Sucre Patisserie & Cafe (Mark on 10th)

Annoying, rude staff; they rush your order; avoid trying to help you. Even if you picking up an order they can't be bother to say a word to you; but just ring you up. I NEED THE ORDER TO BE CORRECT, JUST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS; I brought an entire cake.

This location is terrible; just go to the Centre Street location

I only ordered the two fruity desserts below as well as the chocolate dessert. These three were amazing and would definitely come back.

Best almond croissant u will ever have! The coffee is awesome and best price for the pastries and beverages you get! Love it!

A place where everything is perfect After eating the cake, I kept thinking about it and bought it again I love it because it's not sweet and refreshing. Kids love it too

Lousy customer service. Be prepared to waste your time in this place. The employees don't see you and if they do they don't care about wasting your time. The products of this place are mostly composed of pure butter and sugar… I tried many times but they are definitely a disaster.

It's a cute cafe/bakery I stumbled by while walking through downtown. I was wanting something small and sweet and as I browsed their displays their macarons really stood out. I don't usually buy macarons because they can be pretty pricey but they actually package their damaged macarons and sell them for cheaper! That was perfect for me and satisfied my sweet tooth for the day. Their macarons are very flavourful, the lychee one really stood out to me. Even the regular vanilla one was fragrant and memorable. I think my 5 damaged but delicious macarons were $5.50 before tax!

Great croissants and coffee. Highly recommend their almond croissants and the cappuccinos. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely wonderful Strawberry cheese cake! Melt in your mouth cheesecake and the jam on top was full of flavour! The cookie was pretty yummy too!

Probably the best bakery I have encountered. I work across the street and it’s definitely showing me how little self control I have when it comes to amazing pastries. Just know that you have a good portion of my paycheque every week!

Best almond croissant must try. Other desserts are good too like the rose lychee misu cup. The spinach & feta croissant is really good too.

Sucre is the best thing about Calgary. The pastries are absolutely amazing, so fresh and high quality. The coffee is great (especially the cappuccino). It smells like a French pasty shop the second you walk in. I love that it’s not like every other coffee shop in Calgary - it has a European vibe and you can tell that the quality in the product is there. I’ve been going to Sucre for over a year now and it’s the best part of my week.

Well if you would like a pastry that makes you feel like you’re in France, you may have to try out their beautiful pastries. You could tell when a bakery makes everything with love, and this is the place to enjoy it!

Absolutely divine croissants and really any puff pastry! Excellent coffee and sandwiches. Sucre combines the decadence of a lazy brunch with the lets grab a quick bite to eat. Luxurious flavors! I always loved their cakes but never got to try the rest till now. I know I have found my go-to café!

This is a lovely French bakery and cafe that offers a wide variety of tasty macaroons - I tried the pistachio and it was super delicious and fresh.

Excellent coffee program- beans are from Matchstick in Vancouver, first source in Calgary. Pastries are mostly excellent- my fave are the banana and caramel scones and I normally loathe banana flavoured anything!

Updated many years later now, March 3 2023: the Cuban sandwich is heavenly, with the best melt in your mouth roast pork I've ever tasted. Just sublime.

The product was ok but the delivery service was the worst. Order a cake one day ago to be delivered between 11 am to 3 pm. It was for a birthday party.
All the guests were waiting I phoned at 3 pm they said it was picked 12 pm but the delivery driver is not picking up the calls.
The delivery finally picked up the call and keep on insisting that she delivered already. All the guests have been waiting for one and a half hour, finally she brought it at 4: 30 pm. The worst of all delivery service.

My company orders an array of treats, pretty much every meeting. I've bypassed all the temptation for 5 months (keto and all) But then. THIS. OMG, I really don't know what I picked but it was a flaky pastry, a beautiful custard filling with chocolate. ABSOLUTELY amazing. Worth every single carb.

Had chocolate obsession cake. It tasted nothing I’m afraid. Hugely disappointed. What a waste of my taste buds and money. (it’s around $7 something)

They did our wedding cake it was amazing. All our guests loved it. Service is always wonderful.

Came in and no one acknowledged us whatsoever for 10 min. The one girl jus t stayed at the espresso machine and didn’t look up or say Hi. We waited and waited and waited and finally just walked out. PATHETIC customer service and zero friendliness.

Cakes are not diverse. There are a lot of customers so you maybe have to wait and the place is a bit narrow, but the cakes are delicious.so I go again.

I love that this place is within close proximity to my work! Their pastries are heavenly, love the classic hazelnut and banana chocolate croissants. I recommended Sucre to my friends and colleagues, a hit each time.
