Sunrise Records

Had a blast going in here looking for some vinyl! We bought our kids a little portable record player for Christmas, and we needed some more records. I loved flipping through the records just like I did when I was younger. The store employee was also extremely friendly and helpful. Great selection and decent prices. Thank you!

In the span of 15 minutes I was asked if I needed help three times by each staff member. I understand it’s your job to check on customers and make sure they’re not stealing but being profiled and watched on either side by staff members is not how I like to shop. Don’t worry you won’t see my business here again:) #supportsmallbusinesses

It was a great experience today. We were greeted as soon as we entered, and the associate who helped found exactly what we were looking for and brought it to us so we didn't have to wait long. And the cashier was a pleasure to speak to, very nice and well spoken.

My sister asked me to go in to see if what she put on hold for a Christmas present at this location was correct. I walked in with my mask under my chin as I was ACTIVELY DRINKING A STARBUCKS (which FYI is allowed as per AHS rules and regulations in terms of Covid 19) I decided to stop in quick to take a look at what was on hold and grab it. The dark haired woman at the counter (working evening shift on Tuesday November 30th 2021) demanded I pull up my mask when I walked in before I could even say anything as I was, once again, actively drinking a late. I told her I was drinking something and she told me it didn’t matter and to pull it up. She was incredibly aggressive and rude. I decided not to purchase based on this alone. I told my sister about this and she told me they were very rude over the phone when she was inquiring about the product as well. Will never purchase from this store ever again. Which I always tried to support since dvds and cds are after all a dying product. Walmart and Amazon have the same products for cheaper anyway.

I come here for the vinyl records. It's pretty much the only stuff for new in Red Deer. Not a bad selection though

I've always liked this store. The staff are friendly and they sell some really cool stuff. If you're looking for a hard to find movie they probably have it.

I like the store; staff are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that aside from CDs and LPs, they do not carry enough Tom Petty items. The occasional T shirt or poster is not enough and there is definitely a market for more!

I liked the staff (2 ladies). Why? Because they went out of their way to search for my CD & even offered to order it, & gave some reviews. I was impressed, good talkers makes good salespeople.

They had a great selection of videos movies and music the staff were friendly and courteous and helpful and they had a lot of other stuff in there as well I recommend this for any young crowd

I always find something unique and awesome at Sunrise. A great place to find local metal albums, and some sweet multi deals on movies, music and Funko Pops.
