Sundance Mazda

Wasn’t expecting the service department to stoop this low……. Very disappointing experience. They are literally milking out customers and finding every way to charge them. I had brake sensor lights and my collision sensors lights on my dashboard that were on and off and when I called in to ask about this from the service department, the rep said this wasn’t normal and to book an appointment.
I made sure to get the quote for the work and I was clearly told that there will be no diagnostic cost which would normally be $195 as it’s covered under the extended warranty that I actively have on my car.
Upon this I booked the appointment to get it checked out. As I was picking up my keys after the checkup, this other rep had a whole different story about how they will charge me up to $195 even after I mentioned it to him that I was told by one of his coworkers that there will be no cost to me to check out what the issue was. I asked to speak with the MANAGER and the manager refused to acknowledge that I was told that and started giving me excuses that “they speak with so many customers” blah blah “That do I know the person’s name I spoke with over the phone”, I won’t mention his name over this comment. He even had the audacity to blame me by saying that I don’t service my car and that is why the brake fluid was running low. Also that his technician doesn’t work for free and how he needs to pay utility bills, how he will pay the technician out of his pocket and all… ZERO BUSINESS ETHICS.

He then said that the best he could do for me was $97.5 (half of the original price he asked me to pay) to top up the brake fluid…… Why should I pay for something that I was told that was covered and wouldn’t be of cost to me. I was basically lured to come in and being forced into paying when I was picking up my car. Take some accountability and stand by your words.

Keep in mind that I was also there last week for my regular maintenance service in which they performed a multi-point inspection as well and they didn’t mention that my brake fluid was running low.

Paying the money is not the problem as long as it is justified and that’s what you were told by one of your own workers as they are trained to work there.
This is NOT how business is done. Please treat customers with some respect and kindness!

They are trying to milk from the customers. The SERVICE DEPARTMENT MANAGER is RUDE and ARROGANT.

Wow best experience ever. So very greatful to Mina, Moe and the awesome team at Sundance Maza. Being a woman you hear so many horror stories but after meeting and communicating with Mina my worries were soon a thing of the past. All my questions were answered, and my concerns put to rest.

Each time I entered the building it felt like I was amongst a group of friends. Moe greatest finance personal I've ever interacted with. Thank you!

I have been car shopping for 6 weeks. Used cars are not what they used to be. I visited several dealerships looking at used vehicles. Many are in rough condition, full of rust, rebuilt, salvaged, need repairs and are overpriced. After doing some research into purchasing new, without breaking my budget, I started looking into Nissan, Mazda and Honda. While perusing the Sundance Mazda website I submitted an online chat to talk to someone about what they had available and what the price and availability was. I received a reply from Emmanuel. I told him what I was looking for and the budget I was working with and he suggested a used 2018 Mazda they had just received. He sent me the link to the listing on it and I booked an appointment with him for the next day after work.
The next morning I received a message from him along with a link to a personal youtube video he made showing me the vehicle inside and out. I was so impressed that he took the time to show it to me and I knew immediately I had found the perfect vehicle for me.
I went straight from work, met Emmanuel, saw the car and then I took it out on a test drive. I could not wait to get back to the dealership and put a deposit on it and sign the paperwork!
I was then introduced to Moe, one of the business managers. He gathered all the financial details and assured me that I would hear from him in the morning.
Before noon the next day I received a call from Gerry saying that everything was done and I could pick up my car at my convenience.
I had to work the following day (Saturday) and would have to find a way to get to the dealership as I had used my dads car to get to work.
Emmanuel didn’t even hesitate to offer to come and pick me up and take me back to the dealership to get my car. He pulled up in front of my house and opened the door for me like I was going in a limo!
Once we were there he took me to my car, showed me how everything worked and introduced me to his business partner Mina who shared in my excitement! I took my license plate to put on the car and he even washed it prior to putting it on for me!
WOW!
I love my car, but more importantly, I can’t begin to express how impressed I am with the way I was treated by everyone. Emmanuel listened to me and took into consideration everything I was looking for and made it happen. No hidden agenda, no grey area, no additional fees along with treating me with the most AMAZING experience. I even stopped there a few days later to see what tool I needed to change my license plate and Mina grabbed the socket and did it for me in the parking lot!
I am so grateful to have been lucky enough to have Emmanuel reach out to me that day.

Sundance is a dealership that’s after a customer’s best interest and not simply looking to make a sale. I can’t speak for all, but Emmanuel, the salesperson that attended to me, listened and empathized with my situation to find the vehicle best suited for my needs, and went out of their way to respect my budget. On top of that, they served me with full transparency within the financial aspect to ensure there were no meaningless charges.

I’m confident to say Sundance is one of the few dealerships left, that work with integrity and see their customers as people instead of business.

Not happy with the way sundance deal with me who travelled 600km from BC to buy a CX 9 GSL on 2nd sept. They dont even negotiate with me well and treated me as a walk around guy. The sales person who dealt with me he failed to understand a valued customer i felt so bad. I visited Sundance as per that sales person's sugar coated emails. After this bad experience i visited Landmark i was warm welcomed by them especially Michael and i got my CX 9 kuro edition instead of a GSL in a good deal. They gave me 2500 more for my trade value than sundance.

Superb! Doing business with them was smooth sailing. We were very pleased with Emmanuel, who understands and speaks our language, so we were able to speak our minds and asked questions freely. Customer service wise, two thumbs up! Plus, we got a personalized video on YouTube, so we can review the ins and outs of our new Mazda CX5. Just went in today to purchase my first car! They were kind enough to send a car to take us to the dealership because we live quite far away. The staff were absolutely splendid! Isaura Reiter helped us through the entire process and was extremely patient and kind. She explained each and every step clearly and was an absolute gem of a person. I would like to thank Noelan Ible, he was a great sales representative for Mazda! He went above and beyond to ensure the car was perfect for delivery. However, it is apparent that the managerial staff for sales is not willing to move on pricing and is not so pleasant to deal with! Lastly, the finance manager was great in explaining everything as well as being quick to produce all paperwork copies.

Very helpful with the parts that I needed, Parts Source and Napa do not always have the full picture in regards to the proper parts required for your car or simply do not have the knowledge. It does pay to go to the actual dealership for assistance

I waited a month or more to leave my review. I bought my Mazda cx5 kuro edition last July 2021. Emmanuel Romero helped me to processed and give what I wanted for the needs in my car. I am very happy and he made sure that I am satisfied before leaving from the Mazda's parking lot. He did his best to answered all my questions about my car and send me a clear instructions about how to use my navigation features. Emman helped to delivered my car and in fact I can't drive from edmonton to lac la biche. He drove my car and I am so thankful and appreciated for a great efforts and time that he gave. Had some of the worst experiences at this dealership. I go for regular services here but will no longer be giving them another cent. The latest way they've tried to take money from me was during an oil change when they told me I had a nail in my tire that was leaking air. They quoted me for a patch, but I had a sinking feeling to go somewhere else for the repair as they have mislead me many times before. Turns out it was a tiny staple that didn't cause any damage and wasn't leaking any air at all. OK Tire didn't even charge me for the inspection. If you are wanting honest service, avoid Sundance Mazda at all cost. They are a slimy dealership and if I could give zero stars I would.

He was also able to do all this without my credit score being affected! What is usually a boring part of buying a car, with all the numbers and form signing, was made pleasant and quick by filling the time with enjoyable conversation.
