Studio J Urban Spa

This Studio J Spa is world-class. I had a spa facial manicure and the therapist was quite technical. Megan gave me a wholistic experience, the scent before and after, the added relaxation music along with a massage enhanced the facial experience.

Megan was AMAZING! Really helpful in explaining what exact products to use to help keep my face looking good. This was my first time getting a facial done and she made the whole experience so comfortable and so relaxing. Wish I could give her 10 out of five stars instead.

It is my first time to do the facial. Megan is amazing! She is so kind and very professional. She knows a lot about how to care about the skin, and what kind if skin product I should use. Definitely go with Megan if you want to improve your skin quality. She is also very care about her clients. Very good experience! Good job, Megan!

This is my second visit at this place. My first experience with Julia went well which was why I returned. Julia is very kind and attentive and would highly recommend her if you choose to visit.

Today however, I was with Marissa who injured two of my toes because she was rushing. She even said “my bad I have another appointment next to this one”. She didn’t apologize after that. I think if you accidentally injure me first then that’s a mistake that toe was bleeding for more than 20 minutes. It is a minor injury but why is it okay to do it twice when I am paying 120 for this session? She was obviously pressed for time and never spoke to me outside of checking the temperature of the paraffin. Which is okay, but she obviously did not want to be there with me and I wouldn’t care but she did hurt my toes? ! I feel extremely petty about being so mad but this place is expensive and I feel like if I pay 100+ dollars I expect to not be hurt or at least receive an apology. While I was complaining to her coworker, marissa decided to walk out to prep for her more important appointment. Thanks a lot.

This place is also way to busy to receive a complaint when I asked to speak to the manager because they are behind with appointments, I would suggest you don’t overbook, because I can’t believe this place would be even too busy to talk to one of their paying customers.

I should say, that if marissa apologized then and there for the first toe and been more careful because filing my skin is painful I would have said the service was fine but I can’t believe a hundred plus service made me feel sp unbelievably unworthy of someone’s care and time.

I have had numerous Brazilian waxes at Studio J (with various aestheticians) over the years, and have never been disappointed. The quality and speed of each service has been excellent, and I find their technique to be a lot less painful than past experiences I've had at other spas.

I would 10/10 recommend Studio J, especially if you're nervous about trying a Brazilian for the first time. Staff are very kind and extremely professional; they always go above and beyond to make this unavoidably awkward service (lol) a totally comfortable experience!

Julia is great! Amazing pedicure and facial-so relaxing and feet feel like butter. Excellent service and a wonderful person. Will definitely be back.

I booked in same day online for a manicure while staying at a nearby hotel. The atmosphere and service was excellent, but what really impressed me was Julia. Not only did she deliver a flawless manicure, she was kind, articulate and thoughtful. Thanks Julia!

I recently went to Studio J Spa and was disappointed. My husband booked me a massage, a pedicure and manicure. The massage was…alright…not great. The mani and pedi were awful. I’ve worked in a nail salon before, as a nail tech and I couldn’t believe how awful the tech was. It was like a 5 year old was doing my nails. Cuticles were not well done and the nail polish was awful, missing colour, missing top coat. Paid over 300$ for a light massage and for a mani and pedi that didn’t even last an hour. I literally had to remove the nail polish on my hands because it was so awful and I was going out that night. I will never go back nor would I recommend going there. If you do…avoid Ashley at all costs.

This Spa is world-class. I had a basic manicure and Julia is excellent. Julia is aspiring to take medical esthetics.her journey is going great as my manicure was performed perfectly.

I had the most beautiful facial ever at studio J this past weekend! The spa is beautiful, clean and very relaxing! My skin has never felt better! The estitician that did my service was Amanda and she was great. The gave me the most amazing facial massage ever. Her technique was impeccable! I would 100% go back here again for other services as well!

Excellent professional and efficient. My esthtician was so kind and attentive - she really took a moment to listen to what I wanted done and what I wanted the final look to be.

I went in to get my lashes done by Taylor and my experience was amazing. She was super friendly and did an amazing job. Go see Taylor for anything, she’ll treat you right! The place was also super clean, beautiful and relaxing.

I've always had good experiences at this spa. The work is done well and the service is very professional. The surroundings are very clean, comfortable and relaxing.

Me and my husband both got facials done by Amanda, she goes above and beyond. She is professional, has great attention to detail and makes you feel so calm and relaxed. I have super sensitive skin and my husband has the opposite, she came up with a customized facial for each of us that targeted our skins needs and that left our skin feeling amazing and looking beautiful! Amanda at Studio J Urban Spa was so delightful, professional and talented! Recently had a custom facial from her and will definitely be a return client. She had a very relaxing presence and my skin felt so thoroughly soothed and refreshed afterwards. Very adept as assessing my skin and matching it with appropriate products.

Studio J is efficient with their bookings and service upon arrival. The atmosphere is friendly, clean, and inviting. A bit of a hidden gem actually. Amanda performed my pedicure and I was very pleased with my service that I try to make a habit of visiting the spa when I am in the area. The pricing is industry standard, but I recommend watching for any promotions, they seem to happen frequently.

Beautiful spa downtown with above par service. This is the place to go if you want to be pampered. This is where you need to go for that ‘self care’ we all need!

This spa is the best place to go to if you are unsure about ANY service anywhere else! The estheticians take care of you and listen to what your concerns are regarding your skin, nails, feet, brows, etc. Their skincare line is affordable and you actually get the results you want if you follow the home care.:)

I love how calm and refreshing the space is! I am always satisfied with the quality of service when I leave:) Taylor and Amanda both do a great job. Even if the downtown area isn’t necessarily where you would normally go for spa services, it would be worth the visit for sure.

A great place to be pampered. I went for a 60 minute relaxing manicure. I had had hand surgery a few weeks before and my tech was very gentle. This was the best manicure I have had by far. They also offer a great range of skin care and age repair services.

After seeing great reviews I booked a manicure & pedicure here. I can say the only difficult part was parking. It was THE best manicure & especially pedicure I have ever had! Kristin was not only so wonderful to connect with the few hours I was there (loved her & will be back to see her!) but no one has EVER gotten my feet that soft! Even my new boyfriend was amazed. I didn’t think it possible-like baby’s feet! I was planning on it just being for this one special occasion but she wrecked that idea for me doing too amazing of a job! Lol

Made a mistake making my appointment and they accommodated me and even stayed a little late to finish up my lashes. Such friendly staff and very relaxing and welcoming environment!

Kristen did my facial and it was fabulous. My skin looks beautiful and I feel wonderful. I wish she lived in Phoenix/Scottsdale!

I am in love with my nails. I'd show my toes too but no thanks but have my word when I say Taylor and Kristen are amazing nail techs. Kristen is a perfectionist at manis and I couldn't be happier with my nails. Taylor got an ingrown out for me and did my toes beautifully. The Manager is a super lovely lady as well, Jillian. Thank yoh Ladies. I WILL be back and I do reccomend their salon! 104$ for both mani and pedi, go on the website to see what is right for you. They have a ton of options.

Peaceful place. It is a bit expensive (for me) but I will continue going there. The girls working there are very good at their jobs. Also they present themselves very professionally and classy.

I Go to laser hair removal place here (never used the spa, but seems nice). Diligent laser technician and results
