There is something to be said about small town dealerships. They are nothing but knowledgeable, respectful, down to earth and helpful. It’s not just another sale for them. I’ve purchased 6 vehicles in my life and have never had a more positive experience than Strathmore Motors. These guys work hard and deserve business.

I bought an (almost new) vehicle for the first time at this dealership. The next day, the check engine light came on. I went to another dealership where I live to have it checked out, and there was something wrong with the catalytic converter. Pat who worked at Strathmore contacted me to ask about the vehicle and I told him what was wrong, and he didn't seem too interested in helping me resolve this issue. I am still waiting for parts now 5 months later from a different dealership. Also when I went inside to get my vehicle, the conversations with Pat were unprofessional.

Was very happy with this place and were loyal customers for around 15 years until recently we were in need of a used vehicle for our daughter. Found a car that we liked that also had a fairly decent price. Our sales person told us that the car was put through their shop and passed with flying colors. I Decided to take the car to an independent mechanic just to be sure and low and behold there was a problem discovered in the engine with one of the cylinders. And to confirm this we then realized that the car was blowing white smoke. The upsetting part was that they just stuck the vehicle back out on the lot like nothing had ever happened.

Have an update to my review. Got a phone call from the sales manager asking me why I had left such a bad review. When I explained the situation to him that there was a bad cylinder in the motor he assured me that the vehicle in question passed with flying colors with all of their inspections and safety checks and that there was nothing wrong with the car. When I told him that the mechanic took out the spark plug and showed me the white scaling or coloring on the insulator tip and side electrode it was clear that there was a problem or rather was going to be a problem in the near future. The independent mechanic then showed me a plug that was normal and the coloring was the dark scaring colors that you would typically see on a used spark plug. The sales manager disagreed with the mechanics methood of determining this information and said that he would pay the $150 that I paid for the independent inspection, if I would agree to change my review. I declined and said that I will purchase his vehicle if he fixed the bad cylinder. The sales manager said that the vehicle has already been sold to someone else. In the end I refused to change my review, money well spent in my opinion and I will continue to take my vehicles to my own mechanic.

We purchased a Kia Sedona from Strathmore Motor Products and worked with Trevor from sales and Mike in finance and had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone. You won’t be disappointed.

I can't say the sales guy was rude or ignored me but I will say that he was not really intrested in finding a vehicle in the price range of 10k. Apparently in today's market 10k cash is no longer enough of a cash sale to get assistance shopping for a vehicle. I know it's a tough market right now but it's never too bad that you don't even take my name or number to follow up if something did come in within my price range.

Always come out of the service department feeling like they helped me. And I feel like I was treated fairly

Their email system is the worst as one person replies, there’s no tracking or history, then maybe someone else replies, and then you can’t see what the chain of communication was. Please update or correct this as it’s 2021 and no one operates like this.
They started a sentence with, and again, when I clearly just asked a question with how we proceed on finding out what interest rate I would get for a vehicle loan. Some of the worst customer service I received in looking for a vehicle as I’ve emailed 7 dealerships now and everyone else has been kind and helpful. The owners and managers should know the people replying to emails need some training and coaching on customer service, and maybe basic sales techniques, as they have lost a potential customer and now obtain a sad review.

Having had past experience with Pat, he did everything I needed for an easy transaction process. Would recommend Pat and his dealership.

A low stress car buying experience. A great team to work with from sales staff to financing. We have bought 4 vehicles here and would work with them again in the future.

Wanted to buy a used truck from this dealership they would not honor the price they had advertises earlier they increased the price bye 7000.00 more then the previously posted price.this in my option is just a dealership that is out to rip off there costumers when they posted an add prior they where going to make money on that but now they want additional 7000.00

Dealt with Pat on a new Suburban and a Duramax. Will defiantly be back. Had a lift kit, positive air shut off, wheels and tires put on before I picked up the truck. Really impressed with cost and level of service on all levels I had dealt with from sales through to shop.

The sales staff and finance personal were informative, friendly and helpful. They weren’t pushy or aggressive. We were able to negotiate a mutually agreeable price without fanfare. Paperwork and transfer of license plates was very efficient. Thanks guys.

Strathmore Motor Products is the ONLY place to buy a new or used vehicle. They go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied. They treat you with respect and answer any questions you may have. The coffee is always on and anyone there would be happy to have a little chat about the new products they endorse and the fancy technology you may have a question about. I would call all of the team members at SMP a friend.

Salesperson Patrick met me on the lot and gave me a friendly and sincere greeting and continued to ask questions about what I was interested in an automobile. He was not pushy and I felt comfortable in exchanging info with him. We looked at several cars and soon found one that met my wants. He explained the Costco promo discount and $500 Costco gift card promo. The rest of the process went smoothly with clear explanation of the financing, warranty extension and other options. Patrick showed me how many new features worked such as on star and the other electronics. After taking the vehicle home during the next few days I received calls from all the employees I had dealt with checking to see if I had any questions. I am a first time customer at Strathmore Motor Products and I have enjoyed the new Buick and the experience so far.

I highly recommend the Strathmore Motor Products dealership. I especially appreciated that there no high pressure sales. I had a great experience purchasing my "new to me" vehicle. Everyone of the staff I interacted with l very kind, patient, and friendly. From my first interaction and test drive with Chris, to finalizing the sale with Chris and Patrice, to completing the paperwork with Mike and Les, everything was terrific. I even got calls from Chris and Les the week after I got the vehicle to make sure everything was going well. That never happened when I bought vehicles in the past The customer service is definitely worth the drive from Calgary:)

We are from out of town and had a small problem that we needed to talk to service about. The person at the front was so unfriendly, the parts desk was indifferent and the service person didn’t show he cared at all. We felt very unwelcome in the building and left no better off than when we arrived. Pretty poor service, really makes me wonder why I have a GM vehicle.

Terrible! Would never shop here again! Everyone seemed nice at first then once the paperwork is all done they just forget about you! I have called and emailed numerous times with no reply! Finally when someone calls me back they say that they will look into it but according to the paperwork they say everything was done correctly. They charged us for something on our car that we didn’t agree or want done! They treated me like I was just a kid who didn’t understand how buying and paying for a car worked. Will never recommend this dealership to anyone! If they truly cared they would have done the right thing the first time around!

Great service. Friendly and caring people. Had vehicle trouble instantly while driving because of a computer chip. I showed up unexpectedly, they fixed me up and I still made it to work for an important meeting. Would recommend SMP 100 times over

I came in for an oil change with no appointment. Cassie in the service department got me in with no troubles, was friendly and polite. Kale did the oil change very efficiently and Patrick gave my car a free wash. I would highly recommend their service.

Strathmore Motor Products is by far the best place I have ever dealt with regarding leasing or buying a vehicle.
I recently leased a 2018 GMC Terrain and the customer service from Clarence, Les and the entire SMP team was by far above and beyond. Mike was outstanding with the paperwork and putting the lease together.
