Stitches

Clothing store with bargain prices. The store also has shoes and jewelry. There is no public washroom but the store is in the Bonnie Doon mall so washrooms close by. The store is clean and well lit although it is worn down.

Purchased several button up shirts for a friend. Store is organized. Staff were friendly and it was a pleasant experience. No long line-ups.

Came to explore the Bonnie Doone mall. Was surprised to see a stitches, as i haven't seen one in years. Upon entering I got a tickle in my throat and as I walked in further it became unbearable.
The air quality in this location was terrible. I have never experienced something like this ever before. Uncontrollable coughing and with every inhale I could feel the heaviness in my chest. After walking just a few feet, I had to turn around and leave to catch my breathe.

I’m mixed with this review. I was in this store at the register next to a vile lady who was being nothing but rude, loud, crass, and just holding up the entire line. She was invading my personal space and yelling in my ear and I asked her to stop. She went on a freak out spree. ALL the amazing employees around were defending me because they saw the situation. When one woman (manager? I don’t know) comes up threatening to kick me out? While her employees are like what? Why her? She was SO unprofessional and then when I tried to explain the situation she had none of it and just keep saying I’ll kick you out. I was doing nothing wrong haha. I’m like disgusted by her lack of care and empathy, rolling her eyes and smirking at me, as if I’m not going to do something about it. I work in retail too hunny I know it’s hard. You are not meant for leadership. But SHOUT OUT to every other employee who had my back and knew that manager? Was in the wrong. I returned today for an exchange and was met by the same cashier I dealt with last night. She’s a lovely sweet and kind woman. Didn’t get her name but reciept says salesperson 00999 cashier 936774

Clothes are on the floor because the racks are crammed in now that half the building is a gym.
Pricing is the same if you were to go to an urban planet or another stitches. It's not an outlet anymore.
The cashiers need to learn to stop talking and do their job. You will stand in line forever while they socialize with other employees who are not even on shift.
