning to shop and take another class. Highly recommend!

I visited Stash on Nov 29,19 to take advantage of the 20% off sale and because I was told they carry Fleece and Harmony yarn from a Canadian Mill based in PEI. I could not find any and was told they hadn't ordered any in the last year. This was extremely disappointing. I did purchase some other yarn and the staff were helpful and friendly.

I adore STASH! They got me into knitting with an awesome intro class and I've been hooked ever since! Yes, their yarns are more expensive than you would get a a Michaels or similar large store, but the quality and selection are second to none! I'm super pleased to have such an awesome knitting store with such an amazing community in Calgary. Go STASH!

I love STASH. It feels like home, if home is a supportive, welcoming, empowering crafty nirvana filled to the brim with good people and squishy, delectable yarn.

I came in without my pattern and the very accommodating staff member looked it up for me. I mentioned that I prefer to work with wool, but was concerned that the recipient might not wash it carefully. All my concerns were taken into account, and I came home with some lovely superwash merino.

Such beautiful yarn and more! So many different crafts they cater too. The store is very clean and bright. I love all the display and colors.
They also offer different classes that they provide all the supplies for.
Definitely want to get my yarn from here for my next project

BEST YARN STORE EVER! You will find everything your heart desires and then some. Be prepared to do some damage to your bank account here. They have such a beautiful selection of all weights of yarn and encourage all the squishing possible. The staff are all very knowledgeable, friendly and SUPER helpful. I love it here!

This store is incredible. Lots of selection with some great surprises. Yarn, felt sheets, embroidery supplies, needle felting supplies, collection of adorable buttons.

Stash is fabulous! The biggest yarn store in Calgary with a huge variety of yarns ranging from commercial yarns to indie dyed yarn. There’s a large variety of prices too so you’re sure to find something that suits your project budget! Veronica, Christine, and all the staff are wonderful!
