Had a consultation here and the salesman basically shamed me for not knowing exactly what I wanted. He then told me that he wants a referral from me if I bought a suit from there. Not friendly at all and a brutal experience if you're looking for some actual input from an "expert".

It is my first time getting a tailor made suit and it is for my wedding. The entire process was very pleasant. I was on a tight schedule and he was able to provide me the suit in the timeline that they promise.

Not to mention the person who did my suit was very professional and know his stuff around suits. Cause I have little knowledge to a suit. The person basically walked me through the entire process. And he was able to made any kind of suit, you just have to let him know.

Overall it is an amazing suit and gave me a huge boost of confidence at my wedding and not to mention I like fresh as hell.

To anyone trying to get a suit here, I highly recommended it but only one thing to mention is the guy doesn't like to talk as much. Do not expect a full on enthusiastic conversation. He will still answer questions and made suggestions if you ask him but at the end of the day, you are getting what your money worth and he will get the job done and do it phenomenally well.

(P. S. I requested my pants to be that short, it is not a mistake)

It was a great experience! I was treated very well in the process of getting my
Suit fitted. As well as that the gentleman has very good insight in selections of styles and colours along the way.

Advertises suits as if they are custom made in Canada but the orders are shipped out and made in China. Also uses your email to advertise their other business they operate (Edmonton International Beer Fest) without consent violating privacy.

Entire process from start to finish was above expectations. Figured it would just be another suit but this time custom fit…. Not the case at all. Sean makes you feel like a million bucks from the minute you walk in and all the way through pickup day.
He just knows his product and craft so well that you have full confidence in him from the start.
I’ve bought some expensive name brand suits before and always thought that would be as good as it gets, I was completely wrong. A custom made suit by Sean is 110% the way to go if you want to stand out while everyone else looks the same.
Price point was also great for the quality of suit you get with all the attention to detail and knowledge behind each piece as well. Timelines were exactly as told too, no delays at all.

I came to Curtis Eliot after having little luck finding what I wanted elsewhere and I’m so glad I did.

The fabrics are all high quality and the selection is staggering - you can be as wild or as tame as you like. I was able to get exactly what I was looking for, lining and all.

As someone with atypical proportions, finding clothing that fits well is challenging, and suiting has been always been a massive struggle. Turnaround was super quick, and when my suit came it fit me like a glove. The feeling and confidence that comes with wearing a suit that was literally made for you can’t be overstated.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a suit of equivalent quality at the same price anywhere else. The value of a custom suit from Curtis Elliot absolutely can’t be beat.

Horrible customer service and poor business practices. Alterations for suit not done correctly and multiple alternations not covered.

Their core business is obtaining low cost product and upselling. Do not trust them to measure you because it's not in their best interest financially to measure correctly.

My experience was great. I didn’t know much about suits but I was guided through the do’s and dont’s. I was shown all my options, different amounts of buttons, vest vs no vest, having a design inside the shirt collar etc. The suit I assembled looked and felt awesome.

We had a great experience with SUITS by Curtis Eliot. They explained the entire process and helped us pick suits that we are excited to wear on our wedding day.

The customer service of this store has significantly dropped. My first time here I got everything I wanted and my suit was completely custom. When I got my second suit I was apprehensive about the discussions we were having about the fit. When it arrived I said I wanted it let out in some spots to be more comfortable and was just told that's how it's supposed to be. I can get an uncomfortable suit for cheaper off the rack. Doubt I will be going back.

This place exceeded my expectations by far! Nana read my mind in every little detail I was looking for. When I got the suit I was all smiles when I tried it on in person. Seriously will be recommending and using these guys in the future. First try no alterations required they really do nail it first try. I feel boss when I wear suit. Nana even had my nick name & name sewn in small little areas inside that was a nice surprise and obviously no extra charge.

This place is an excellent stop for a suit of any kind. I now have a unique grad suit that I’ll cherish for a long time. Though it’s a bit on the pricey side it’s worth every single penny!

Absolutely amazing experience! Went in with no expectations and was absolutely blown away by the service Nana provided. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the products but he is understanding and extremely patient as I originally had no real idea what I wanted in a trench coat and overcoat. The quality is amazing but the service provided will bring me back.

These guys are supposed to be the specialists and experts in suit making. I went to them at their Edmonton location sometime 1st week of February 2020 to order a suit for my son.

Appointment 1:
Nana Kwame was the consultant. Measurements were taken and things went well. The suit was ordered at a cost of $830. Despite the concerns in delay in delivery due to COVID situation in China, we got the email informing us to set up an appointment for try-out on March 3rd.
Appointment 2:
We went for the first fitting try-out so excited as it was my son’s first custom made suit. Except for the vest, everything was a disaster. Every single basic measurements of that order were way off to the short side. Detail below:

- My son is 17 years old, a skinny person. The pants were so tight that
he couldn’t even pull it up. When he did it with utmost difficulty,
pants’ length was at least 3 inches short from where it should be,
- Shirt was made so tight and the sleeve length was way above the
wrist,
- Story of the Jacket sleeve wasn’t good either. Again, so short, way
above the wrist.
We are talking about just the basic measurements here and we were utterly disappointed.
Limrah was the guy who helped us with fitting, and I could watch the frustration on his face. His comment was, “ he can’t wear this, we will try to fix it, there’s only so much we could do depending on the slack available. We are such a company that if it’s bad we will just make you a new one”. Re-measurements taken and we were sent home.
COVID was at its full swing and we didn’t hear from them until I called wondering the status mid of June. A guy named Sean picked up the phone looked up and said your suit is ready. Set up the appoint for that weekend.
Appointment 3:
Went there and Sean himself attended us. Following was the result of the 2nd fixing:
- Pants looked just ok (accepted.though expected a slightly loose fit
as my son is skinny),
- Shirt sleeve still bad not satisfactory at all (I believe that’s all they
could do as no more slack available),
- Jacket sleeves were still not at where it should be, at-least an inch
and a half above the upper end of the wrist (Again, I believe that’s all
they could as there wasn’t enough slack to fix)

We were sent home promising to fix (In Sean’s terms, these are all the process of alterations in making a suit. For me, it was not an alteration but a desperate attempt to fix the screw-up in the initial basic measurements inputted into the computer (Nana took the measurements and inputted all those numbers into the computer at once from his memory at the end. As well, he boasted about his memory and number skills to us. By the way, I’m a Chartered Professional Accountant and I know how easily people make mistakes with inputting numbers).
Two weeks passed, nothing heard again, so I called to check in. Sean answered and said, “since you weren’t happy with the sleeve length of the suit, we are doing a complete re-do of the sleeves and it should be ready in 2 weeks”. Appointment set on July 25,2020.

Appointment 4:
Went there for the fourth time and Sean attended us again. Following was the result of 3rd fixing:
- Jacket sleeves looked better, but the length is all the way down to
the knuckles,
- Shirt sleeves still not much improvement, still above the upper part
of the wrist,

Noticing this, I asked Sean if anything could be done to lengthen the shirt sleeves. Following was his legendary response:

“No, it was all perfect last time and you were the one wanted to lengthen the jacket sleeves”

After five months of waiting, now, my son ended up with lousy first ever custom-made suit with jacket sleeves all the way down to knuckles and shirt sleeves hidden above the wrist.

Is this the way how shirt sleeves and jacket sleeves should look? I have a dozen of them, none of them look like the one you did for my son, Mr. Sean. Had a terrible experience and money down the drain

Great from start to finish. Love the suit. Good quality material. Everything I asked for was completed just like I wanted. Highly recommend!

Unbelievable experience. They guys were very professional and the custom suits came in on the timeline they mentioned. We didn’t need any alterations to our suits. They nailed our dimensions when we had our fitting. Can’t wait to go back!

I had a terrible experience with getting suits from here. I was getting a suit for my wedding and my groomsmen. Several fittings and alterations later and the suits were still wrong. Will never deal with them again.

My 3 piece suit turned out great and I'm sure I'll wear it again for different personal and professional events in the future. Only issue I had was the custom button up shirt neck was way too small and I couldn't button up all the way with my tie.
