A happening street…! The 8th Ave is also known as Stephen Avenue is a great place no matter what time of the day, month and year. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops etc.are in here. During Calgary Stampede and Christmas it is decorated beautifully. Definitely recommend to have a walk if you’re in town.

This is downtown Calgary. Cute pedestrian street with various shops, restaurants and bars. If you’re in town then worth going just to get the vibe of the city

I'm always a fan of pedestrian streets and Stephen Avenue is definitely one of the true places for hang out. It's a wonderful experience in city redevelopment.

Right in the middle of downtown there many pubs on the street level. Where the sculptures with the ribbons you will get access to the Skywalk and the CORE Shopping Center.

If you are staying near downtown, go have a couple drinks and enjoy the area. Close to multiple restaurants and museums.

It's a most vibrant pedestrian street in Calgary with lots of Cafés, restaurants and shops all along the place. There are street artists performing all time of the day and you can gind yourself is some good atmosphere here.

It was awesome I just found out that for years now I guess they have a clothing sale 2nd hand thrift type thing idk but I really enjoyed I got some gr8 clothes for even better prices check it out in sept it's across from good life

We went there about 8: 30 on a Saturday morning. Nothing open and lots of street people. Later on it got more lively. The turn-of-the-century architecture is worth the trip.

Lots of restaurants and tourist shops. I wouldn’t visit Calgary again, not much to see honestly.

This is not as interesting as it used to be. There used to be a lot more entertainment and happenings on this Avenue. We were disappointed.

No events going on this morning, but it looks like this would be a hopping place. Great architecture and design.

Move all the homeless on and stop the scooters. Someone is going to get hurt. Otherwise a nice street to have a drink.

Was nice, food options we're pretty limited to bar & grills.
A few vagrants around the area, so safer to stick to the street.
