Saleslady (Andrea) laughed in my face.
That should say it all.

Offered $9,000 on a Ford Flex that needed an alignment, balance, tires, and a detail (posted for $12,000) worth $10,000.

I understand its a lowball and they had other interest, but I expected negotiation or a simple “I can’t do that price”
She laughed at me instead.

Embarrassing, unprofessional, rude.

Walked out on the spot.
I was led to believe from the salesperson that it was ready to go, had a deposit down and cash in the truck ready to pay full price.

Saleswoman would blank stare rather than speak, like she was waiting for me to get out of her hair the entire time. Test drove it, found a massive gash in the sidewall of passenger rear tire (they claim this happened after the detail because of tire shine, but rims show otherwise) and a shake in the steering at 90kmh (but the AMVIC or whatever said it was all good).

Immediately after leaving, they removed the vehicle ad. If a gash in a tire is unfit to sell, why let me test drive it?

Wasn’t going to post a review, but when I spoke to the manager to inform him of his staff’s horrendous behaviour, he just said it was silly that they held the vehicle for a lowball offer.

Save yourself the time, go straight to Carter at the Ford dealer next door.

**Update December 31**

We have been working diligently toward a resolution with these issues. Joe, the service manager, is working hard to help me rectify these issues, and to get my Charger fixed up.

The communication has improved significantly, Joe has been helping me troubleshoot issues over email and phone, plus I'll be bringing my car back in for the last couple of issues it has.

Thank you greatly for turning some of these problems around. Once I have the car back and if the experience this time around is better, I'll delete my one star review, re-evaluate and post an updated review.

Honestly, I hesitated to leave this review, especially having previously left a positive review in the purchase of my truck from this dealership, but I got pulled through the ringer dealing with the service department.

I had dropped off my Charger for some computer reflashing that the service advisor had said would take an hour or so, as well as setting the used odometer to the correct mileage (I provided car proof, the original cluster, etc and was told this would be no problem). Moving forward, they managed to rack up a $1400 bill for me between parts I don't believe needed to be replaced, as they were diagnosing a car with an apparently dead battery.

This went back and forth for weeks, then they got the parts and had it running, which they claimed was the first time ever.although I drove it off of the trailer and parked it. This being mentioned was met with an almost arrogant reply of nope, they seemed to know the car better than I did.

They also never once mentioned to me before coming that the battery was left dead and froze/cracked sitting outside, and that the car had to be boosted 4 times in one day. I'm feeling extremely frustrated with the whole ordeal. $1,600 and they returned my car with a frozen, cracked and dead battery, none of the signals work, the wipers don't work, and either does the heat.

The communication level is severely lacking, they're claims of the car never running are extremely frustrating, as they never once mentioned that fact to me until weeks after. I've been waiting on parts quotes from the service advisor and have got nothing.

This may be a decent dealership to purchase from, but honestly their service department needs to be dealt with. I'm a mechanic as its; a normal person may not feel cheated, but when you know the capabilities of their scan tools, etc, the issues, and have done extensive research.and spoke to other Dodge service departments.their poor attempt at a repair and the bill I got for a car that's far further away from being driveable, it's quite sad.

Will I be bringing my vehicle back, or any to their service department? Can't say it's very likely at this point in time.

Maybe if they admit they did a poor job, and their communication improves, maybe.

But to leave my car sitting outside in -20 with a dead battery long enough for it to crack? Thanks a lot. Another $270 for a battery in a car they did more harm than good. Not mentioning it for weeks and leaving it for the windshield shop to call and fill me in that the battery is completely screwed? Bravo, great job Stettler Dodge. Extremely extremely disappointed. Not even a paper copy of the bill explaining what they did.

Stettler Dodge is a great local dealership with friendly knowledgeable staff and is a business that always has the community in mind.

Ive been in the truck market for a while now. Looking all over western canada for a good deal. I found my good deal in Stettler! Living in the Yukon they made my experience fantastic. They picked me up from Edmonton airport. Dan Mundorf was my salesman and he was very knowledgeable about my new truck. We had a great conversation in the truck, thats when I knew he wasnt just a salesman he actually cared about his job. I would highly recommend seeing this small town dealer before the big ones in Edmonton and Calgary. When my friends want a new truck I say check out Stettler first.

BAIT AND SWITCH
I saw an ad on kijiji for a great truck at a slightly above value price that was located at Stettler Chrysler, the ad stated "We deliver anywhere in Alberta! ". I headed over to stettler from red deer to check it out and it was a nice truck, salesman was decent too. We haggled for a while and finally settled on a price $2000 below their asking price. I agreed but on the condition it was delivered to my hometown of medicine hat as the add so boldly stated. At this time the owner Kelley became involved, he informed me that this offer was only honoured for those who paid full asking price! As I walked away he tried to pressure me further by hollering about how many other people were interested in that vehicle. Its hard to do business with a place who's boss doesn't honor his word. Long story short I found a much better deal elsewhere and could not be happier. Do not waste your time making the drive out there.

Very poor service and arrogant employees except for the receptionist and general manager who both seem quite approachable. As with any Fiat Chrysler Canada dealerships, an absolute joke when it comes to customer service

Took my van in for an oil change and to have the check engine light checked. Was told it was the thermostat and we replaced that along with the oil change. Brought the van home and parked it over night.next day went out and the battery was total dead. I checked to make sure I did not leave any lights on or to see where the dead drain might be caused. I boosted it and headed into Stettler Dodge to see if they could give me an reason. The service people told me it was because it was cold outside.it was 4 c. I have lived in Canada all my life and know that a battery does not go dead over night in + weather. I felt very degraded by the service person and will take my dodge van and truck to Red Deer for their servicing from now on. I like to support local but with a service department like this place has I would rather make the trip and Andrew the service can person can keep telling people anything he wants because I will not be back

Great place to do business. I’m not a dodge person by any means, but the deal they gave my family in our mini van was too good to turn down. There was a couple small tiny hiccups, but the sales team was quick to ensure everything was fixed and done right. Plus they even put up signs to help protect the wildlife in the area. Great community drive dealership.

Lars was exceptional to deal with. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He knew the vehicle well and gave me a a splendid viewing in a low pressure environment. The big city dealerships could learn a thing or two!

Good dealership, So I thought. After 2 months they have totally forgot about us. No follow up whatsoever.
Disappointed to say the least.
I'm not sure that I got the best possible deal.

Excellent customer service, I have bought 2 vehicles from them. I will continue to purchase my vehicles from them! The service and parts departments are excellent as well, they go above and beyond for their customers

I've just purchased my second used vehicle for here. I don't believe I got a steal of a deal. But, it was alright. The truck I purchased is very very nice & I would Recommend them to anyone searching for a new or used vehicle.

I received a phone call from this company's business telephone number on October 13,2017 and the caller claimed to be calling me from a Calgary dealership and asked me for personal information. Very unprofessional.

Very over priced. Didn't explain the diagnostic cost if they couldn't find any issues. Won't be using this dealership again for both of our trucks

Brought in my truck to Stettler Dodge and was extremely satisfied with the service I received there. Thanks to Kate, Willem and Rhonda in the Service department. All were excellent to deal with. For future maintenance work I will be bringing my truck here!
