Sunterra Market, Bankers Hall

As previous Calgarians i always liked the Sunterra Market. Most foods used 2b good n still r. They r now much larger, they took over Pink Pearls location too. I dont know when it happened but last time i was there Pink Pearl was still in its pl. Sunterra has lots of preprepared foods, as well as baked good. I was a little bit disappointed w/their Nanaimo bars. I bought 4, ate 1 half n trash the remaining 3 1/2. They tasted very heavy n sweet. Their raisin brand muffin also has too much sugar in it. They need to revisit some of their receipes. Their scrambled eggs, salmon salad, Americano coffee, ham n cheese scone n cpl of ham n turkey sandwiches were good. Service was fast but it was early morning b4 8am. Lunch time maybe a bit more busy.

Great food and value and variety for all preferences. Best for a "businessman's lunch" or breakfast and coffee. Diverse cuisine done well. Grocery has good selection. Prices higher, but worth it for the convenience and selection. Downside is the staff gets grumpy if you ask for food after around 14: 00 because they're trying to close shop but still have to ring up customers.

I've been eating here for years. The food selection is the best. The quality is superb. Prices are reasonable. I've never been disappointed. Keep up the great work!

Gets really busy at lunch. Nice to see the salad bar back, but would like to see hand sanitizer at the beginning of the line. The food is always pretty good here.

It seems to actually close at 4- 4: 30. Here now April 5th, 2023, and no one seems open. Except the bakery.

The lunch items are quite good and very reasonably priced. For $10 you can get enough food to fill you up and at good quality

I used to visit here way more frequently before I retired. Very efficiently run but staff is unfamiliar to me as I am only here intermittently. The food is good!

Sharon went above and beyond to fulfill a request. Her and every one of her colleagues do an amazing job when I visit in the morning.

Good food, but prices have really gone up a lot lately. You would think with the amount of business they get that they could offer sandwiches for less than $8…

I have bought Caesar salad there twice and I would not buy it again. So expensive and both times the quality was so bad. The lettuces are not fresh at all. They were chopped (if you can called them "chopped") poorly. Lettuce leaves have been "chopped" in two big peices. Croutons are so old that they are all moist. Waste of money. Do not recommend it at all.

The cheese scones have really gone down hill here. Prior to the pandemic, when you bought a scone from here, it would be loaded with cheese, spinach, onions, etc.throughout the scone. Today I bought my second and last one ever from here and sadly, there was only a couple of feta pieces stuck to the outside. Sadly the inside was all dough.

Located on the 2nd floor, you'll find this market with cooked foods, cakes and bakery items. Great for a quick take away.

This is my go to spot to eat in downtown Calgary. Unparalleled quality with rock bottom prices. I wish 6 stars was an option.

Bought this “roast beef” sandwich for $9 here today. There’s hardly any toppings on it and the bread was rock hard. Unfortunately not the first time this has happened with the food here. Staff is usually friendly but usually the lineup to pay can be long. I wish I had enough time to bring it back for a refund as the quality and value is way below par.

Whenever i dont have time to cook.i always come here for fresh and delish food. 1/4 chicken meal for $11.99 with potatoes, veg, and biscuit. Pretty good deal. Make sure to sign up as a member, you earn points and free dessert for your bday.

Baked goods are really nice. Banana oats square is super delicious. Made with all healthy ingredients. Little pricey but ok to have once in a while.

Liked it was there but it is not full size Sunterra, so selection is a bit limited. Still managed to inhale two canolies before guilt set in.

I used to love Sunterra. It seems that portions and food quality have gone down in recent times.

I had a very cold breakfast this morning. There are other options downtown that are getting way better than Sunterra.

Well I can say this they are consistent - consistently bad this used to be my go to place for breakfast & lunch BUT no more.ever since the redesign it has been disappointing. I thought I'd give it one more try, figured that by now maybe they had worked out the kinks, but NOPE the food is worse than ever, and pretty expensive. Even though it is convenient I won't be back

Terrible carrot cake! The cake was mostly frosting with thin slivers of actual carrot cake. So dissapointing.

Sunterra is always a good place to get a meal. Lots of variety of food and the staff is friendly and helpful.

This renovated location is a tribute to poor design. Little seating space, little room to move and line up for anything. The biggest kick to the consumer is the price increases. My favorite is the egg and cheese wrap is now 6.99. I work close by and I'll be a patron of Ollie Fresco's from now on.

The new space is beautiful. I know everyone is learning and trying hard - but what a disappointment. I was at the till at least 10 minutes the other night while they were trying to figure out my three small purchases. If you purchase a few items and one of them needs to be weighed (like a red pepper), somebody has to run to the produce area to weigh it. I purchased a small pizza for lunch last week - when I got back to my desk at work - it was ice cold, even having been under the heat lamp. Today I purchased a tuna panini and it came back to me minus any grill marks and still ice cold. Lesson learned - I'll check the food before leaving t ensure it's heated and cooked correctly! It's such a great location and service, I hope they can pull it together in time.

This is amazing - brilliant idea for this location. Top quality food and services as all of their locations. Makes me wish I was downtown more often

Was very excited to go to Sunterra after the renovation only to find there were extremely few gluten free options available. They had no sandwich/ bread or baking that was gluten free, the pasta bar did not offer any gluten free options as well as the pre-made meals (pastas, pizzas, dinners ect) were not an option for those with dietary restrictions. The only option was a the salad bar. This was very disappointing and honestly surprising. I hope to see this change so everyone can enjoy the new Sunterra.

Sunterra Market is a wonderful place to have your business day lunch at the massive food court with a billion options. One thing to be aware of is, the lines, so if you want your hamburger first leave a couple minutes early.

I go to this Sunterra everyday and it's the best customer service I've experienced in Calgary. You're always greeted with a familiar friendly smile and greeting. The staff go out of their way to make you feel valued by remembering your name and your usual order.

All sunterra markets are fabulous but this one is extra awesome due to staff. Give it a try and see.

Maybe someone one day will figure out to use filtered water for cooking soups and stews? They do taste like CHLORINE!

I always go when I forget to bring food to work, price is accessible and can find delicious food. Only stay away from the enchiladas, they are "No bueno".

Convenient place to get a salad from the salad bar and a half sandwich when you want something healthy and inexpensive. It can get busy during lunch time, so get there early if you dont like crowds. There's other hot meals and choices for those looking for pizza, hot food, etc.

Awesome spot. I know one of the supervisors personally and she's always super helpful. Food is awesome because everything is made from scratch.

Nice variety of fresh foods from sandwiches and salads to main courses and desserts something here for everyone.

Good selection of food at a good price point. However, the fruit and veggies does not seem to be fresh always (Bananas, pears, eggplants). But they have great pre made meals!

Fantastic open style kitchen for quality on the go snacks, meals and drinks! Staff is friendly and genuine, and damn, if you are a panini fan the smoked turkey focaccia bread (Xtra lettuce and tomatoes) is stellar! All reasonably priced!

I bought some chicken there got it home was hard as a rock and bone dry tried to return it the next day was told sorry no refunds.
