I spent 5 days dealing with this registry before I finally got fed up and went to Ellerslie registry, where they were able provide what I needed in 20 mins. Went in for a simple license change from Nova Scotia to Alberta.

Please retrain your staff including managers so that people do not have to go through what I experienced here.

I drive out of my way to come to this registry. They are always so polite and kind, but they really went above and beyond when my grandparents needed their IDs renewed. They were extremely accommodating of their needs.

I have never given a bad review but unfortunately this place deserves it. I came in to simply get new registration put under my own name. Since I got the insurance that morning I did not have a policy number yet. The man that was helping me was persistent that I needed to have it even though my insurance company was on the phone confirming my binder status and assuring him that no policy number is needed. After waiting in line for 20 minutes and standing at the desk with no answers for another 20 I took my information and went to a different registry. They were able to give me registration within minutes with no questions asked. Waste of my time

Dabeer is the greatest guy, give great serviceto me. Am really satisfied from his service. That guy needs raise up and promotion

I applied for my Alberta health care card on January 20th, 2023, I filled out the form and did the process that was indicated for the person who helped me that day, she says it would take two weeks to get the card in my mailbox but I did not receive anything.

One month later I came to the laboratory to get some tests I need. The lady in the lab told me my Alberta health care is not active, and I should pay for my tests.

I called Summerside registry trying to understand what is happening as I did the process. After a talk with 3 different people and waiting in they ask me what form I filled out. And is supposed I did not fill out the right form that my husband should sign.

I don’t need to know the form. And, I just filled out the form it was provided to me that day expecting the person who help me that day to know the process properly.

Now I need to wait to get my doctor's appointments and my lab test just because someone did not give me the right form.
This situation is pal frustrating because, in case of an accident or emergency, I should pay all the medical bills just for this “little” mistake, I should assume all the consequences because someone did not give me the right information.

They offered me to pay an expedited mail to get my Alberta healthcare as soon as possible. Even when it was their fault I should pay and assume the consequences for their mistakes.

Worst registry in Edmonton. Bunch of lazy people working here. It took me an hour to renew my registration.

If you need to incorporate a new alberta business this is the place to go! They have a custom form that makes the process clear and concise. Super well laid out with example Appendices you can use all ready to go. Very easy to understand and we walked out with our incorporation documents right then and there. No having to wait 2-3 days and drive back. I’ve incorporated a few business over the past 15 years and this was the easiest by far. Worth the drive across the city!

If you can, never book your class 5 Road test in this registry. They will fail you on purpose. EXAMINER #11569. He is the rudest, unprofessional and racist person i have ever seen, there is no adjective that can describe him. Hire people who know their work and take these unprofessionalist from the registry. It is not only him also the Examiner #10777 is same as this one. They will shout when you are driving and make you anxious.

I don’t want to rant to all staff of Summerside registry thumbs up to them. Just to pin point Examiner 11569 at Road test. He’s so rude, arrogant and high hand IDK what adjectives meant to you Sir. He’s insisting to accelerate coz there’s a car behind me? Even i saw posted 35kp/h at curve? (Im at around 30-35kp/h) However at first I felt your disobedient. Sir one thing if you are having a bad day just stay at home. You are TOXIC.

I have been to this registry couple of times, in last few months, I got great service every time, staff was fast and explained the process and documents required in detail. Will come back for any future needs!

I already had a negative experience with this register and didn't want to go back, but I decided to give a chance.
The personnel here is quite unpleasant once more. I'm not sure if this registration makes them work for free!
I went in to renew my licence when an Asian woman (I don't know her name because she didn't had a name tag but who was wearing a black top and specs and she was at 3rd desk from the exit door) started helping me. She was really disrespectful, acting as though correcting my address would be a favour for me. Every time I asked her a question, she would make a bizarre expression. Additionally, after taking my picture for the licence, she simply left without telling me if the procedure was complete, I had to ask her when she was half way to her desk!

NO MORE CHANCES TO THIS REGISTRY!

Worst registry in edmonton! Awful and terrible road test experience! Examiner so bad and rude and not patient! His number is 11569.2015 civic!
please never do road test here if you can! So picky and dont allow you to ask the command agian! Why i have to do the uphill parking on the downhill street? And he being so rude for my question.heard about rumors that they will fail you on purpose if you dont attend to their driving school! O star if I can give!

Good communication, friendly and quick update. Also provided info and ask relevant questions to stay updated.

The people working at this registry are very rude. They don’t know how to deal with people. This is a public service job/customer service, they should learn how to deal with people. I can sense arrogance from the staff here. You need to hire better employees… if I could give you a negative rating, I would.

Poor customer service, they keep sending you back and forth. Instead they they should let you know at first place what should you bring with you at first time

If you would like to be treated like second class citizen by rude employee that shouldn’t be in the customer service department, please go there. Unhelpful, untrained, with limited knowledge. Last time they made a huge mistake on the birth certificate of my daughter, which delayed the whole process by 3 weeks. Swear to myself i wouldnt use this registry again but decide to try it again as it conveniently close to my house to just realized that it is going even more downhill. Lesson learned. Dont go there.

My first time here today. Went in to get my vehicle registered. For one, the lady at the counter that was helping us didn’t have a name tag or name anywhere on or around her desk so I cannot mention in here who I dealt with. All I know is that she had a wrinkled purple sweater on — very professional. She came across very defensive right off the bat and didn’t listen to what I needed which was to put on a specific license plate on my vehicle. She kept saying that it can’t be done and it can but she seemed to not want to do it. So now I have a brand new license plate I don’t want. Her willingness to hear out what I needed earns this places a fat 1/5 stars. Will never return and neither will any of my family members. PLUS they charge 2% on credit card use.

Best registry in town. I went in around closing time and i was worried like other registry they will refuse service. But Raman and Pawan were was too helpful. They stayed for couple more minutes and helped me register my car. I would highly recommend this registry for services.

I took two Class 5A tests in this location and I’ll share experiences on both:
1st try: Test with an East Indian male proctor; very picky about the vehicle particulars such as not liking AC, no air freshners. Supposedly one of the rules is that no recording devices are allowed, including dash cameras. My front dash camera is hard-wired into the ignition and cannot be turned off by any other means, so I only removed the SD card so it won’t save recording (dash cam gave distracting alarm throughout the test). I made a mistake during the test and he promptly told me so which resulted in test disqualification. He went over the results with me after the exam and assured me that I know what is expected of me during the exam, and that I can pass provided I correct my mistake.

2nd try: Test with an old White male proctor; flatout told me from the beginning that I would fail the exam if my facemask would slide off my face. I did all the right things from my first exam and corrected the wrong things last time so I would pass. The test seemed to have went okay, until I was told at the end that I did not do a proper uphill parking and it was an automatic fail because so-so made-up reasons that the first proctor did not even make note of. He also brought up that he ‘thought’ he saw me not properly yield and could not even remember where. He also did not review the exam with me and he just up and left after the exam after telling me I failed. I could not even open the content of the test result email to review his checklist and notes.

Your proctors are very inconsistent! Despite of the nuances of the first proctor, he at least gave me pointers on how to pass whereas the second proctor shows how much this BS program is a cash grab! Getting a non-openable attachment is just adding insult to injury as well!

Very unfriendly examiner, soon as he jumped in the car he said in a very rude tone “ if the mask falls from your nose it’s an automatic fail” that being said I was only worried abou the mask, after that he said to turn off my radio and from then on he only gave directions (left, right, straight, keep going on this lane) and not a single word more, I’ve done class 5 GDL and class 6 road tests both in Canada as well in my country and I’ve never seen someone so unfriendly basically setting you up for failure, in the end he said “ you don’t pass today “ and he went over things that I’m pretty sure I did not do and he told me that I needed to go learn how to do an uphill parking cause I didn’t had a clue, not true, I just got confused cause there was no inclination or curb in there but I ended up turning the wheels in the right direction but what ever is just setting you up for failure and make money, in the end he said that he went over the things with me so I could come back next time and I said “ I’m not coming back next time and he opened the door not even paying attention to a truck parking next to my car and then closing the door suddenly not to get hit by the truck and waited for the truck to finish parking and then left without saying a word. I guess he got upset because I told him I wouldn’t come back.

Completly unacceptable, how do you lose someones information & not inform them. I filled for health benefits with my partner together on Feb 1. My current provincial benefits expire May 1st. I recieved mine just a few weeks ago. My partner hasnt recieved anything & when calls you tell him needs to wait 3 months & now that its 3 days too the date calls again you tell them you lost it & he will have too re-apply. I expect better & now who knows where my personal information is, glad we didnt do anything else with this agency.

Update: I gave this registry a 2nd chance with our drivers licenses & it looks as if my license was rejected cause they took a poor off center photo. Cant believe this, I dont usually leave reviews but I wont be using this registry again after this.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. If I could give 0 star, I would. The clerk was so rude and impatient. As a non native speaker, I barely have a hard time understanding someone’s English but hers was horrible. When I asked her to repeat what she said, she just got sassy and super impatient just sneering at me. Maybe she had a bad day and was pregnant but that doesn’t make up an excuse for her rudeness and being unprofessional. Will never go back again.

Looks like if you are taking road test for the first time, you will automatically FAIL. This tall old white guy discuss all your mistakes but he never say anything about blind spot and mirror checking. I just found out he gave me 10 10 10 on both when I got the email. This is what we are calling milking money. Do not take here.

Slightly awkward access for parking. Got frustrated waiting because many tellers were not taking clients out of the lineup. Slow customer service.

SCAM! If you’re booking your road test here don’t take it. These guys are a bunch of scammers. They will nitpick you and find any dumb reason to fail you. Go to Mac Registry instead!

Wouldn't judge on a second time visit, just my second experience, hopefully my next experience will be Good, but this one isn’t good, first off, they resumed late, my appointment was for 9am and was told to be there 8: 30am, arrived 8: 15am to find the registry still closed with a time post led light reading, we open 9am on Saturdays, I overlooked that, hoping 8: 30am, doors will be opened, the registry didn't open until 8: 50am, as soon as they opened, they started rushing to get us to meet up with the 9am appointment.

Tester makes rude/sarcastic comments before and during test, looks for reasons to fail people and leaves more rude comments on the test paper itself, very unprofessional.

Great experience with my tester Sunil during my class 5 advance test. He was super professional and kind during the test. I would definitely recommend this location for a road test.

I had a great time doing my road test with the examiner Sunil Sharma. Sunil was a very patient man and well organized. I would highly recommend everyone going going to summer side registry as all of the staff were a great support! Clean and safe environment!

Extremely rude after asking questions with a calm tone. Typical DMV experience? Totally. Should we have to deal with it? Nope but, what choice do we have. Honestly dread going into these places.

Good atmosphere all around, everyone was nice and kind. Quick and easy to get things done. Went in to get my class 5 advance license, passed first try. Instructor really knowledgeable overall would recommend.

I had a road tear at 4pm I was here at 3: 30pm girls were messy with the paper work I had to go back home and find my knowledge test because they said “it expired” which it didn’t.

Instructor was bad, he was following Neón the car while I was on the bike and he was too close to me during the road test didn’t leave any space….

Bad experience in this location.

Really awesome service at this Registry. The staff are always accommodating and helpful in every manner with special mention to ILSE, who is always super friendly and works smartly. She was my all time favourite client and appreciate her work at this Registry.

Think it’s time for the old white guy to retire! Zero professionalism out of this man. DO NOT book your road test here. I didn’t pay to get insulted continuously throughout my exam. What an absolute joke.

Warning, read this before booking your road test here. I know there are some serious integrity and accountability issues at this registries. I would avoid it at all cost. I have encountered many issues here but the most recent was doing a bike road test with a guy named Sonile. I did a great job on my road test and at one point in the test I was waiting for a vehicle to clear before turning left. After the exam he told me I had failed for obstructing traffic. As someone turning left its my job to yield to oncoming traffic. I reported him to Alberta transportation and then once they questioned him about it he lied and said that there was no oncoming traffic. He straight up lied to Alberta transportation. Stay away from this cure-the place. I talked to the manager about it aswell after my road test and she said there was nothing she could do about it since its a third party company. I told her that she should be more accountable since Sonile is representing them. No accountability or integrity here at this place, do yourself a favour and go do your road test somewhere honest and fair.

Extremely poor customer service, and complete lack of people skills, not to mention complete lack of knowing what they are doing when it comes to corporate registrations. Never coming back here again.

They need to talk to their staff about insurance requirements. Digital pink card on the phone almost caused me to be denied a road test. Have presented digital pink card on my phone to RCMP, peace officers, and other registry offices and had no problem. This registry seems to lack any training regarding requirements. They were rude about it, would recommend going elsewhere.

I recently had my advanced road test class 5 with examiner Sunil Sharma and it honesty was a great experience. I was feeling a little bit nervous going into it but Sunil was quick to reassure me which allowed me to drive normally and safely.

I went this morning to get a plate for my new car. The lady that served me was very rude. She was busy on the phone and was not willing to answer my questions. I think her name was Marwa if I did not get it wrong. I paid $73 and I am not sure what services were included in this money. If I paid for her, then the company has to return my money because she does not deserve my money at all. Overall, she was an unprofessional employee.

Filipino lady that works here is so RUDE and acts like we owe her something. She NEVER smiles helping ANYONE. I never have problems with anyone else it’s just her.

I really enjoy them, their fast professional and know the industry inside and out. Open 7 days a week, a very good location
