Strandz Hair Extensions

This month will be 1 year that I’ve had my hair extensions, if you take care of them they will stay as amazing as they did when you first got them done! I will never go anywhere else for my extension needs. 10/10

This salon is very professional. The owner was ready and on time for me. She is very efficient and no nonsense. I really appreciated that I could purchase just 50 grams of hair as other salons have made me buy a full package and i never used half the hair! It was also a good price.

I got my eyebrows done here once.it was a cool experience to say the least. They were playing cool tunes and the vibe was pretty spectacular.
10/10 would rock in again.

Honestly I don’t even know where to start, the people working here have major RBF I’m not sure if it’s a privilege thing or just an unfortunate event for me. This was by far the worst vibe I have ever received knowing how much I was about to be paying. I wish I would have gone back to ask for some better hair but I really don’t think this place is capable of offering anything close to good quality in there professionalism or the product. No hard feelings.just learnt from my mistakes.wont be returning.

I hope that this review can be used constructively. I have been visiting Strandz almost 18 months now. The salon is beautiful and Chassie is a very nice person! What I am disappointed in is the customer service. Unfortunately after 18 months and thousands of dollars spent, I still don't feel like a valued customer. After speaking to girlfriends who visit other salons I have found out that they were given a lot of instructions on how to care for their extensions and their stylist now knows them by name. Unfortunately at Strandz I was never educated on keeping my hair healthy and Chassie still does not remember my name or ask me anything about myself. I also messaged the salon on April 1st to ask if there was a method I could use to take out my extensions myself (during COVID-19 pandemic when I can't get into the salon). No one has answered me a week later, despite posting other things on social media.

I'm sad to say that after this experience I have decided to move on to another salon. I wish you all the best and hope this feedback is constructive to your business helping others.

Chassie at Strandz is the absolute BEST! Professional atmosphere, ultra chic decor, and prestige level hair quality. She always pays attention to the little extras which elevates your experience with her compared to other Extensionists I’ve gone to. Not to mention she is so fast! I’m in and out in less than 45 minutes! I've been going to her for a year+ and I've never had so many compliments on my hair!

The quality of and precision of extensions that Strandz provides are unreal! I was paying more for less quality extensions elsewhere that are not even comparable.

Obsessed! I met Chassie when I was looking for extensions for my wedding; She was extremely knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted to achieve. I had the most incredible mermaid hair on my big day and have not let go since! I will forever wear Strandz hair! I love how clean and comfortable the method is (yes, it is also super easy to wash), the hair blends seamlessly with my own (seriously, I have to actually convince people I am actually wearing extensions), but most of all I love the hair quality and that it is ROOTED! So amazing! I have been wearing my hair for 19 months; I wash every 3 days, and apply heat 5 times per week, and still my hair looks phenomenal. I have kept up regular maintenance which is soooooo easy with 15 minute express maintenance appointments, every 4 -5 weeks. Cannot recommend more highly!

Worst experience ever. Very unprofessional and very uncomfortable environment to be in. I felt like I was being judged the whole time. The staff just laughed and made little jokes to each other and it was severely uncomfortable, I felt as if they thought they were better than me by not being able to hold a conversation.they put the hair in my head and pulled out the machine to pay. The hair is absolutely garbage I think the owner was taking advantage that I knew nothing about hair and just put in some garbage and charged me over $500. Very bad quality from the professionalism to the product. Many other places you can visit in Calgary for extensions, this is not the place. I have never taken the time to post a bad review but this one was a must.

I started coming to Strandz for my hair extensions over 5 years ago! They have the best hair extensions available anywhere and Chassie’s process of installation and care is top of the line. She always goes out of her way to accommodate me for appointments. Her salon is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Chassie is so kind and makes sure her clients are comfortable and leave satisfied and confident.
