I have been seeing Noman for severe arthritis in my right shoulder. Before treatment everyday activities such as blow drying my hair, simple kitchen activities and getting dressed were difficult. My range of motion and strength have improved immensely. I can’t thank Noman enough!
Noman is very professional and very well educated. I have been very pleased with the progress we have made through passive treatment such as dry needling and active treatment through manipulation and exercise. I highly recommend this clinic.

My Physio has helped me recover from the back pain, that was so painful. Also my shoulder. He has helped me to build a stronger core. And I was so dizzy when I an lying down for the first few minutes. All that has changed since I started treatment for this condition. I struck gold when I walked into Strathcona Physical Therapy. I had been limping with a broken knee for years thinking it was always going to be like this. However, when my leg started to bow inwards and the pain became unbearable and woke me up at night, I reached out for an appointment at my local clinic. I wasn’t expecting much as I had briefly tried physical therapy in the past and it didn’t seem to help. However, what I experienced this time was different. To my surprise, I found a very professional, knowledgeable and caring clinician who really knows what he is doing and has been able to make an enormous impact. Not only is Noman extremely knowledgeable and up-to-date about science and health policy, he is able to apply this to patient care. Noman has fixed my leg! I am starting to walk properly again, and the pain and swelling on my knee cap has almost gone away completely. Under Noman’s guidance, his assistant Cassidy patiently demonstrates all the “homework”exercises and applies further treatment to the affected area. I am very grateful to Noman, Cassidy, and all the staff at Strathcona Physical Therapy for all their help!

My physiotherapist, Noman, is the consummate professional. He is punctual. His knowledge is beyond reproach. He has excellent communication skills: carefully outlining his assessment and findings, diagnosis, and treatment plans. He is always positive and encouraging. He attends a lot of continuing education and is thus always up to date on the newest techniques and methods. Although not my issues, he told me he has a special interest in chronic pain syndromes and also vertigo. He creates and e-mails you a personalized rehab plan to work on at home in-between appointments. He's been a big part of my journey to recovering from my injuries.

Recently the clinic has updated it's equipment, so the gym area is great!

I've been a patient at this clinic for over four years (and more to come) as the owner and team are all consummate professionals. They are extremely punctual and do a great job addressing any issues I have. I highly recommend this clinic for any physiotherapy needs you may have.

I have been Noman's patient for two years, and I highly recommend him.

As a high-performance athlete, my life changed after meeting him. Not only is he very knowledgeable about human anatomy, but he also tries various methods to help you, including adjustment, needling (IMS), heat therapy, stretching, and exercises. You name it.

He performs root cause analysis to determine the source of the issue. In my case, it was mainly related to how I had been working out, and he helped me a lot in correcting my routine.

On top of all that, he is very personable, and it's hard not to like him. I've tried many physiotherapists in Edmonton, and I believe you cannot find someone better than Noman.

I went there for chronic shoulder pain that had troubled me for years. Noman is a fantastic physiotherapist. He works very efficiently and is also patient and professional. Gerald Gosselin did such an amazing job helping me recover. He has an astounding amount of expertise and I will continue to go here for future needs.

Highly recommend this clinic and the services provided by Noman specifically. I had been struggling with a back injury and had seen several heath practitioners before being referred to Noman who both treated the symptoms and identified the underlying issues and helped to address them successfully. I went through roughly 6 months of treatment and not only became stronger, but smarter also. Noman helped me enable a stronger mind muscle connection to address issues I had been experiencing for years with lower back challenges. He uses a variety of treatment options and continually does assessments throughout treatment to ensure the treatments are adjusted as the body changes. I don't easily give a 5 star rating - but Noman earned it!

Fantastic physiotherapy with an amazing team!

The first time I went to Strathcona PT was in early 2022 for back issues related to scoliosis. Noman has helped me immensely with this. He gave me lots of tips and exercises for home. A technique that was new to me was the needling of my trapezoid muscles, which has been super helpful with resolving headaches and migraines.

After this positive experience, I went back to Noman when I injured my knee. Again, he exceeded my expectations and helped me out enormously, not only physically, but also emotionally with his kind words of encouragement and much needed pep talks. Thanks to him I was well prepared for my ACL surgery and the long rehab journey that followed.

I had such a wonderful experience with this clinic that giving anything less than a 5 star rating would be a crime! I saw Gerald for ~6 months last fall (June-Nov) after acquiring a bad lower back sprain, and I feel his advice and therapy have completely changed my outlook on my chronic back pain - this was my first time experiencing an injury like this and requiring physio. I received a combo of stretching, deep tissue acupuncture, exercises, and ice pack therapy while there. Months later, I’m still finding his at-home exercises, stretches, and advice fully relevant and beneficial for my back care. Gerald was extremely caring and insightful when working with me, and his passion for finding the way to make you feel the best you can and work within your limits really shines. I can’t recommend him and this clinic enough, who work with your scheduling and workplace benefits/WCB well ahead of time so there’s nothing to worry about once you’re there. Going into physio for the first time, I was terrified as a young adult that I’d struggle with debilitating back pain for the rest of my life, but Gerald worked with me every step of the way to reassure and help me work through both the physical and mental struggles I faced with my new injury. Thank you Gerald!:)
