I Visited on 21 nov 3: 30 first time having a bad experience the lady at the starting point was rude. I didn't like that behaviour. Request the manager to look into it.

Did not take kindly to the person insulting the customer before me. Nor do I know why there is a tip option when the service is below par.

Service needs a lot of work.store hours say they open at 10, no one was out front taking orders until about 10: 20.then, it was just one employee working very slowly.i was there at 10: 10 and didn’t get my meal until about 10: 35, at which point my friend had already ordered, received, and finished a meal from another place in the food court.they also don’t honour coupons at this subway, so if you’re only ordering from there because you have a good deal with a coupon, you need to go to a different location.

I will begin this by stating that mall food courts aren't exactly the pinnacle of fine dining. Excepting exceptional service and gourmet food is absolutely unreasonable within these establishments. That being said, the absolute bare minimum is an easy bar to step over. The employees at this Subway location not only dove under it, but dug a hole 40 feet into the ground in order to crawl under this hypothetical bar.

I received what is, quite possibly, the worst customer service of my entire life here. Which is surprising, considering that I did nothing to wrong the employees there. I ordered in a timely fashion, spoke clearly, and did all that I could to streamline the process. With the way I was spoken to, you'd think that the staff there had long standing issues with my presence.

Both of the employees I spoke to were extremely rude and demeaning, and they made what should be an easy process very stressful and negative. I understand that working in food service is not exactly an ideal job, and can often be quite difficult, but it is very easy not to go out of your way to be rude to customers.

Credit where credit was due, my sandwich was pretty good. But that's because it was made with my direction. I will not be returning to this location.

The lady who is trainee service was horrible. No smile, no greeting. She was cleaning when I was there. And she did not finish till 5 minutes after. But her face looked like she doesn't want to work here. Don't understand if she is trainee and does not know this minimum behaviour at least put someone with her. The other girl was at the back on her break. It was 7 pm. No wonder there was no customer. I'm not going back there again. I'm paying for the food, it feels like she is doing favors to me. Horrible service

On 1 july around 6 pm, i want to share my experience that was horrible like my friend ordered a wrap chicken tryaki there was punjabi lady who was serving like she put chicken on one side and sauce at bottom and olives, picke on other side and did not fold properly. I don’t think so this is acceptable because food should be tasty. I don’t think so i will come again here.i got it that was closing time but this will never acceptable.

Absolutely horrible service, the staff were too busy visiting to helpfully assist customers.when ordering the staff would walk away from you mid conversation or cut you off. After asking staff for additional lettuce in my Salad I was told “we don’t add extra” and I was left with a quarter full salad that I paid full price for, Would not recommend this location at all.

ZIRO STAR, l ordered sweet onion chicken, and l found the chicken with beef. And the chicken was not cooked enough.
Also, the service was very rude.

I have mixed feelings about this place, and after coming here a few times. This place is Mediocre at best. But I’ll still give it ️️️️️ and Don’t expect too much, if you do, your setting your bar too high, remember where you are at an Edmonton Mall Food court (that should say it all)

Somedays like all businesses, you have some good and you have bad days. A good business with strive for consistency and not let emotion get in the way of the business.

I believe I did witness that with this place, one instance that comes to mind was when I came for a crispy chicken, rice bowl. And the staff gave me trouble for not having proper identification to get a certain discount, because I work at the mall, however, it was clear that I worked at the mall because I was wearing my uniform and I had my name tag.when we discussed the issue, they simply commented go to customer service and get the proper identification.

Now this is where my whole experience took a weird turn, because according to Customer Service, proper identification, is not necessary when you’re clearly working at the mall, so there seems to be a huge disconnect between subway and Southgate and the correct information.

So I had to go on a, weird side mission getting proper identification and proof that I worked at mall. Customer Service involved and my place of work. We did get this result, and in my most recent visit the whole issue with My Work and proper identification was never addressed again. How odd? So what changed, it was the same person who gave me trouble in the first place but, my most recent visit I had no trouble.

My story aside, I am here to review the food not let my personal feelings get in the way of doing this review justice. The food was good. I was very surprised on how delicious I made my tuna sandwich. Sweet onion and peppercorn ranch is an amazing combination and you should absolutely try it on your tuna sandwich.my sandwich was made properly despite encountering somewhat hesitation when asking for extra veggies.

Let me ask you this: Is it OK for a customer to ask for extra veggies? Do most of you who may read this review ask for more veggies? Are we as customers entitled to more veggies? Tell me if I’m wrong.

I have been to many other subways in. This was never the problem but here in this place, it felt like they were being frugal and rationing ingredients for a proper subway sandwich.

So once again, I reiterate what I said earlier… I have mixed feelings with this place. I’m most likely going to come back here again because that tuna sandwich was amazing. I’m definitely going to try the same thing that I did before where I asked for extra veggies, extra green peppers extra spinach. And we’ll see if they continue to judge me and make me feel a little bit uncomfortable then perhaps I will choose not to come here anymore. But in the meantime, looking for healthy alternatives, I ask Southgate Center to please find another vendor that offers healthy food perhaps better than Subway.

With much hesitation, I will come back and order some thing from this place. I do hope for my sake that they experience gets better, maybe through a few more sandwiches, and a few more encounters, they may warm up to me, but for now, because the sandwich was good. I will give it a five star rating.

But please, for those of you who are coming here to order a Subway sandwich be prepared to be disappointed, be surprised, and when reality sets in just look around, you’re in a mall in Edmonton. This is probably as good as it’s going to get. Edmonton is not known for good food.

Even I dnt want to give a single star to these people. I ordered two veggie subs, first girl avoid to change her gloves she was using same gloves for beef and then was touching veggie sub I ordered. Then I told her plz change your gloves. Then she told me ya I am gonna change. Then the other lady babita started to make veggie sub started to put in veggie. She was putting veggies in sun as she dsnt want to put anything. I felt I just giving money for an empty bun hhahaha. There were veggie in sun just for the name. Then all the veggie were tasting superb good as they didn’t change or using it from yesterday. Taste was horrible. So I dnt know who is the owner of this subway need talk to staff. Customers are paying for services not for this kind of stuff.

It so frustrating that we order for a sandwich for my son and the two server are talking in thier language Indians without pay attention what we want in our sandwich
I felt in respectful doing that in front of us bad service.

I ended up getting a piece of rock hard plastic in my food as a part of my meal and in return broke the retainer bonded to my teeth the manager told me they will do nothing to help me as it's not their problem this problem is costing me $550 out of pocket This store needs to get shut down
