I had my hair trimmed and few days later make up done for an event. The owner was friendly and did a great job with my hair cut! Emma was sweet and also did a great job with my make up too! Thank you! This will defonate be my go to salon from now on!

I had a tattoo that I did during grief and want to keep some points of it in the new piece
Mike was the only one that would say yes? I can do it. Every other tattoo artist, I've talked to you had said no. Boy was i glad that i came to him. Not only did he slay that tattoo cover but he allso was able to keep parts that mean some much to me. He is so talanted. Also while i was there i was watching some great extentions being put in. I would recommend any serives here. It was a nice, crisp, clean atmosphere that kept me comfortable and at ease at all times.

Worst haircut of my life. I asked for a one length shoulder skimming blunt Bob, so elementary I could have done it myself, and she hacked my hair up with some sections only 3 inches long on one side and 5 inches on the other, 6 inches up front, and to my chin. It puffs up and falls flat in the weirdest way. It’s longer on one side than the other, my daughter said I look like Elastigirl. I’m absolutely devastated. Feel like putting a bag over my head. It’s been 2 weeks and I can’t do a thing with it. Told the owner and she said “oh, I can see what she was going for, come in and I’ll blend it some more”. No Thanks! Why would I want MORE layers? ! It’s going to take 6 months to a year to outgrow this shredded hair. I cancel plans, have to wear a hat to work because I can’t pull it back. It’s so embarrassing and I’ve never cried so much over a haircut.

*in response- it looks nothing, absolutely nothing like the reference photo I showed you. I have had a bob several times in my life and loved it. It is not shock from losing 12” of length, I’ve done that many times before. It is SHREDDED, that is my issue. Uneven layers everywhere when I asked for none. I said she could air out the very bottom, but she put uneven layer’s everywhere. I’ve never had a Bob look like a triangle. But that would even be more tolerable then this.

I Googled 5 star hairdressers in Spruce Grove, then read through the reviews and chose Jonna at Strut & The Other Side to cut my hair. I have long hair and want a good trim and worry that they will cut more hair than necessary. Jonna showed me how much hair should be cut, before going ahead and cutting. Jonna is an amazing hairdresser, and my hair looks fabulous. I highly recommend Jonna, I know I’ll be back! Thank you Jonna!

Will never recommend this place because the owner is very unprofessional. You don’t remember me being a client and you will never have the pleasure. How you handle the situation with a 17 year old client is shameful.

My hair went from a total mess to beautiful all thanks to Amanda? Not only did she cut and style my hair, but she also gave me good tips on how to take better care of it at home! I got bangs for the first time since I was a teenager, and I am so very happy with it overall. Thank you and I can't wait for my next visit

I’ve been seeing Jonna for a couple of years now for brow threading and recently tried powdered ombré brows. She did an amazing job and I am so happy with the results! I highly recommend this salon!
