Stetson GM

The buying experience was excellent at Stetson and I was treated well. I liked that small town feel. The experience with a dealership needs to go beyond the sales. They need to stand behind their service as well.

Had transmission issues with another one of my vehicle so because of my buying experience I decided to get it repaired at Stetson. After being told by the service department that a GM transmission came with warrantee (3 year/ 60000 km) the decision was made to purchase the transmission which end up costing over $7000 with installation. Approximately 3 months later I had issues with the transmission only to be informed that GM would not warrantee the transmission because they placed it in a rebuilt vehicle. An important detail that should have been disclosed when I was purchasing the transmission. If this would have been disclosed a different decision would have been made and I would not have waisted my money. Stetson did have the serial number for my vehicle to order the transmission so had access to this information which they did indicate that they obtained when I came in for the warrantee work. Now I have a vehicle with a $7000+ transmission that continues to have issues.

I would suggest questioning the service department. A customer depends on their advise and expertise when making these types of purchases. I would give their service a zero rating. Very unsatisfied.

flu hit our household leaving us unable to pick up our vehicle after it had some work done, and the service advisor was happy to ask if a few of the sales staff could deliver it to us. Delivery was made and we couldn't be more thankful.

Riley, Mike, Cassy and the entire team at Stetson GM provided one of the best truck buying experiences. Highly recommended and would send friends and family there without hesitation. I'm 800 kms away from Drayton Valley and without question make this trip again to purchase another vehicle from Stetson!

I had a great experience buying a new truck from Stetson.
I do not live near the dealership so the whole deal was put together over the phone. When the truck arrived at my house (yes they drove 1200km round trip to deliver it at no charge) it was exactly as shown and the price/payment was exactly what they said it was going to be. The team was honest, easy to deal with and responsive to all my questions.
Even after the long trip to bring it down, they still left me with a full tank of fuel!
This kind of service doesn’t happen often anymore. So even if you are not from central Alberta, I would urge you to call them if you are looking for a GM product.

The service department go above and beyond! It was a rainy night 6: 03 pm and the driver window of my work vehicle would not roll up and I was from out of town. I took a chance driving through the parking lot hoping someone from the department would still be there. Caitlin spotted me, and she and Tyler settled me down and kept the vehicle inside for the night and Caitlin drove me to my hotel. That is amazing customer service!

I was looking to trade in my previous vehicle of 10 years and was not having much luck with other dealerships. I contacted Stetson and asked if they would be able to help me, and within two days I was going for a test drive in the vehicle I ultimately ended up buying!

Vikki was absolutely incredible the entire time, she worked extremely hard to find the best vehicle and financing options for me and went above and beyond to work with me. My previous vehicle went haywire a couple days before the deal was even settled, and she let me keep the new vehicle for the night so I would still have transportation, which was amazing!

She even drove to me when I wasn't able to get to the dealership and got my new vehicle insured before I drove off the lot.

10/10 service, was EXTREMELY happy with my experience and Vikki is the absolute GOAT, would 100% buy any future vehicles from her/Stetson!

Purchased a new truck from Stetson! 10/10 experience! Vikki was unreal taking me through every step of the process, giving me every option, and being so very easy to deal with! Drayton was evacuated due to the forest fire half way through the process. Even with all the craziness going on she got me in the very first day of them re-opening and was the best! Bought a Duramax in 2002 and in 2018 a Terrain Denali. Went back as a return customer to possibly trade the Denali on a new one. Absolutely disgusted with the trade value they offered, Far below book value. Then wanted full MSRP on a new unit. What happened to customer loyalty? Never going back it was an insult.

My Colorado rearend piled up on me. I did not purchase this truck from Stetson Motors but Heather & team treated me as if I had. Their service is outstanding and I have decided to purchase/lease my next vehicle here!
