Stoneridge Mountain Resort by CLIQUE

My family and I had a great experience here; suites are ideal for family vacations. All required amenities, were provided.

We stayed 5 nights for our daughter's wedding. The 3 room suite was perfect for 3 couples and for the bridesmaids to get ready on the morning of the wedding. There was plenty of room for hair, makeup, dressing and photos. Service was exceptional. We keep saying that our entire stay and experience was perfection while in Canmore.:)

Everything about this place was exactly what we were hoping for - comfort, views, and location! We booked two 3-bedroom suites for our bridal party and we were able to comfortably fit everyone. We used one room for the hair and makeup for seven people and three stylists, and it did not feel cramped at all. We used the meeting room the night before the wedding and it also comfortably held about 55 of us - plus, we had terrace access for all these guests which everyone appreciated. Matt, Eddie, and the whole Stoneridge team were great with communication and showed excellent customer service. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice place is awesome. Nestled in a small town. Right close to town. Great views of the mountains. Staff super friendly, especially the front desk. She was fantastic.

The 2 of us stayed in a 1 bedroom King suite with Den - for any families looking to book, you could easily sleep 6 between the king bed in one room and 2 hide-a-bed couches in separate rooms of the suite. The suite was nicely decorated, kitchen well equipped, 2 full bathrooms. Fireplace was great for the evening, and having our own BBQ on the deck and in suite washer/dryer was really convenient. We called front desk looking for extra pans and we had them in under 15 minutes. Husband loved the hot tub, and underground parking was super handy. Great location. We had visitors come join us one day and the front desk was super accommodating by giving them an extra key card so they could also use the underground parking. Would definitely stay again!

Incredible place. The room was spacious and super cozy. We could do laundry inside the unit, which is great. Not to mention the balcony with a barbecue ready for use.

Also the staff was very friendly. We knew this was probably gonna be a good place based on other reviews, and yet we were still surprised.

The room was nice and the staff was very pleasant. The housekeeper did a great job. I was very disappointed upon checking in for my twenty-fifth anniversary vacation and denied my request (submitted the request months in advance) for a room with a Mountain View. My son had an unexpected nosebleed so we were charged for linens. A very disappointing end to our vacation and upon check in without the Mountain View I dreamed about experiencing for my milestone anniversary.

Resort was nice, coffee shop in the building was a bonus. Location was convenient. Kids loved the pool.

One of the best VRBO places we have rented. Spacious, roomy, lots of amenities. Great location.

The condos are nice and have good space. The middle courtyard and pool area is great. Really enjoyed the stay.

We’ve been going here for over ten years. We love the facility however after spending over $2000 for 4 nights this past Thanksgiving weekend, I was very disappointed to not receive any type of room service. Although all staff were accommodating and friendly, to be told they aren’t servicing rooms upon check in was a pretty big let down considering the very high rates being charged. Also called 3 weeks ago to request a room that was close to elevators etc due to one person in our party having accessibility challenges, was told to call back the day prior to arrival with my request and when I did so, was told then that there were only 2 rooms in the building with the type of room we requested - 2 bedrooms, plus den and they were at the farthest end of the building and a long walk from the elevator. Had I been notified of that 3 weeks ago when I called, I would have requested a 3 bedroom instead to make the visit more enjoyable and easier for the person needing this accommodation. I was advised in that same conversation the day before my arrival, that many of the units are now rented privately through Airbnb. I’ll definitely look at renting through them in the future considering the lack of room service with the hotel side. No point in paying premium prices without the usual extras you would expect from a hotel.

Booked for two nights in a one bedroom suite which costed 1150 after fees. They ended up charging an ‘upgrade fee’ which tacked on another 1150 to my final bill even though nothing about my room was changed. Unfortunately I did not catch this earlier and will be calling them. Hopefully this is just a mistake and not some shady business going on.

We have been staying here every year during the summer for the past few years.
Service depends upon who is available at the reception desk. The suites we booked are really nice and spacious. However the age of the building is very apparent

Our stay was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond in every way especially the service. The rooms were stunning and very clean. The pool area was very nice. It's great to have a cafe in the building. Best stay in canmore. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel with awesome views? ️ just loved it, room and patio was very nice, only thing i am giving them 4 star coz they don’t have good wifi at all.i stayed there for 4 nights, and it didn’t work well and also they don’t have big mirrors where we can see whole body and click selfies i hope they add that to rooms, overall it was good hope they fix these issues.i like patio the most and fireplace + they were giving sparkling water for free loved it.

Beautiful fully equipped rooms with gas BBQ, well maintained building, facilities and rooms. Nice hot tub and swimming pool. Unfortunately, no dining room. I guess your home made meals are better. Safeway is just down the street although you'll need to drive back after buying grocery. Very convenient location, "downtown" is within walking distance. Busses available as well but you need to match the schedule.

Stay here with some friends. It was a nice place but I found the bed/pillows werent very comfortable and the ventilation was loud and always running. The hot tub was great but the pool felt a little on the cool side.

Had a gorgeous, spacious family suite. The pool and hot tub were wonderful to enjoy with the fresh snow.

Every time I come here, they have always exceeded my expectations. The rooms are always clean and well-supplied. The front desk staff are always friendly and the pool area is never too crowded. Whenever I visit Canmore, this is the place I go.

Was very impressed with the overall service and the beauty of the suites. Well decorated and fully functional. However, very disappointed when we wanted to use the hot tub at 9am on checkout day, and they hadn't uncovered the water, and pools weren't warm or ready, etc. When we're told that certain amenities are 9am-10pm daily, I take that for granted and expect to be able to use them without disappointment or delay. They need to be more organized in that sense.

Lacking cleanliness. On arrival, I ended up removing food and cleaning dirty kitchen wares from the previous guest. Very visible pink scum along showers edge in both bathrooms, means they haven't been touched in long while! We stayed 4 nights and the room was lightly touched up on the 3rd day. Beds were made and towels refreshed but that's it. Floors clearly needed a vacuum but it was ignored. Also doesn't make sense to clean a room on a 3rd day when you only have 1 night left. Requested a clean a day earlier and was told arrivals were a priority. I stayed in Jasper 2 nights (in December) in a 3 star hotel and it was cleaned everyday without request. So can't use lack of staffing as an excuse, maybe more training is needed. Not expecting it to be cleaned everyday but if you are only going to touch the room once, I would expect it to be done well, especially if it is a long stay. In addition, the lady working the front desk in the evening never greeted us when we passed by numerous times, even after my daughter would say hi to her. She clearly did not want to be there.

Very clean rooms. It's welcoming and so comfortable. I would love to return to this place again. It was a wonderful stay and we had fun. Staff are nice and friendly. The whole place is surrounded by scenic views of the Rockie Mountains.

The view was gorgeous with a breathtaking sunrise!
The condo was very clean, the rooms were spacious with lots of room for our 7+ person group!
The resort was very quiet, with mandatory quiet times.
The only complaint was how small the pool & hot tub were. They were very small considering how big of a resort shares them. However, they were clean and well heated for the chilly evenings.
Overall a very enjoyable stay!

Booked and paid for over a year in advance and asked if they could prioritize me for a mountain view room because I was in town for a wedding and had a photographer taking photos in the room. They told me the that the executive suite I booked did not have clear mountain views and only had pool views. This contradicted someone else saying that 1 of the 16 executive suites had a clear view. Either way, they said they would prioritize a higher floor for me instead at least. I was told “ When assigning rooms we look at the time of booking, and we prioritize those reservation with mountain view requests. Please be assured that we will our best to accommodate your request for a room with a mountain view. ” This is a flat out lie as they do nothing to accommodate you no matter how far in advance you book. On arrival, they then stuck me on the first floor with a view of a noisy walkway instead and offered up the most useless responses and unsympathetic customer service when I raised the concern. This place does not deserve to be called a 4 star hotel.

It is a gem and we are glad we found it. We had a two bedroom (king and queen beds), living room, kitchen and two bathrooms. The receptionist was amazing, her name is Kathy and was able to answer a lot of questions and provide us with lots of great advice. The indoor parking is free. The atmosphere is family friendly.

Beautiful hotel in Canmore, clean with professional and attentive staff. Rooms are spacious and with everything you need, including BBQ and laundry. There are nearby restaurants, shops. Complex has a pool and hot tub the we loved to use in the evening hours. It is 20min drive from Downtown Banff and an hour from Lake Louise and Johnston's Creek.

Great hotel! Would’ve been nicer if the smoke wasn’t around. The room was spotless and was greatly maintained. The only downfall was the somewhat musty smell that greeted you when you entered the room. You do get used to it soon after though. Would 100% stay again if an opportunity comes up! Great job CLIQUE!

Beautiful layout, fantastic location on the edge of town. Lots of cycling, walking paths at your door. The resort is spotless and very well maintained. Staff are friendly and attentive. We loved our stay and hope to return. Clique never disappoints!

This hotel is LOUD. We stayed 6 nights and had people above us for 4 of them. The first night, I just thought the family above was particularly loud. They checked out the next morning (hotel staff informed me when I called to complain about the noise), but the next day when someone else checked in - it was the same. We could hear every foot step. The running and jumping of children. Their toilet flushing. If the people above were in their room, we didn’t go 5 full minutes without hearing thumping. You hear everything that happens in the hallway as well. The bed was also pretty uncomfortable.

All of that being said, the hotel is immaculately kept up. Always clean. Wonderfully friendly staff. The pool is perfect. But I would never stay again unless we were on the top floor.

Stayed in an Airbnb here. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Was immediate access to the pathway system and close to amenities Canmore has to offer.

This hotel is hands down the best hotel in Canmore! The staff is extremely knowledgable and very friendly. Accommodations are 5 star for sure. We absolutely loved our upgraded suite and enjoyed many hours at the pool. The location is very convenient to get downtown for shopping and dinning. Can’t wait to be back next month!

We have stayed at the Stoneridge before and was totally amazing. It was a great place to come and relax. We are here right now staying in a 2 bedroom King Suit and yes Alberta is experiencing a heat wave, however the AC is not working. The resort refuses to admit that there is a problem And keeps telling us that there is nothing that they can do about the heat wave… Yeah, no kidding! However at $350 per night you’d expect it to be working. It’s 11 PM and our room is currently sitting at 25°. That’s too hot for a hotel that supposedly has air-conditioning. When we checked in our fridge was warm we were told that it would cool down, we checked in at 1: 30 PM and by 4: 00 PM everything was still room temperature. We are a family of four and expected to cook while we are here for three short nights. We brought breakfast and snacks. The service gentleman came by and proceeded to tell me that my fridge was “too full”. We packed for only 3 days not the apocalypse. They replaced our fridge and the same problem is still happening. Again, we are returning guests and we have really enjoyed this resort but this time around not only do we not have working air conditioning in a heat wave but a fridge that doesn’t work and a view of the parking lot with a below par deck 2 with only seating for 2. Do better Stoneridge.

A great hotel on a quiet street in Canmore. Walking distance to downtown restaurants shops and a brewery.

Great Location for your stay in Canmore. Facility was very clean, our suite was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We even got a 10% discount card to the Black dog café. Definetely recommend staying here.

Our suite was big, with an unreal view of the Three Sisters. Floor was a bit dusty when we checked in but we only noticed because we have a 1 year old crawling around. Other then that, our room was very clean. My only complaint is the fridge opened from the right side, it tricked me every time. Honestly not a big deal, great stay here.

The room is nice and big and the bed was super comfy. Really enjoyed all of the space. The staff was all very friendly as well. Our issue is our room was right by the lobby and it was extremely loud early morning and throughout the night. It was the worst sleep I’ve had in a long time and it ruined my experience. My recommendation to guests is if you have a room by the lobby ask to switch rooms otherwise be prepared not to sleep!

Beauty resort on the edge of Canmore. Stayed on the top floor, so the ceilings were very tall and large windows allowed you to gaze out at the mountain range. Only downside is that the kitchen is equipped with entry level everything. So if you're use to cooking with quality, you might want to bring your own stuff.same with the bathroom amenities!

Nice condo style rooms with a full kitchen. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area outdoors in the winter. I'd stay again

This is the best hotel experience I've ever had during our stay in Calgary! Seriously I have nothing to complain about this place. Perfect views, clean amenties, nice kitchen and fireplace, warm pool open from 9 - 10, fast internet, very spacious room, good taste furnitures.thanks for those countless surprises to me! Trust me, book your hotels in canmore, its much quiet than banff, and less ppl.the place in a whole was nice and pieceful. Me and the wife lived in here for two days in November and everything was perfect. I will definitely come back again next time.this place is highly recommended, i really liked this town. Trust those posted pictures, bcs they are REAL!

Stayed here for a girls trip last weekend. Had a two bedroom suite which was great for our group of 6. The hotel is very nice and the outdoor hot tub and heated swimming pool were amazing. We had great service from check-in to check-out. Matt at the front desk was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

We spent a wonderful weekend at this delightful spot. Room was incredible, views were spectacular and everyone was so friendly and accommodating.

Stayed in the beggining of December 2018. What a place! Got a great deal, the hot tub and heated pool are great, and the kitchens are the best I've ever seen at a hotel. Will stay here or at any Clique resort over any other hotels Canmore or Banff has to offer. The rooms with 2 bedrooms are great as they offer privacy when staying with others. A+

Stayed for two nights this past weekend and had a fantastic time! When we checked in we were pleasantly surprised to find out we had been upgraded to a bigger 2 bedroom suite free of charge! We had a beautiful 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen and living room. We loved the chrome cast on the tv that we could connect with our phones and watch Netflix. We also loved using the BBQ on the balcony. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool and hot tub were very nice, although the hot tub is a bit small for the size of hotel and was pretty much full all evening. My only complaint is that the gate into the pool area slams shut and is pretty noisy. Our room over looked the pool area so we were constantly hearing the slam of the gate. But overall would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Checked in Monday night around 9 pm Found my room cold as someone had set the thermostat to 14 C. Went to bed only to find my bed had been short sheeted.
Who even does this sort of thing?
When questioned as to why this happened I was offered the following explanation "Staff must have grabbed the wrong sized sheets". That was the extent of Stoneridge's customer service.
Guessing it doesn't matter that staff left the room in this state and I had to pay full price for a substandard room.

Management contacted me 3 weeks after my original comments to try and rectify the situation.

Satisfied with there answers, I am willing to try and stay here again.

This hotel property was amazing and the room was just as good. One of the most comfortable beds we've slept in. The full kitchen was great to eat breakfast and pack lunches for the next day on the trails. In suite laundry with soap provided, full size coffee pot, toaster, hot water pot, fully stocked kitchen and gas grill on the deck! The pool and hot tub were perfect after a long day out exploring. The Canmore location is great, a lot to do and it is an easy 1 km walk along the river path to many restaurants, shopping and bars in the city center. The Black Dog cafe connected to the property was great for a quick coffee, tea, snack, panni or drink (beer/wine). We will be back and will encourage all friends and family to stay here in the future.

Our trip started off ok.go to the resort early so I gave my number twice, to the female manager to call me once the room was ready.well found out she wrote my number wrong. Got to the room and didn't have anything set up for our baby like we were told we would. High chair didn't even have an eating table. No coffee available had to wait a bit in the morning to get it. Balcony was not swept super dirty. Bedding sherts were stained yellow. Up to this point the stafg was nice. Upon leaving informed them of our concerns/ comments. Got back home and noticed a large charge on visa bill to which I did not agree to. Called and was told a manager would call back. No one ever called me back still to this day. Took a while but I have now finally seen the proper amount on my visa bill. Def not a 5 star hotel. Grounds such as the pool was nice. Rooms are just ok.
Not sure I would stay there again for that price. Pretty disappointed with the service I received.

It is a very nice place. The rooms where great, the kitchen was very pretty and I loved the bathroom it was super relaxing when I took baths.

My wife, two kids and I really enjoyed our two night stay here at the resort and it was as nice as our condo back home.

We were upgraded to the third floor because the locks on our first floor door didn't work and the view from there was great. The pool and hot tub where very nice and were never over crowded, from our experience.

I would have given a 5-star review but we found that the king-size bed and pull out couch we're a little bit uncomfortable. I will absolutely stay there again in the future and would definitely recommend it!

Great facility, beautiful to the eyes both inside and out, adjacent to a great trail system through Canmore and close to all the Bow Valley has to offer. Helpful staff and underground parking made this an easy and relaxing stop over in our trip.

Nice place to stay, I like the proximity to city of Banff also nice views in all rooms I stayed so far. Make sure at the time of booking you are not booking rooms facing railway. Rooms been really clean. Nice BBQ in all balconies, swimming pool.

Only down fall to the hotel is that they did not have a restaurant on site they had thou a very nice sandwich/ wine/ drinks cafe

The best hotel experience I have ever had. Was beautiful. Staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and spacious. We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite for no charge! Will be back!

Had another wonderful time away at Stoneridge! Excellent customer service, as always, from the front desk. I have stayed at many properties in Canmore over the last 12 years, and Stoneridge is definitely my go to! I love the layout to the rooms, the beautiful outdoor hot tub and pool and the black dog café downstairs.

Love this place because it feels like home with the full kitchen, living room. Outdoor pool and tub is great. Room service everyday.

Really nice rooms, very cozy quiet and private. Only downside was limited room service and a view of a construction project at least for now.

Good value, modern, clean. Only complaint is the stairs from the top level don't go all the way downstairs to the Parkade

Very clean. The staff is nice and courteous. The rooms are large, condo style. The kitchen includes a refridgerator, freezer, oven, stove top, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a washer/dryer in the room. The bathroom has 2 sinks, a very long bathtub and a very large shower. The outdoor hottub is large (fits 15 easily) and heated pool is nice to have a swim in.

It is right off the highway in Canmore, easy to get to, and also easy to go to Banff and all it has to offer. About half an hour from the ski resorts.

I will definitely be back when travelling out here.

This place was phenomenal. Had great views, very clean rooms and we took full advantage of the hot tub. Stayed here for a wedding last month and I would definitely stay here again
