StreetSide Developments Edmonton

I had a questions about the source of a few products used on a home that was constructed a number of years ago and affiliated with StreetSide. I made a phone call, left a voicemail, and shortly after received a call back from Shawn Kosowan. When I told Shawn that I was information I was looking for, he told me the address of the home before I had time to say it first. Shawn had instant answers to my questions without missing a beat and took time to share a bit of additional insight. When I left a voicemail, I didn't even expect a callback, and to say my expectations were exceeded, doesn't give enough credit to Shawn and the positive impression he left.

I have recently purchased a property from StreetSide Developments so it may be too early to write a review on the property itself. However, I am very pleased with the quality of service provided by their sales, design, and service team over the past five months. I am happy with my beautiful townhome, my peaceful neighbourhood, and the good value for money. I am especially grateful for the timely delivery of the home and even expediting the process to accommodate my tight schedule. Special thank you to Tricia Urick, from the sales team, for her kind and timely support! I strongly recommend StreetSide Developments to all home buyers.

My girlfriend and I purchased a property with Streetside this summer using Darius as our rep and he was fantastic. Accommodated our requests to the best of his ability and went above and beyond what was expected of his role to give us assistance outside of his responsibilities. Would use Streetside again in the future.

Had the pleasure of working with Hans for my first time home purchase! Was super patient with me through the entire process and was very kind to my family. Originally was looking last year and then decided to hold off until this year. Hans always followed up with me up until when I was ready! Thanks for everything!

Hans is amazing to deal with, very informative, not pushy and goes on or above with all the information needed to make a decision.

Looked at a new townhouse in West Secord, was told by Darius that we could have AC installed but turns out we couldn’t when we inquired further because only the first and last group of units have enough grid power to have built in AC. We were also told that Streetside only deals with one buyer at a time they don’t do multiple offers. Only to find ourselves in that exact position. My realtor has also had many issues with Streetside. Overall this company feels super shady and took them 5 days to tell us they were going with the other buyer. And when called out on the only deal with one offer at a time was advised that we just must not want the property as bad as the other buyer.

Did not tell any buyers about duplex development on a small patch of grass inside our apartment building condominium

I highly recommend Streetside Developments. Tricia, Kelsy and the team are awesome. Being a first time home buyer, it has been a great experience.

Holes in boards from cranes, can't cut out a hole for a receptacle, dented HVAC. This is during the beginning stages of a build. I tried resolving these issues with the rep and site supervisor and there is no resolution. I sent these pictures to the company and I haven't received a response. So now I am taking these issues public. Please be careful when using this builder.

I regret working with Streetside development, which also links itself with Qualico-Homes Edmonton. They are Unprofessional, full of hidden charges, and cheap fixtures in a home. And will coerce you into using their Lawyer which is PDS law who is there to misguide you by rushing you into signing papers, and further overcharging you by their own negligence.

By the time you can discover their scams, you are already locked into it!

As a first-time home buyer like myself, they will take advantage of your ignorance of the buying market to scam you! The raters that are giving these guys a good review more than likely works for them. Because no one who has truly experienced them will rate them well! They will shoved you around to multiple people and branches when you start to question them. Hidden hidden charges and scams! Be Very Mindful in dealing with these guys! I am now goi be to pursue legal actions against them!

I built with Street Side almost a year ago now. I love my house and so far the year has been great. My sales manager Amir was awesome to deal with, very kind and helpful throughout the process. I would recommend him to anyone building with Street Side. My design centre day was another highlight, the ladies in there made the day stress free and fun. They guided me when I had trouble choosing selections and I love how the interior of my home turned out. I also have to say their warranty team has been great too. I had noticed a couple of minor things to be fixed (to be expected with a new build) and they got their team out right away to take a look. Especially James on the warranty team was great! He came by and noted all of my concerns and answered every question. Very happy with my Street Side experience and everyone I’ve dealt with on team.

BUYERS BEWARE.

Purchased a home in 2021. I should be on payroll with how much work I’ve had to do to figure everything out when things go wrong. I was promised five year warranty on appliances, me being a first time home buyer, I was unaware of how this looked on a contract. Sure enough it’s been 19 months and now my appliance that needs a service isn’t under warranty. In addition to multiple furnace exhaust issues including my furnace shutting off every day last winter and not able to get it to restart, I was the messenger owl and to go between between Streetside and STAR. So much so that when I’d call either one they’d tell me to call the other to tell them x, y, or z. Honestly this whole experience has been horrendous. I had no reference point prior in terms of what a good home buying experience is but this was far from it. As a first time home buyer this was not exciting by any means. Even after the purchase, there are still issues, and everything about it is such a headache. I would give 0 stars if I could.
