Stitch It Clothing Alterations & Dry Cleaning

I'm so unbelievably happy! I had a couple of tank tops that I picked up along a 6 month around the world trip 7 years ago, they are total one of a kind, and hold significant sentimental value to me.but since then I've gained at least 20lbs. I specifically looked up various tailor's and stitch it was the only one that said they specialize in this type of customization. I brought all 7 of them with the extra fabric (picked up at fabric land. 1 minute drive away) and did a couple measurements, and let the seamstress know that these were important to me and was hoping she could return them back to their former glory. A couple measurements later and I was on my way. I came back to try them on, and I was already happy with the way they looked, but the seamstress took a couple looks at me and said "I know the sentimental value these have, leave them with me for 1 more day, and I'll make it perfect". I went back the next day, tried them on again and, I don't know what kind of magic she pulled, but ALL of them fit and look and feel better than the days I picked them up from the various markets. I honestly couldn't believe it! I have love handles and an awkward body that I can never find anything that fits me right.and trying the shirts on. I honestly got a bit emotional because they fit better than any of the shirts I have. I'll definitely be back for more alterations, I'm looking forward to wearing them on my next trip and all summer long. Thank you stitch it. You've made a customer for life

Excellent service! I was in desperate need of alterations before a business trip. The ladies were very friendly, and even though it was close to the end of the day and they were busy, they helped me out and altered my pants perfectly.

The person receiving customers (not sure if she's new) is not very receptive and sometimes a bit rude.

Rayni Swaich did a perfect job tailoring all my pants to fit me and provided exceptional customer service.

She is very friendly, kind and outgoing and I highly recommend you get your clothes done by her.

I have been going here for 2 years at the time of this review and I plan on continuing to do so with the excellent services this place provides

Great people! They are professional and honest. Prices are reasonable and quality is superior to others. I can't recommend them enough. They even send a text when your order is done!

When I walked into your store just three hours before closing, I was expecting nothing less than 48 hours before my jacket was returned. But, I needed the jacket for work at 6 am the following morning. You understood my predicament, and I was given the jacket back half an hour later.

Dealt with the manager Raj who was extremely rude. I brought in 2 pants last week brand new same type just two different colours for shortening. Only tried on the one and asked for them to be the same size. After getting it completed they were 2inches different. Went back to the store to ask if it could be corrected. Raj started making accusations that’s I had changed my mind (as in wanted them at two different lengths) and that I will need to pay again because they did work on it already. I said that it wasn’t done properly and shouldn’t need to pay for poor work. Then she got defensive and so did I. Ultimately she refused any work for me and told me to leave or she will call security. First time out of the years of coming here have I experienced this. She wouldn’t provide me with any compliant contact information. Super frustrated by this experience. After calling back for contact information she had hung up on me.

The girl was very helpful and very kind and their services are very fast. I got my service done on Tuesday 20-12-2022

I was looking for pants for a Christmas party that I had procrastinated doing until the day of. Found a pair that fit but they were too long and I needed them that night. I called Stitch It with very little hope that they were going to be able to help me out. To my pleasant surprise they had no problem rushing the order for me and getting it done within 30mins if that! This is on a Friday during holiday hours too! Amazing staff and service, will be recommending this location to everyone in the future. Thank you again

Very bad customer service. No one approached me in the front even they saw me. I waited there while they are talking inside. Then the older lady finally approached me and she was very rude asking questions. And then she made me go in the fitting room to wear my pants to be hem and when I went out nobodys there she went back inside. I went out of the fitting room wearing my pants and she just looked at me and continued what she was doing inside. I decided to leave instead saying I needed my pants hem right away when they she told me I can pick it up saturday.

They are terrible. Gave a pair of work pants to get a zipper on the pocket and they sowed the zipper over top of the fabric so you can't even unzip it. They are supposed to be professional tailors yet I know 10 year old that can sew better. I will never go back

Very bad, last year they mixed my pants for Calgary transit, I went 3 times to get it, this year Oct 2022 they fixed 4 pants for Calgary transit but 5 th. Pant. They mix up and give small 30 inch but my size is 36. City of Calgary should stop the contract with stitch it. I don’t like service, go Sony else.

I can't express enough my frustration with this place! I dropped off company issued work pants (3 pairs) to be hemmed and waist opened up. I left pants there with this young gal, she said it would take 2 weeks. Fine! I go back to retrieve pants 2 weeks later and tried them on at home only to see that they where hemmed way shorter and the waist wasn't opened up. They cut the bottom to short where it wouldn't be possible to fix! I called the girl and explained.she sounded like she didn't believe me. I return the pants and was told it would take couple days. 2 weeks later I return again. Talked to the lady and she said they don't have them. I had no other work pants to go to work in. She searched for 10 mins and finally found the pants. Only to find that no corrections where done at all. The pants are still there I cut my losses and walked away! Will not return. The girl couldn't find original receipt or company work order.

The staff were so friendly and understanding, they were willing to make my last minute deadline work and were extremely skilled at figuring out the most cost effective and attractive way to cover the back of my dress. Definitely recommend!

Professional. Delivered on time. It took a little longer than usual to pick up my clothes but they explain this from before I dropped off. The timeframe was due to extra precautions that they had to take due to Covid 19.

I had the pleasure in dealing with Iman as the first point of contact. She was very professional and friendly! She made the process so seamless when it comes to knowing what I wanted.

It really helps when a business listens to their customers.

Additionally, the seamstresses also did an amazing job with the hem! I am so glad to be able to wear the clothing that I bought. It gives me great confidence to be able to buy longer pants/dresses because I know that Stitch it is able to hem it efficiently and professionally in a timely manner.

Very unprofessional staff and no customer service skills. Not only it took them a week to get the job done, they gave me pickup time when store was closed. I was actually disappointed with the attitude and then issue being put aside for "miscommunication"

I took a pair of jeans in to have the zipper replaced, they did a fairly good job on the zipper but I’m disappointed they didn’t finish the job. Left it completely open at the bottom of the zipper and didn’t restitch it properly. I don’t think I’ll get anything else repaired here.

Very friendly staff. My jacket was over two hours late, which meant that I had to make two trips. But the staff offered a credit, which I was very thankful for. They definitely didn’t have to do that, and I will be returning.

We always go to this store for all our clothing alterations. We did have an issue once and we contacted the manager through the email that stitch it sends out. The situation was resolved immediately. We felt listened to and valued. They are fast and do really good work.
