Staybridge Suites Red Deer North, an IHG Hotel

It was great to be able to do a large group booking here for the kid's hockey team. They grouped the rooms in one area of the hotel so that everyone can be close to each other.

The staff had IMMENSE patience as there were a variety of kid's teams staying in the hotel with kids who were too excited to go to bed at a decent hour. The staff gently dealt with the various kids that had troubles calming down at night.

There is a great pool and waterslide which is an essential item for large groups of kids such as a kid's hockey team.

The rooms are clean and each have microwaves and even come with dishwashers.

The hot breakfast is the morning opens at about 6: 20am and comes with waffles, sausages, eggs and Oatmeal. There are the cold items such as cottage cheese, yogurt, cereal, juice machine, three types of coffee and hot water for tea. The layout is easy to access and allows for people to get their breakfast items quickly. Remember to clear your dishes and bring them to the dish tray area. There is a fireplace and television that shows sports with the volume on.

Had a fantastic experience here. Room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. We loved that we had a room at the end of a hall to make it convenient for our pets and bathroom breaks. We stayed while we were between houses and having a full kitchenette was amazing so we didn’t have to throw away all of our food. Would absolutely stay again.

This place is full of amazing staff that are always going above to help others out I was dealing with Mariel and essay and what was a extremely long day they made so much easier. I highly suggest staying here and working with these 2 and all the other staff to enjoy your stay.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at hotel. Hotel was clean, new and modern. Suite made us feel as though we had our own little apartment. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Beds were extremely comfortable. My kids loved the swimming pool/hot tub and water slide. Breakfast had a variety (muffins, toast, bagels, cereal) including hot food, (omelettes, sausage, sausage patties, baked beans, waffles) and fresh fruit. The kitchen staff were awesome! (They even made my kids waffles which made us feel very at home). Our stay at this hotel was during a weekend where Red Deer hotels were solidly booked due to a number of competitions and tournaments. This made finding a vacancy or an available room (if not previously booked) almost impossible. Unfortunately, the day before we were leaving we discovered a booking error on part of an 3rd party company. The error cut short our stay a day earlier than intended leaving us between a rock and a hard place for where to sleep that night. Maricel the supervisor of guests services was our lucky star and once informed of our problem, stepped up to the plate working diligently to resolve it. Maricel immediately extended our checkout to the latest possible time (thank you also to the cleaning staff who were wonderful and adjusted their schedule to accommodate the error) which gave us the the time we needed to pack up while Maricel made calls to her contacts and networked to find us a room at another location. Maricel even followed up messaging me a few hours later to ensure we had arrived safely at the other hotel, checking to see if there was anything else she could help us with and sending hopes and well wishes for safe travels on our journey home. We were super impressed with the way she handled our situation and the level of service she provided was exceptional. Definately above and beyond her job requirements Her genuine care and concern was not only refreshing, but sincere, impressive and heartwarming. Good people are what make a company successful and it is especially important in the hospitality industry. Maricel is proof that this company has the best! Thank you again Maricel:) Your commitment to your job and dedication to your guests are an asset to your company that I hope is recognized. This is the kind of service that brings referrals and repeat business. We look forward to seeing you on our next visit to Red Deer and we will be delighted to stay again at The Staybridge Inn.

My favourite thing about the Staybridge is their suite, which means they have a full sized fridge, cooking area in the room and they give access laundry facility to their guests at NO EXtRA CHARGE. This is just fantastic! So remember to bring your groceries, laundry and swimsuit for a great stay!

Great location and service with clean rooms and awesome staff. The pet friendly property allows our whole family a hastle free get away!

Hotel looked modern, and well maintained. I like that the hallways were well-lit. My family stayed in a suite, and we were surprised by the no.of amenities included in it. Reasonable price for a night stay and a fairly good breakfast. Servers Rosita and Rowena were very cheerful and accomodating; made our morning quite enjoyable. Definitely choosing Staybridge again on our next visit to Red Deer.

This was my second time staying at the Staybridge and I had a very positive experience the second time around as well as the first.

The rooms are set up perfectly for short or long term stays, especially if you want to get your own groceries/do your own cooking.

The complimentary breakfast is excellent with good variety (some hot food, cold food) but that changed slightly every day so it is excellent for long term stays. They also have some muffins, yogurt, etc which is also excellent for some morning snacks if you are in town for work. The time that the breakfast is offered is quite accommodating as well - offering starting at 630 daily, even on weekends is perfect for folks here for work.

Highly recommend this hotel in Red Deer.

Miss Margie was approachable, accommodating and a good staff to the guest at the breakfast and social. While Ms. LA is a helpful staff at the front desk. She is kind and always smiling.

I would definitely recommend the Staybridge for a number of reasons:
1. It is pet friendly and has a really nice space behind the hotel for dogs to stretch their legs
2. The rooms were extremely clean. We got a suite with a kitchenette and it really felt like a small apartment but for a reasonable rate.
3. The staff are fantastic - great customer service. I unfortunately had some vehicle vandalism occur when I was in the city and the staff were very kind and considerate through me extending my stay.
4. The breakfast is great - nice variety.
5. Great location - it is close to a few common areas, easy to leave the city, and very close to great restaurants (Hash and Forno - walking distance)

I would definitely stay here again when I am in Red Deer in the future.

Staff was very rude and unhelpful. Kept getting extra charges on credit card with no explanation
