Stems Flowers and Cafe

The flower shop staff is very friendly and helpful, as for the cafe side the older brown hair lady is not friendly and rather rude to customers. The young brown hair girl is not helpful and abrupt with customers. Maybe this company needs to hire new friendly and welcoming employees. Customers come into the cafe and they are dealing with their health issues etc and it would be nice to see a friendly person.

Oh my goodness, already 5 stars even after a single phone call! Such incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. I am so excited to see the bouquet they put together, and will definitely have my business for an upcoming wedding (and any other events to come) Thank you so much for making my day today!

I went to pick up a flower delivery someone had sent for me, as I was out and about anyways. I must say that every interaction with Amanda was positive and lovely, right from the first voice-mail right up to leaving the store. You can feel that her heart and soul are in this business! My daughter who has autism was along and one of her very special interests is flowers. I asked Amanda if she had a discard flower that she could part with for my daughter. She took my daughter back to the refrigerator and gave her an entire bouquet of flowers. My daughter was beyond excited and it also warmed my heart as well! Highly recommend this business to everyone!

We were looking for a plant for a 1 year memorial anniversary. We couldn't find anything we wanted, but we decided to stay for lunch at their little cafe in the corner. It was great! The 2 ladies there gave great service and were super friendly.
The sandwich I had was very filling and like l would make at home.
This is a nice quiet place to have a coffee and/or lunch with a friend.

Staff here is very helpful and courteous. Went in looking for a specific color for a special occassion. The staff did all they could to help fill our order.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Courtnee, our florist, really did an amazing job with our wedding. My wife and I were very impressed with her work. She was flexible, communicative and attentive to the small details. She executed our vision more than perfectly. She is very kind and it is easy to see she is very passionate about what she does. You can tell she truly wants her clients to have their best day! Can’t say thank you enough.

Ordered a flower arrangement, they were accommodating to have it made for me In good timing. For an 80.00 arrangement I’m very disappointed to say the least. Time of pick up the flowers were already beginning to look wilted. The hydrangea looked dead and the told me it would liven up. No it did not. The same day the flowers were dropping to the floor. I work casually in a flower shop and do design so I know how this all goes. I should not have left with the flowers.

Such amazing people, they’ve helped with my obscure plant issues and they have some of the best styled plants and pots in store!

I'm sure the floral part of the store is great but the cafe side is terrible. They don't post their food anywhere and when you go they don't actually have the food made, or if it's made, but they don't have to go items. The food is great usually, but driving there, paying for parking, then missing my entire lunch break because they didn't have anything prepared is very disappointing.

What a joke! After placing an order online at Canada Flowers.ca, Stems was the flower shop that received my order. Although the customer service was fantastic (I was called to verify address, etc, the staff member I spoke with was very nice) the flowers I ordered were not. I paid 75.00 dollars (plus 22.00 delivery) to receive a tiny glass vase with little to no flowers. The picture on the Canada Flowers site showcased a basket with at least 6 roses, several different types of flowers and full of greenery. Mine was a joke for the price I paid (total of 2 roses) I will not be using this service again.

Friendly staff. Unique items to browse. Biscuit was freshly made that morning and it was delicious. Surprising menu, bake goods, sandwiches, paninis, lattes etc

The smell of plants and the great coffee and staff are great. Great gifts too. Let's support the smaller businesses more!
