We took our very reactive dog here and they were so good with her! Really listened to us and they were able to treat her without any issues.

This is the best vet ever I take all.my animals there. I took my new dog charlee and she was treated very well when she got her first shots

We love coming here, but we're concerned about the cleanliness. The floors against the walls were very grungy. Hope to see an improvement on our next visit.

Amazing staff very kind and professional. My pup is always less anxious going there. Fair and more than reasonable prices. Worth the drive from Calgary. Would absolutely recommend! Overall great experience every time.

LOVE THIS CLINIC! I live in the city and drive to Strathmore just so they can treat my babies! I Can’t say enough great things about them! And I highly recommend them to everyone!

I brought my dog here to get his paw examined. The vet literally looked at it for a few seconds and suggested I washed it with a surgical scrub that I should purchase from them. She also recommended that I buy PURINA (a very horrible brand of kibble) to switch my dogs diet.

I paid them $100 for the two second examination and $30 for the surgical scrub that did nothing.

A year later and my dog still has what I think is a cyst on his paw and I find out that it could be cancerous!

I emailed them and asked them to properly examine my dogs paw since they couldn’t be bothered to the first time and they said they would but I had to pay again. Why would I pay again when I already paid for something they were supposed to do?

They were heartless and seemed to only care about money. She didn’t even care about my dogs paw. I hope no one ever uses them again and they go out of business.

Incredibly disappointed in this place. I have 2 dogs that have gone to this vet over the last 5 years, they have always been great and prices are reasonable. This morning one of my dogs needed them and they couldn’t find the time of day to help her. They didn’t even care enough to ask what was going on. I understand they get busy and booked up, but when an emergency happens to your clients the least you could do is give them 5 minutes of your time to figure out if there’s at least something you could do. I will never step foot in this place again. They really showed how much they actually “care” about there customers today.

I recently moved to Medicine Hat and when I called around to get my dog in for an emergency, I kept getting denied. So my last resort was Strathmore and they did not disappoint. The doctor was amazing and very informative plus the front desk was very friendly.

I have brought my little fur baby here for 13 years. Yes, I prefer to drive all the way from Calgary to Strathmore because this clinic is that good!
I have referred a number of my friends and their pets to this clinic because the Vets here truly care about pets and give practical advice and care without breaking the bank.
Even when my dog was in a terrible place because of a major infection, they kept her and I calm last year and she pulled through an emergency operation smoothly.
If you are looking for a clinic filled with people who care and have the skills to keep your pet safe and healthy, then this is the clinic for you; distance be damned.

UPDATE- My little fur baby had to be put down here. It was finally time. I was impressed with the level of humanity and compassion that I was shown for my little Bebe's passing. It was a calm and intimate experience that I appreciated very much during this straining time.

Took us in as we discovered a tick in our dogs ear traveling from Saskatchewan - had us back on the road in 10 mins while we were heading west! Thank you so much!

This place is amazing. My dog slipped her collar outside, it was like the whole clinic shut down to find and get her. They helped find her in less than 10 minutes

Best vet clinic I have been to! They do not force unneeded treatments and explain everything with a lot of detail.

Great Service. The girls were amazing with my border collie/Shepard. She is very people scared (we try and socialize as much as possible) but they were very calm and understanding with her. The vet even had me stay with her to continue keeping her calm while the anesthesia kicked in. She's at home now and recovering well:) I did put in a call today just in regards to her incision, Sara was very reassuring on the phone and explained the post operation cleaning they do and that it's likely just some dry blood but she would still have a vet look at the photos I sent over. Overall I am very impressed with the service and care my dog received

Took this cute little monster there.the vet was so great.very patient and non aggressive which is so important in dealing with Chows. Will definitely bring him back along with the rest of the pack. Even Chewey walked out happy and bit no one.

Our puppy was so well taken care of during his vaccine and microchipping! The vet that helped was amazing, and was very knowledgeable and patient to the dozens of questions I asked. We're coming back for the next doses of vaccines, but the comfort of having the best hospitality just makes the drive from the city worthwhile.

Great service and worth the drive. It's about 1hr away from me but I went to get my dog fixed and they had the best price. He also got a small infection and to save me the drive they asked for pictures and we were able to get some antibiotics for him through another vet clinic.

Thank you for being so wonderful to our pets. The vet is always so kind and responsive to every question I have and I leave feeling at ease and like my pets are receiving the best possible care.

What a place, staff are the best, first time there. My cat (Bubba) was treated like as if he was there cat, so with that said we have a new vet in Strathmore for my dog (Gracie) and Bubba, see you at the vets. STAY SAFE EVERY BODY

Took my little dog there for neuter. They are great! Not only do they tattoo when neutering, but they also do complimentary nail trim. Took really good care of my dog, and made sure to follow up with me the next day to check on him. This will be my go to get from now on. Their prices are so much better than in the city, and the staff are great!

Felt like we mattered. Dr. Miguel Moncayo was very kind and thoughtful, and took the time to chat with me about what my dog might be allergic to, considering his history. He made suggestions that have helped my dog, Chase, once again. Thanks Dr. Monday.

Our current vet is shut down for 2 weeks very suddenly. I tried to call to see if they had food that we could purchase and the lady on the phone refused to sell us food for our cats. She stated that they are unable and unwilling to, unless they have seen them previously.

I'm from Calgary, and I always take my girls (2 dogs, Cookie and Polly) to the Strathmore clinic! Very helpful and the vet doctors are great with them! Highly recommend this vet clinic!

Friendly staff. They have worked out an efficient way of handling pet needs while keeping minimal contact with people during Covid. I recently had my dog neutered at Strathmore Vet Clinic at a fraction of the cost in Calgary.

Very friendly, honest doc here. We brought our orange tabby out from Calgary for oral surgery. The price was as quoted for 11 extractions and cleaning the rest.
Our cat came out of surgery just fine, and recovered well at HALF of what we were quoted from 2 city clinics.

Thanks to the entire team, and the ability to use paybright to finance our procedure.

Took my girl to be spayed after doing research and reading reviews. All went well I only wish the vet had called to explain the process also wish someone had called after procedure to let me know it went ok. Only call I got was the one to say she was ready to be picked up.

I have been bringing my pets here for the last 8 years. I totally trust them to give my dog the best care possible. When I had to put my older dog down they were incredibly compassionate and sensitive to the situation and I was able to have a vet from the clinic come to my home so that my dog could be in the comfort of her own bed.

There are always professional and great people to deal with awesome place highly recommend going to them for all your pets needs

Had our boy Jaxx in to get neutered. We were concerned as he had retained testicles and know it was a more invasive surgery. They were great in making us feel at ease. Explanation of procedure and medications after was very thorough and follow up calls on how he was doing were great. Thank you!

This is the best Vet clinic. All the staff are amazing, from the receptionist to the doctors. They really care about pets.

The service and their knowledge is just fantastic. They care for your animals as if they are their own.

One of the less expensive vet clinics in the area. Have had 2 animals fixed in the last year here and both surgeries have turned out great!

Edit: this was until they couldn't be bothered to communicate the way they were working appointments during COVID-19. Very disappointed in the service I got on my last visit.

Nice, clean, open, welcoming place and staff. They let you know what's happening and if they are delayed with emergencies, etc.

Very respectful of those saying farewell to their fur babies, by putting out a candle and sign alerting those entering of the situation.

We came in here today with our cat, he was 18 years old & it was his time to go. The vet & nurse made it very comfortable for us although it was a very very hard thing to go through. We’re glad that our little guy was in good hands. They have a great team here.

It's easy to praise these good people. Since I moved out here in 1995, I and my cats have been treated with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion. Even when the news was bad (for Durin: 1983-1996 and for Spanky: 1984-2003 and later for Max: 2003-2018), I was gently told the truth about what could be done and (later) what would have to be done. Tommy and Dusty are the last two cats. I will trust their health and welfare to no one else. God bless these wonderful people.

We had a run in with a porcupine. My poor dog Badger did not fare well. We called ahead and they got us in fast. Great and efficent service. No nonsense Vets and staff. Well priced care! Ty everyone. Badger will good as new and hunting again soon.

What an amazing team! So many times they've gone above and beyond to accommodate our pet family, like arranging their schedule around ours for when we had to let our Stevie go ahead and so we could all be with him, coming to the house so he could be at home. And then today, with Phranc, I was thinking I'd have to have a house call to get his microchip in, and they helped me get him organized to take him in and wrapped the team around him when we got there. I've never seen a team so committed to the happiness of the animals and those of us who love them! ALWAYS above and beyond what one would ever hope to expect! Thank you all for being the amazing caregivers you are. It means so much to know whose hands our pets are in.
