Sunridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Hands down the best in the industry. From my consultation to my recovery, the clinic has given me white glove service. From the administration team to the health care team, I felt at ease and comfortable. Never once had I had any trouble with dealing with them before, during, and after my surgery. If I ever needed to get another oral surgery again, I would drive across the province just to to get taken care of at this clinic. Thank you to this amazing team of providers!

Had three wisdom teeth removed here a few hours ago. I have insane anxiety with any surgeries, and I was shaking uncontrollably but everyone was so patient and kind to me even when the tears began to roll.
The surgery was over within the hour, and I’m home binging Netflix. Only thing I could suggest is going over the aftercare as I’m totally clueless 5 hours later as to why the bleeding is still going but hoping it will stop soon.

My father was referred to Sunridge Oral Surgery to have some teeth pulled. I was thoroughly satisfied with the service we received. Everyone was very kind and accommodating.

The doctors and nurses were kind to the patients. I did not feel the fear and tension of the operation. The nurse called me the next day after the operation to ask about the situation, and I felt very warm.

Very good for wisdom tooth extractions but on the expensive side hence only 4 stars instead of five!

10/10 I had a really good experience everyone was helpful they did an amazing job removing my widsoms it was my first time getting surgery and I would recommend coming to this place to get your widsoms removed everyone has good humor too:)

Both of my daughters had their wisdom teeth removed this year and their experience went extremely well. The Doctors, nurses and staff were fantastic and I would definitely recommend getting any oral surgeries done here!

Dr. Fisher and Dr. Touchan are both personable. Must give them credit for being patient in explaining things and appearing genuinely interested in the well being of their clients.

The issue is the reception and at least 3 of their nurses who seem bent on invalidating patient complaints and excel at gaslighting them. They will insist that whatever symptoms you have are not related to the surgery or are as a result of you not following instructions.

There’s also zero effort at after care. You go under, pay your bill then get sent home. Only there’s no follow up appointment, phone call or at the very least, one of their automated messages to see if you’re OK or have any concerns. If you do call to ask for assistance, you repeatedly get a condescending attitude.

Valued service goes beyond a pretty office and skilled surgeons. I’m convinced you can do better.

Very knowledgeable staff. Dentist was great explaining everything involved in the procedure to both myself and my daughter. And the nurses were kind, compassionate and very helpful with billing issues.

We had a great experience here- everyone was lovely from reception to the nurses and doctors. Our last surgeon had given us a wait of over six months for surgery and here they were able to get us in within days, which was amazing.
My daughter had a tooth extraction under general anesthesia and she settled right in with the staff- they eased her anxiety right away and made it as “fun” as possible with treasures and treats afterwards.
I definitely recommend Dr Touchan & team!

Horrible experience, appointment for Nov 29th 650am was booked almost a whole month in advance on Nov 1st

Showed up Nov 29th 640am in the morning to find out it was never booked
My mom is diabetic that was why the surgery was booked that early in the morning, so she could take her medications and eat earlier so her blood sugar doesnt get too low, the appointment was even written down on paper
Antibiotics were to be taken 1 hour before surgery, now we have to wait
They have to reschedule for 9am or another day so we chose 9am then after an hour of waiting i received an email around 805am stating surgery is 920

Finally able to get into the surgery at 1020am
4 hours after initial appointment time

After surgery update
There's supposed to be a gauze in her mouth to help with the bleeding, on the way home it came to my attention that they never put one in so there was alot of blood in her mouth

I DO NOT recommend coming here at all

This is a horrible mistake and they took no ownership of it at all, no managers to talk to nothing, extremely inconvenient since my morning shouldnt not have been disrupted with the original appointment and now the whole morning is gone, dont come here, if you ever do make sure you triple check to ensure the appointment is actually booked
They charge a fee of $250 if appointments are cancelled same day or failure to arrive on check in time, due to the major failure to do the procedure on appointment time maybe i should bill them

I had a dental implant inserted yesterday by Dr. Simon Touchan and his team, The experience couldn't have gone better. That experience begin from the time I walked in and was greeted professionally by Ashley and had a very easy and simple check-in process. The positive experience continue with nurse Christine in prepping for the procedure which was performed by Dr. Touchan. All went well and with very little post-op pain.
I would highly recommend Sunridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to anyone.

Perhaps it should noted; that if you post here regarding a negative experience, about a past surgery; the pain, suffering, or negative experience; seems this Dentist and staff, will not take any accountability, for mishaps and use it as a way to improve; they will however; blame ‘you’ the victim and lie you behaved badly rejecting any future referrals.

Very clean and and open office space. Very friendly staff and you do not feel rushed and they are willing to address any questions you have about the process. My daughter left feeling very good about the upcoming procedure.

If you get referred to this sorry excuse for a business be prepared to be bombarded with text messages every single day up until your appointment, and if you tell them to stop they cancel your appointment.

Mind you they got countless 1 review accounts giving them 5 star reviews. These are called fake reviews.

Extremely thankful to have found such a caring clinic and surgeon. I was beyond terrified to have a tooth removed and a small bone graft done as I have had nothing but poor dental experiences in the past. This dentist took the time to hear my concerns and answer each question I had. They made me very comfortable throughout the full process including surgery day. I'm currently 5 days post op and they already called to see how I was doing and get me in for my follow-up. Hoping my next few weeks go aswell as these first 5 days! Thank you to everyone here!

Was amazed by the surgeons bedside manners, who took the extra time to go over everything and didn’t rely on his staff to. He was dealing with a 17 year old, young man and thoroughly went over everything with him. The staff were also friendly and helpful. I’d highly recommend this team for your dental needs.

The location is easy to get to, lots of parking space, the staff are so friendly and helpfull. Overall the experience was excellent

I came to the clinic for surgery for a cyst growing above my upper teeth. Dr Fischer was amazing as well as my nurse, the anesthetist and the front desk staff. Follow up care was well explained. This is a fabulous clinic and state of the art surgical facility. I highly recommend!

Highly recommend Sunridge oral and maxillofacual to anyone who is nervous about dentists, dental surgery, needles, etc. Dr Simon Touchan, Dr Brad Fisher and all of their staff are awesome. Very courteous, kind, quick and effecient. My experince was excellent, and allthough a little nervous, they made me very comfortable. And their costs are very affordable.

Dr. Touchan provides a detailed explanation of the surgery and makes you feel very comfortable. His staff are also amazing and kind. They adhere to your scheduled time as close as possible, especially for surgery. I highly recommend this Surgeon and lm looking forward to a speedy recovery.

Obviously not somewhere you end up but my son had major surgery done to his mouth. All I can say is WOW these guys are so knowledgeable and super super nice. You want for nothing. They give the best care possible. I live in medicine hat which is a 2.5 hour drive but I would do it in a heart beat to get the care my son needs. Fantastic service. 1000 out of 10 for sure
