Place is absolutely clean and spotless, the room service is nice, assistants were nice and happy

I do not think the sheets were washed. The first bed had crumbs and a toenail clipping, the second bed had lipstick stains and short hairs on the sheets. There was also a used zyn dried to the tv stand along with dirty handprints on the door frames, door knobs and light switches. The staff was very friendly and welcoming but the room was not it.

The place is well looked after, I was impressed that they even had a Veterans parking spot dedicated. The location for us was perfect for getting around Edmonton. I had to go a 3 rate for rooms as they are small, not the best in design and all the electrical plugs are hidden behind furnishings which was very inconvenient. Staff are awesome and do their best to accommodate your needs.

There was hair all over the shower.

Friendly staff, good selection of breakfast foods, closed to retail services. A little more attention could be paid to cleaning of walls and base boards. Did not appreciate the traveler tax being added without forewarning!

Everything was super clean, Raj welcomed us and was very helpful. The pool looked inviting, but we didn't try it. Complementary breakfast was exc. Will definitely come again!

2 because I've stayed there a bunch of times and never knew they had a JACUZZI tub room. Was never offered it, no ads anywhere to show that there is a room like that there.

The friendly service and atmosphere says it all plus the vast array of choices for breakfast was really good. I've never stayed at a super 8 before this trip but now they will be my "go to" hotel.

When we booked our room over the phone, the lady assured us that they were adjoining rooms. Upon arrival we checked in and found out they were not. Paris however made it work for us and went the extra mile.

We stayed in this hotel during the long weekend (family day) Feb 2023. The service is very good. They have a cute swimming pool & hot tub. Staff are friendly and professional, especially those who are working in the kitchen serving AMAZING breakfast. Mr. Bob (or Rob; Not sure about his exact name) was extremely helpful and patient with all visitors in the kitchen. I really admire his customer service skills. If I have a decision to increase his wage, I, with no doubt, will do it. Definitely, we will visit this place again.

Worst hotel experince in my life. We had a reservation at this hotel for 4 nights starting Feb 2nd and on the way to Edmonton we had an accident and we had been transfered to the hospital we are lucky that we are all still alive and when we explained this to the hotel they ignored us for weeks and they ended up refusing our request for refund on the basis that we did not show up eventhough we showed proof of medical report and police report, and that we are not playing around. Just THE WORST EVER, never again i hope everyone learns from my mistakes and experince with this hotel

Spent the Night with my Mother, Asked for the room to be cleaned but had to sit in the lobby for a good hour and had to ask them again. To get the room clean.ended up getting done eventually.annnd then almost gave birth in their Room then the Lobby. They made my Mom laugh because they thought my moms 3lb dog was in labor When I was clearly the one on the stratcher getting hauled into an ambulance lol "What? Your dogs giving birth? " Made my mom laugh! You think if you about gave birth in their Hotel, they'd congratulate us at least. But nope.

The staff was nice only bummer tho were the vending machines they didnt take bills so i had to go over the front desk and exchange for loonies rooms were what you pay for and the pool was a blast

I felt the rooms are very run down and old looking and not so nice felt very dark and gloomy one of the first ramadas we have stayed in that needs some work but was clean I would like 2 say it was really nice of Janet 2 leave a nice note saying iam your cleaner and have a wonderful and enjoyable stay it made us smile and the front desk was Awesome as well I believe it was Gab and Paris that attended 2 us I would only come back 2 see them again the pool was okay a little small and hot tub as well with only 4 ppl allowed in it but all in all it was an okay stay if it was not for the great customer service we probably would have not stayed

Great location! It’s next to a large shopping centre with lots of amenities. A nice pool, friendly atmosphere, and good layout. It’s a good option for those who can’t afford to spend very much.

Rooms were clean and fairly priced. The staff was also very friendly, Paris was very understanding and helpful when I had questions.

I'm a single dad passing through Edmonton with my 2 young children. The hotel had a nice suite where the kids enjoyed watching there own TV when we were in the room. Paris at the front desk was extremely kind and very helpful. Staff here are worth stopping in again. There is a well stocked C-Store right next door for a quick stop for a snack also.

The receptionist (Juvy) listens to the customer, makes sure that a solution first meets the customer needs and then figures out how to best make it happen and on the customer's timetable.

My two children, husband and myself had a great stay. Check-in was quick and everyone was friendly. After dinner at Earls we went to the pool then relaxed in the room. The room was great as there were two separate rooms in the family suite so we were able to spend some time alone. Paris is an amazing staff at the hotel that was happy to accommodate all requests for additional pillows, etc.

I have never seen hotel staff so friendly and welcoming as those working here. The stay was an excellent experience! The room was perfect for my needs, as well as very clean and quiet. The breakfast was fantastic with many options to choose from. I will definitely be returning! Thank you everyone at Super 8 Edmonton South! See you again soon!

Rooms are a little ghetto lol, definitely nothing extra but overall great stay, clean, quiet, great staff and beautiful pool and waterslide. Beds are definitely cheap but for 100.00 a night they were okay enough

I needed a few groceries and so went to Walmart here in Pincher Creek, AB.
The entrance was in turmoil with a leaky roof or broken water pipe in ceiling. 1 entrance/exit.
After getting the things I needed and gone through till I proceeded to exit through the only door that was available. (I forgot to mention that I have disability so need the scooter) there was water dripping between the doors, inside the entrance.
Unfortunately I had water going down my back in-between the coat and neck. Went home immediately, it had turned quite cold and freezing. The store was a mess. They needed repairs ASAP.
As I was leaving the parking lot there came 2 vehicles with Repair equipment thank God.
In my opinion they should have closed the store down, and maybe a coupon
for a later purchase When the repairs were done.

Had a good experience staying here! The rooms are clean and beds are comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful, much better than the other Super 8 in Edmonton on 118 Avenue NW.

Great hotel to stay with children and staff is very helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

Anila was absolutely amazing! She made us feel welcome and at home! She went out of her way to make sure the room was perfect for my family & I she even followed up once we reached our room!

I stayed there last night. The previous two nights I was at a different Hotel. The other Hotel seemed like a no-tell motel while super 8 seems like the Hilton in comparison. At the super 8 the rooms were clean, everything worked properly and the furniture looked like it belonged. The breakfast was delicious. Waffles, sausage, hard boiled egg and more. Definitely worth the money. You can use the pool for 1 hour and there is also an exercise room. You even get 15% off the nearby Denny's with proof of stay at the hotel. Just double check with the front desk first. I was happy there especially when compared to the other place that I will call a no-tell motel hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay, a nice breakfast and a clean room, super 8. ️

Good service. Clean. Good breakfast (surprisingly well prepared continental breakfast). All in affordable price.

If there was any issues like linens or toilet paper they are quick to act on it. Breakfast hot food was a sparce portion. Thank goodness for the side options to go alongside though. Covid safety measures in place. Security on site over night maybe for safety or what not who knows. Kids loved the pool and water slide and hot tub to pass our time staying there.

We stayed at this hotel on the weekend of August 20-21. The hotel was very dirty, elevator, hallways and rooms. We had dirty blood stained sheets on our kids bed that was not from us. The hotel did change sheets once we notified them. I have stayed at many Super 8 hotels and this is by far the worst one. Definitely not up to regular hotel standards.

Horrible Horrible! Filthy! Rude employees. Said we couldn't go swimming due to multiple ppl signing up more then once. No cots. Our toilet leaked constantly. Breakfast was pitiful.

Absolute worst guest experience I've ever had staying at a hotel. I'd discourage anyone to stay at this hotel especially anyone with a large family. Terrible staff experience, policing of the pool area. And absolutely no fun allowed. Not worth a single penny!

Terrible place to stay. No water working in the shower and the curtain rail was hanging off the wall broken.

Great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good lots of cold and hot options. Bathroom sink and counter not cleaned, sticky substance on night table. Used Keurig pot in machine spilt coffee on table.

The room with the double bed in the living room needs an ac unit urgently! It gets real hot in there!

The beds were comfy though, pillows a bit lumpy.

The bathrooms are tiny and the shower barely has any water pressure.

The staff were very friendly though and the kitchenette came in handy.

Free breakfast was a bit disappointing as well.

Disappointed, not clean. No sanitation, no sanitizer. Elevator is on its last legs, was not wiped or cleaned once during our stay. Breakfast was a joke, eating area was not cleaned, coffee was awful. Pool area is not clean, stairs to the slide are also filthy. Our room was dirty upon checking and they do not bring you extra towels or blankets you have to go get them yourself.

I stood outside the doors for over 10 mins as it was after hours. I got in late and just wanted to get some sleep. Finally the desk person came and let me in. Once I got settled in my room and fell asleep I was woken up every 15-20 mins by the mini fridge making this high pitch noise. Needless to say I didnt get much sleep.

Solid place. Didnt do everything I wanted but its conveniently located around everywhere I needed for my car and substance needs as i was passing through.

This is a great hotel with many amenities nearby. The service was top notch and the rooms are a bargain. My only pet-peeve is the bed mattresses which are a little on the hard side (it seems to be standard for most hotels to have this type of mattress and it is more of a personal preference hence no points lost for that) but I still had a great night's rest.

We did not make use of the pool/water slide but I was surprised at the fact that the entire pool area was huge.

If you do stay here just remember that there is an entire city around you full of things to do but you could easily spend a weekend just exploring everything that is within walking distance of this hotel.

Not to bad hotel quite and price is fear it has a swimming pool the stuff are do friendly.only thing is the room wasn't that clean carpet under the nightstand and around the bad was left over candy and food.i had a lil girl found her trying to eat from that jank.

We had a large number of family coming to town for our wedding and reserved a large group of rooms for them to stay in. We, the bride and groom, stayed there too. The manager was amazingly helpful, the staff was very accommodating and the overall experience was perfect. My mother and father require some help moving around and the staff treated them like family. I can’t thank them enough for making our wedding weekend amazing.

Air-conditioned not really working in the 2nd room and they gave us a fan that was not even cleaned. Bathroom tiles needs cleaning you can see the grout is dirty. Toilet needs cleaning as well. Freezer needs to be defrosted. You can hear children running in the hallway at 11pm, you can hear people talking in the other room. The only thing I liked is the location. Frontdesk and breakfast attendants are friendly.

The room was clean and quiet, the service was professional and polite, the location was very convenient and the price was very reasonable. No complaints at all.

Noise so loud from 5 kids hockey teams and staff doing nothing about it on the main floor to keep the noise down. Parents holding s drinking party in the hallway outside our room. When you drive 10 hrs wanting some rest this is the last thing you want at the end of your day!

Front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel is very run down. Half fast clean. Street people, pan handlers INSIDE the hotel in the staircase, where kids and others go to the pool or use the stairs. I told the hotel and they were aware of them and said security doesn't lock up until 10pm so people can go out for smokes. They said to let them know if they come back. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Very very basic breakfast, but suitable.

Everything is VERY basic, book online if possible to save a bit of $. Kids enjoyed the waterslide. But hot tubs capacity is only 4 people. Breakfast was very minimal, muffins were good though. We had adjoining rooms and both were pretty gross. They need to give the rooms a good wipe down. The corners everywhere were full of dirt and walls gross in bathroom. Desperate need of some maintenance. Shower was leaky and difficult to adjust in both rooms. Exhaust fan was absolutely packed with grime, wish I hadn't looked up.lol the location is good with lots of stuff conveniently walking distance. So it has good and bad points for sure. The lack of cleanliness was a huge issue for me personally. Staff is very kind. Management needs to do their part by investing some money back into this place. Scratchy old towels and simply getting run down.

Rooms were very small and when booked online they didn't read the comments nor the entire reservation.

It was an awesome stay! The front desk girl was amazing, she helped me with the little mix-up with rooms she offered to help me fix it! The pool was great, was in town for a concert, had no trouble coming back so late, plus the night desk attendant was very nice and assisting us when we needed extra blankets & it was no issue didn’t have to sign for them or wait he just asked us our room number and said goodnight, as a time before we had an issue at a different hotel and Super 8 out did that hotel will be back for sure!

Lots of shopping close by. Room was clean and front desk staff members were there to help you. Housekeepers were friendly and helpful.
