Booked duct cleaning through Home Depot. Do not recommend! The guy that came (not calling him a technician, that would be an insult to people who are actually technicians in the field of work) was very rushed, not through at all. He upsold me on cleaning the furnace blower and dryer vent (extra $60+$30) and it took him 15 seconds to do both. Also the package only includes 10 floor vents, you pay extra for anything above that. I have noticed my house is dustier now than before!

The technician was excellent! Prompt, thorough & efficient! Our carpets & love seats look terrific! He managed to get all stains out which was awesome! Would def recommend!

Shiraz is an honest guy and does great work. The companies administrative staff isn't so pleasant.

Shiraz provided duct cleaning services to our home. He was very efficient and did a great job clearing out all the dust in our ventilation system. He also answered all our questions and made sure we were satisfied with the work.

Had the misfortune of having this company subcontracted by Home Depot to install a tankless hot water heater to replace our old one. Probably a red flag that they seem to mostly do carpet cleaning, but hey, what could go wrong right? 2 months on and we are still dealing with issues caused by their refusal to fix their work and complete required permits. The “technician” that installed the unit, Grady, altered the interior venting in our home to accommodate our new unit. Ok, great. No changes to the exterior venting of the home during that initial install. One week later, the unit develops a serious malfunction. Contact the manufacturer and they state that the venting wasn’t performed correctly on the exterior of the home. Call Scam Dry, I mean Steam Dry, and the useless guy on the phone tries to blame the installation of our old tankless system. Even though Steam Dry already partially altered the venting. Ok that makes sense right? A month and half of going back and forth with Home Depot having to mediate, Grady shows up to properly extend the exterior venting as per the installation manual that came with the unit. Anyway, finally the venting is completed correctly (keep in mind this was almost 2 months after the original installation and so we were without hot water on and off through this whole process with no compensation for the inconvenience). Then the unit develops another error. We demand a different, properly qualified plumber come out and do the fix. The manufacturer finds someone who actually knows what he’s doing. Turns out that the new error is cause by a part inside the unit that wasn’t installed correctly. This guy is able to fix it by completely dismantling and rebuilding the unit. Wow. Hey at least it’s fixed right? Who knows what lingering damage that Steam Dry’s negligence will cause down the road, but I have photos of everything that Steam Dry did wrong if I need to meet them in court. Hopefully we won’t need to go there and the real plumber was able to save our unit from an early death at Steam Dry’s hands.

But the drama isn’t over yet. Now Steam Dry is refusing to get the required permits from the City of Calgary and claim that none are needed. Meanwhile, the City planning department confirms that a permit is required after I send them photos of the alterations from our old venting to the new venting. They point me to the city website where this requirement is stated in black and white for all to read. But sure, Steam Dry knows more about City of Calgary permit requirements than the City of Calgary permit department. Makes perfect sense right? I mean, they are obviously geniuses that rise above the rest of us mere mortals, as evidenced by their roaring success at following the installation manual that came with our water heater. /s

Bottom line: avoid this company like the plague. Expect to be condescended to, lied to, and be left holding a major liability bag over their refusal to take responsibility for their work. They’ll gladly take the $1200 installation fee from you though and then treat you like scum on the phone.

The only good things to come out of this: I learned more than I ever cared to know about tankless water heaters, and the shoddy work by Steam Dry’s assembly of the unit gave the plumber and the tech on the phone from the manufacturer several good laughs over how stupid the mistakes were.

I called last night and needed a new hot water tank asap, and Home Depot set me up with Grady. He was able to come today and was on time, super friendly and knowledgeable and very patient as the first tank he brought didn’t fit in my house so he had to travel across the city to get me a different one. He was still able to get it installed the same day and kept me updated. Would def recommend this him and this service! Price was reasonable too, I called around and got 3 quotes that was similar but the prompt service is what made me go with them. Grady was so easygoing and friendly too which also helped make easy, what could have been a stressful situation.

I had a good experience with a hot water tank installation, but for cleaning my furnace wasn't pleasant. They cleaned everything quickly, but the technician left the drain hose out and cause my furnace to drain water inside. I sent a message to the owner, Philip and he just ignored me.

Grady was great, he took the time to check and get everything done, was professional and gave good recommendations

Hired them through Home Depot to come clean out my furnace vents/ducts. We recently had renovations in the house and the vents had debris in them. I asked for a full cleaning (using a rotating brush and a snake line to blow out the debris) they said no problem. Tech came out and used an air compressor to blow some air around the outside of the vent entrance. Charged me $270.2 weeks later, I turn on the furnace and it’s not working right. Not enough air intake. Vents are clogged. Furnace motor almost burned out. And now there is a grinding noise that wasn’t there before. I call them to tell them. I speak to a female manager who refused to provide her name. She was hostile and defensive right out the gate. She insisted that it’s not their problem that I didn’t already know that they don’t have the tools necessary to do a full cleaning. She scoffed and laughed at me. Was full of attitude and so incredibly rude. Worst experience and service. Do not use these guys. They are scam artists. She sounded like she gets complaints all day long. They still haven’t called me back. My new filter, of only 2 weeks, had drywal chunks, wood shavings, some insulation and it was solid black. Only 2 weeks after they supposedly cleaned the vents. They falsely advertise, intentionally miss lead you and then attack you when you call to tell them. Now they won’t even call me back. Waste of money. Oh and they lie.

Terence did a wonderful job, he was so professional to clean our carpet. He was very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this guy!

Terence did an excellent job with our stairs and landing area that is frequented by our Bernerdoodle. Highly recommended.
