Sunshine Village - Snow Central

How SSV handled themselves over the covid era was unfortunate. They bowed the knee the AHS, on policies we now know from discovery and parliamentary committees, were in fact political-not evidence based decision making.
The demonization and segregation of those with different health choice decisions was sad and unscientific. To this day, no data exists to suggest these measures helped in anyway.
After speaking directly with the CEO, I was told he was afraid to go against AHS, and did whatever they asked of him.

Stayed at Sunshine a lot over the past few years. We decided to go with friends this summer for a few nights. We love summer season and hikes. The service went downhill big time. The food in Chimney corner was horrible. The quality went down. Last summer the food quality was amazing. Chefs came out to visit the range of options was fantastic. This summer the food was subpar and the service sucked. The menu options were limited. The hotel front desk staff was in polite. We will be back to ski there, but will not be staying at hotel for price and NOT eating there. So sad. We used to look forward to an after ski or after hike meal. Now we will stay in Banff for better service and better food.

Just did a whole day ski class. Camilla and Luca are great instructors and their teaching techniques are clear and easy to learn. Strongly recommend Sunshine Village.

A very popular ski hill that is great for a wide range of skiers and snowboarders. The mountain is suited for any level of downhill skiing from green runs to the double black diamond. Beautiful scenery and friendly staff. My wife and I will continue to ski at this place to improve our skills.

I spoke to a lovely agent on the phone (I believe her name was Sara from the Calgary location). She was so knowledgeable and helped answer all my questions and gave me some great suggestions! We are looking forward to our visit.

This is a TICKET OFFICE for their resort, not a ski resort. People made a review about this location as a resort and as a tourist, travelling to this place was confusing. Also sent a voicemail, no feddback.

Amazing ski hill with many different runs. I’ve been skiing at sunshine for years now and I can’t stop telling people how good of a ski hill it is. It has many different runs for all skill levels of skiers and the main facility on the main is very nice. They have a few restaurants and places to stay if you want to stay overnight on the mountain. I would highly recommend going to sunshine if you are looking for a ski hill that has everything you’re looking for.

Avoid the chicken pot pie! Tasted like fish and gave me food poisoning. Otherwise it's a fun place to ride. Yes there are some flat spots to prepare for. And yes lift tickets are overpriced. The staff are nice people.

I completed the 4 week Adult Free Rider snowboarding program and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our instructor, Charlie, was kind, patient, and a lot of fun. He kept us progressing throughout our lessons and focused on helping each of us reach our goals by the end of the program. I hope to see him teaching the Jump Start and Freerider lessons again next year!

Had an awesome day out at sunshine, ended up going with a full day of instruction on the green level. My instructor Marco from Austria was a bloody legend. Taught me heaps, got so much out of it and ended up having an awesome day out! Highly recommend it.

Clean, efficient, organized, quick, I wanted to buy all of the Sunshine trinkets and such.

Friendly, helpful staff. A small retail section with Sunshine merchandise. Easy to get your passes before going to mountain so you can hit the slopes immediately!

Sunshine village Calgary office lied to me. On the phone they told me they close at 5: 30 pm. When I get there at 5pm, they are closed. The customer service was rude too. They hanged up my call when I begged them for pardon because their voice was low.
