The only place I go to get my eyebrows done. I drive all the way from the SW down to strands. Most amazing service and the people are amazing too!

I have been using strands for probably 10 years for eyebrow threading/tinting and hair.
I have probably had all the ladies do my brows at one time or other and would recommend all of them.
Kamal has been doing my hair for at least 2-3 years, women’s cut, very short and she does a great job, again would recommend her.

I have been going to Strands for years. Rupy is one of the best in the biz (if not the best!) and knows what I’m looking for without me having to explain. The entire Strands team is approachable, kind and super efficient. I highly recommend for all brow/lash/cosmetic needs!

I have gone to Strands for a manicure, pedicure, eyelash dying and a facial. The facial is by far the best I have ever had and I was treated royally during all other procedures as well. The staff is knowledgeable and professional and caring and the place is immaculate. I would highly recommend all services.

Poor customer service. I was not told I would be charged for getting my hair dried following my haircut until AFTER the service. I called to book my first appointment and was not told this either. I have never heard of a single hair salon that charges to dry your hair afterwards; how was I supposed to know this? The receptionist was awful afterwards, too, and made it feel like it was my fault for not knowing there was an additional charge. I’ll take my business to one of the other salons in the area that do not charge you to dry your hair.

Went to Strands for the first time. I had Karma. She was great. Love my hair cut. Everyone was very friendly and the service was exactly what I was hoping for. It is hard to find a salon and a stylist you like. I definitely have found mine.

The hairdresser was friendly and professional; however, I found the receptionist to be patronizing and manipulative and will not be returning solely because of her.

This is the best place in Calgary for brow threading! Always on time, affordable and lovely staff. I have gone to Rupi and Pam both are great.the front staff are also always kind and professional.

Alyssa did an absolutely beautiful job on my hair yesterday. I hadn’t been in the salon for at least 7 months (lots of root growth, busy life, mom etc) and I am a very pleased with how my hair turned out.

I met Rupy for the first time yesterday. (Owner of the salon) I inquired about the micro blading services. She was thorough when explaining the process, and I felt comfortable and was excited. So I decided to go for it. She booked me in for same day (very short notice-so accommodating) and I am thrilled that she did.

I would recommend Rupy and her staff, to service you for all of your beauty needs.

Had a really amazing experience today. The hair dresser Alyssa listened very well to what I wanted and I can honestly say this is the best blonde highlights I have ever had. Kamal is a true professional, and took the time to look at my hair first and talk about what needed to be done before anything else. I've been going to Rupy for eyebrow and lip threading for over 15 years. She keeps me looking great and helps me with my sensitive skin when I have breakouts. They are also great for pedicures, nice to sit back and relax during the treatment. Staff is great and friendly and the new location in Deer Valley Mall is bright and easy to access. Strands has been my go-to place for eyebrow and upper lip threading for the past 10 years. It is by far the best place I’ve been. I have moved all around Calgary and always make the drive to see Suneet or Rupy. I now live in Lethbridge and still drive up just to get my eyebrows taken care of here. I had a facial with microdermabrasion. A wonderful experience. The best hour I’ve spent in a very long time. Rupie is a great technician, the products she used were very refreshing and the studio so relaxing. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Whenever my eyebrows need upkeep (threading) I visit Pam at Strands. She's the only one I trust to do them. Recently, I decided to get them microbladed. She did a phenomenal job! From start to finish, her professionalism and caring shone through. She listened to my concerns and prepared me for the entire process including aftercare. Pam was transparent in the products and tools used and I felt reassured that not only was I being treated by an licenced and experienced esthetician but she was using the best products on the market! So happy I chose her for my microblading.

I have been seeing Pam for the last 16 years. Pam is the only one that I will allow to do my eye brow threading and micro blading. I’m very particular about my brows and Pam goes above beyond to ensure I have the best brows that are suited to me. She has a great eye on what is suited for each face and eye shape. Pam always makes sure I am comfortable with what is taking place and checks in with me through out any procedure. Pam is very friendly and likeable which makes seeing her that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend Pam, she is professional and skilled with all of her services.

Strands is amazing. I regularly get my brows done and recently started getting lash lifts recently. The lash lifts are easy and painless and a great way to get full curled eyelashes without extensions. I couldn't recommend d Strands more!

I decided to try Strands and am glad I did. My stylist was Judy. She made me feel very comfortable, took time to discuss what I might like and proceeded to give me an excellent cut.
