Strathcona Tender Loving Daycare

Our daughter has been attending this daycare for 6 months and we absolutely love this centre and the staff. You can tell that the staff are passionate about what they do and they truly care for the children. They are also very accommodating and extremely flexible. I would recommend this daycare to everyone. The food is great, they are constantly teaching the children, and they bring in outside educators to further develop the kiddos. Thank you to STLD team for treating my daughter so well! We love this daycare!

My daughter who is 1 years old was there for only one month she was well taken care of. The staff all worked together to make sure the children recieved the best care, such as chidren's programming, meal times, free play, gross motor and fine motor acivities. The staff allowed my daughter to attend part time.

I head their coffe with blueberries was good, I just bought pizza from skip the dishes instead.

I was with this daycare since the beginning. I am sad to leave this daycare as I was there for 5 years. The food they feed my children is top notch and healthy. They are always outside and playing and any serious concerns are brought up in a reasonable matter. The staff are amazing and treat my children like their own. My experience with them overall is very happy.:)

This daycare is just AWESOME!
The staff are very caring and the management is always attentive and professional.
We're a vegan family and we're very pleased that they're not only accomodating when it comes to our daughter's food, but also proactive in offering alternatives for her.

Not safe, they damaged my 10 month old baby fingers in a heavy metal door.

They negligently left my baby at the door then pushed the heavy door till baby started screaming and shouting in pain. Blood was dripping from baby hands and daycare operator saba was busy in getting paperwork ready to save herself. I had to rush to this daycare from my work and call the ambulance.

Strollery hospital doctors were shocked to see the condition of the damages they did to a baby. Not only this daycare did not provide any medical care but the operation manager saba says, these accidents happen every day. She says childrens will keep getting injured as it is absolutely normal for her business to make profit.

Baby stayed in pain for a week, all because of this daycare negligence.

Because of their negligence a baby has lost her finger nail and has developed a life long fear. Not to mention fear of all the subtle emotions developed in this baby’s heart of being left alone near a heavy metal door.

Now when exposed Daycare operator is playing tricks through her friends to misguide parents.

This is unfortunate that making money is more important in our community than safety of children. It was my kid who got injured because of this daycare negligence, and as a parent I had to go through all this trauma, tomorrow can be yours or some other kid and a parent.

I would start my review by saying Strathcona TLC is awesome! My child loves it there! They have safety standards in place and they make sure things are done right.
Secondly I would like to talk about this guy Umesh Gupta.his child was in the same room as mine and I clearly remember him yelling at his little infant for pooping in her diaper just before he was ready to pick her up for the day. It was uncomfortable to see him being so upset with his own child. When the room staff asked him why he was upset he said he will need to take off the show suite and change his child before heading out. The staff immediately took over and changed the child.this is a great example of how wonderful the Strathcona TLC staff are.
This parent should be reported to the social services! He shouldn’t be caring for that little girl. I wonder if the Daycare has recording for that incident where they can show the social services who this guy really is!
Don’t trust this guy with his bad reviews. Go look for yourself how wonderful Strathcona Tender Loving Daycare is.

Strathcona Tender Loving Daycare is an excellent place for children. I have had my son at this Daycare for about 4 years and I have nothing but positive things to say about the s centre. In these 4 years not a single time I felt my child was unhappy there. They take children to a lot of field trips, they have weekly Yoga and music sessions their staff is amazing too!
My son loves the food there and eats better than home.
I have noticed one guy leaving a negative review about the Daycare.my recommendation is not to trust that guy as he seems to be out there to do some damage. My experience with the Daycare and its owner has been excellent and I am sure all the other parents have positive things to say!

Our son was in the center for 2 and a half years. We were very happy with the great care he received, we always got informed about his day, his progress or troubles and how we can work together. The teachers are all very loving and caring and support each child in their development. Our son loved his teacher and told us every day what they did like camping out in a tent inside their room. With pictures, written documentation parents newsletters and weekly updates we were always up to date.
The food is amazing, always freshly prepared and we knew our son gets nutrisious food throughout the day and he just ate everything!
Its a great place for little ones to grow.
