Worst managing company. I feel as I am dealing with incompetent robots.

I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND living in any of their properties. UPTEN IS THE WORST CONDO

I have had the unfortunate experience of renting with Strategic in the past. On top of theft, shady business practices and lack of professionalism, we can now add discriminatory. You people are disgusting. Congratulations on becoming the lowest of the low.

This company is rejecting tenants for being unvaccinated. Not only that but they claim to be PROUD of it. This is a very ugly show of character and and a poor decision for anyone with half a brain. Here in Canada, we dont accept discrimination. OF. ANY. KIND. You guys deserve to be sued into the ground.

The management of this company should be ashamed of themselves. What a disgusting group of people.

Discriminatory practices such as denying housing to people who choose against a medical procedure is illegal. A terrible policy, from terrible people in a terrible company. I will never support and I'm going to share how terrible this company is! Shameful

DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY FROM STRATEGIC GROUP. You will regret it. I should have heeded the warnings from so many people but unfortunately I didnt. Giant red flags with this company

Pricey rent for the poor quality buildings. And now to top it off discriminates against people… won’t be staying long

Find someone to take over your lease before you leave as these people do not return damage deposits otherwise, no matter how clean you leave your place. The crime in the parkade at Missao on 4th St, damage/break-ins to vehicles, that was co-managed by Impark was rampant and they hired security guards temporarily to no improvement. It was a frustratingly disappointing experience, just avoid them all together

I had an interview with another company that use to be located at strategic groups office, and the lady in reception was so helpful in making sure I find the right place. Without hesitation she was looking up addresses and phone numbers, and even called the company I applied for to tell them the situation. If this is how they treat me walking in off the street, I can only imagine that working for strategic group, or hiring them for your project is a good decision. In fact I almost wish they asked me if I'd like an interview because I can already tell they're an awesome business.

They don't pay their bills. We can't pay our employees and work in good faith, but just keep circulating through contractors and suppliers till they burn everyone. But they owner has expensive car collection.

They don't pay their bills. Don't work for these guys. Terrible reputation in the industry. Probably the worst.

I have had nothing but the best experience with the move in and maintenance of my building. Everyone has been amazing to deal with! The move in was quick and organized and I love my condo!

Do not work for this company! They still owe me money from 5 months ago! They should be ashamed of how they treat contractors and vendors. They never respond to your calls or messages and just ignore you. They think the critic doesn't count, wrong, the critic absolutely counts when you owe the critic money! Very poor management. No wonder they are in receivership and nobody trusts them. I will never do work for them again.

The property management team and building operator, Tyler Fladager, have been enormously helpful when our office was in need of special requests, repairs etc. Their prompt responses and willingness to accommodate us as tenants go above and beyond.

Strategic Group has been a long time corporate partner to us here in Southern Alberta. Over the years they have showed up in a BIG way. Supporting our amazing wish kids and their families not only monetarily, but with time, passion, and dedicated efforts. The impact has been profound. We are so grateful for the entire team, their support and enthusiasm for making the impossible, possible. Together, we give kids the strength to fight, to get better – to grow up! Team Strategic - you are super stars!

I agree with the last review about heating! Wow I had been in Waves and Blondie this weekend and I could hardly breathe. The poor staff working there informed us it was 28 degrees (but only 8 outside.) and also said it’s been an ongoing problem for years. I’m so sad because if they had not told me I prob would have just left. Who wants to drink coffee or try on clothes when you get literally stuck in them. Taxes are going up and Businesses are closing l but it seems like it’s very much an issue of these seemingly horrific landlords.

I have lived at Strategic 's CUBE since August, 2019. Every staff person with whom I have dealt, have gone out of their way to help me, and have quickly taken action to resolve my apartment needs. All have been pleasant & polite, even in frustrating situations.
Most recently, just three days before Nov 1, I emailed Sherry about adding a parking space to my lease. She immediately responded, and I had my space before Nov 1.
Sherry has an amazing, friendly and energetic personality, and always has time to hear where attention is required, and learn what needs the residents may have.

I have found the team at Strategic excellent to work with. They are always available to listen and responses are swift. Great partners!

They post ads everywhere about renting but never respond to inquiries. Consistently wasting time of people looking for a place by having ads up with no vacancies.

Some months back when I did actually hear from someone, I was directed to a different property that was $700 more a month (again, no indication the one I was looking at was rented).

Any company that acts in such an unprofessional manner and is incapable of responding to inquiries should not be trusted.

They charge $100 for parking at one of their lease properties, but the signage is so poor people who don't pay park anywhere. It's not monitored so they get away with it. The rate sounds like a downtown rate, but it isn't. The location is far south Calgary. I now need to cancel my parking, but they are unresponsive. I will now have to contact my bank to stop payment. Strategic is strategic for themselves. A well known selfish company. I would rate less than one star if I could. If you need your property managed, go elsewhere. There are much better companies out there I am sure.

I had an internship at Strategic and I was able to learn and grow, thanks to the help of my co workers who actively went out of their way to help me in my role. Thank you for making me feel at home and making everyday a blast!

As a new designer starting out, it was difficult to get a hold of information regarding commercial space. I couldn't even get a call or an email back from lots of agents in Calgary. When I contacted Strategic, their leasing team immediately met with me and showed me several spaces the same day. They worked diligently to inform me of the competitive landscape and all my options before I selected my space. Although I ultimately chose to lease a studio closer to home I will certainly be back when my office grows! Thank you for your help.

On the outside this company doesn’t seem too bad but don’t be misconstrued. I lived at One6 on 16th Ave NW, Calgary for a year and honestly couldn’t imagine a more poorly run property. Constant break-ins to the underground parkade and nothing done about it besides “oh, we will look into it” every time it happens. I’ve spent over $800 between broken windows and popped tires from the glass they refuse to clean up.

One month after moving in to my “Brand New” place the heat wouldn’t turn off and it would get up to 30C+ with no way of shutting it off. After over 15 phone calls and dealing with different people within strategic group on top of over 3 weeks of “there’s nothing wrong with your unit” it was finally addressed and fixed. Many residents I’ve talked to are moving out as soon as possible from One6 as they are sick of the issues and break-ins as well.

I DO NOT recommend Strategic Group to anyone looking to live peacefully in an apartment or wanting to deal with professionals as this company has proved countless times that they are the adverse of this.

I wanted to share my EXCELLENT experience with the hardworking folks from Strategic Group at the Lilac Fest on Sunday. Not only did they give my family and me a wonderful, FREE, parking spot but they also helped me load my stroller and were even there to hold the door. I'm not sure who the building attendant is at 20-20 building but thank you for helping make my day.

I live in the Mission 17 Apartment complex and I absolutely LOVE IT HERE. The building is incredibly clean and well-maintained and the community is second to none. I've lived here for nearly 3 years now and I can't begin to explain how satisfied I have been throughout my entire experience with this company. I have a small dog and he has become good friends with all the other dogs while I have become good friends with all my neighbors. The property managers are responsive and courteous and any issues are solved immediately. A+ ; Would (and do) highly recommend.

Fantastic to deal with. Agents were answer all my questions and provide me with another option that I had not even considered. It was perfect and my wife and I now have beautiful office and excellent building. Planning to stay for a long time.

This company knows our commercial real estate market and gave me the most effective deal in town on office space. Everyone was easy to get a hold of and worked quickly to ensure that I got what I needed at a great price. They even reduced Op. Costs in my building while other landlords increase only. Bravo

Worst Property Management company ever. Our parkade is constantly getting broken into and car windows smashed out on a daily basis and they refuse to do anything about it or even address the issue. Finally happened to one of my friends vehicles in visitor parking the other night and all my property manager had to say was “yea we’ve noticed there’s an issue, don’t know what to do about it. ” You guys advertise our building has 24 hour surveillance but it clearly doesn’t. They are also constantly ticketing our vehicles and threatening to tow for parking in visitor parking since “it is meant for retail parking too. ” Well, maybe if you didn’t charge an extra $200 a month for underground parking everyone wouldn’t take your precious “retail” parking spots. On top of that, they do nothing about noise complaints, I have rowdy neighbours that will scream and party at all hours of the night on week nights when I need to be up for work at 3: 30AM and management doesn’t even address the complaints when they’re filed. The building is brand new but the elevator is breaking every other week and my shower has leaked water out of the bottom since I’ve moved in and never got fixed. The water pressure is non-existent as “it’s a part of their eco-friendly movement, ” as I was told. In the winter the property maintenance was horrible, snow wasn’t removed for at least 2 days on most occasions. When requesting entry to your apartment the excuses they give don’t even make sense and when questioned about reasoning they seem to ignore phone calls. Can’t wait for this lease to be up. So overpriced for such an unsecured building and unorganized management.

I TOTALLY DON`T recommend this company. People who work there, from the property manager of the main office, his assistant an mainly the property manager of One Six Building at 16th Ave NW in Calgary, are completely unrespectful and incompetent professionals. Minimize their issues, take long time to solve them and after ask for company`s right. This company does not accomplish its obligation on time.

Unfortunately it is impossible to post negative Stars.

For sure there are much better companies in Calgary.

NEVER choose Strategic Group.
