Super 8 by Wyndham Pincher Creek AB

Friendly staff (very friendly), great location and a pleasure to visit. I stayed an extended period with both my dogs multiple times this year and the team was excellent.

My car was broken into while parked in the parking lot though so I would strongly caution anyone staying in Pincher to ensure you lock your doors, roll up your windows and choose a parking spot covered by a security camera. They don’t cover the full lot.

The room that was given to us was next to a loud AC that ran intermittently throughout the night. Did not sleep well. I hope the manager can reach out to resolve this bad experience.

I have heard several people try to discredit this place. They could use a hot breakfast sure. However they keep the rooms very well, they have a hot they maintain. It's also local to everything in town at a great price. If want a Ramada, go there other stop complaining for a great price with excellent customer service and quality.

Room / bed was comfortable, breakfast was terrible, this is a 2 star motel at best and they are charging 4-5 star hotel prices.

This was one of the worse hotels I've ever stayed at. I was very surprised considering it was over $200 a night and Super 8 hotels uaully have a pretty good reputation.

This was not the case with this one. It's very old, looks like they haven't updated anything in 20 years.
Carpet was stained and dirty. Bathroom was gross, no water pressure in the shower and the towels were horrendously rough.
We were there for 4 days, we asked for our room to be turned over a couple of times but it was never done. They would show up at 5 pm to clean our room, little too late when we need to come back to get ready for dinner around that time.
We never got new towels either and we asked for more but no one showed up so we took some clean ones off the carts they'd just leave in the hallway.

They should not say they offer breakfast. You can't consider a basket of granola bars and some toast a continental breakfast.

Our room was also in the basement? ! Didn't know there were hotels with underground rooms. If you are going to book here, request a room that isn't underground. There is barely a window, feels like your in a dungeon.

Overall the staff checking us in were very nice, she came to fix our TV when it wasn't working, but I would never stay here again.

This hotel is outdated, the bathtub had black stains. My kid refused to take bath.
The towels were not soft (felt like very harsh for the skin). When we opened the room we felt like smoke smell but when we turned on thr AC we didn't feel anything. The lady at the front desk is awesome.
Pros - Good service, good water pressure and lots of hot water, clean rooms, decent breakfast, microwave and fridge in each room.
Cons - Outdated and basic, quite expensive considering all of the above.

We stayed there on July 1 weekend.
The parking is horrible, lot is to small and crowded.
The breakfast was the disgusting coffee and cold cereal, toast and no one keep ing it tidy.
Will not be staying there again, sorry.

My family and I recently stayed two nights at the Super 8 in Pincher Creek. We paid $196 per night, per room, and honestly, the rooms do not match the price.

This hotel is seriously outdated. I've stayed in cheaper hotels in southern AB that are in much better condition and have more to offer. A lot of furniture is worn, the bathtub had black stains from age, etc.

We also discovered water actively dripping from the fan in the bathroom while the upstairs guest was using her bathtub. The water, as well as peeling paint on the ceiling around the fan and above our tub and the dislodged fan was a possible indication to me that the tub is not sealed properly upstairs. The girl from the front desk tried to be as helpful as possible and offered a different room. As someone with a significant mold allergy the other room smelled very musty and moldy so we opted to remain in our original room and kept towels to catch water.

Pros - Good service, good water pressure and lots of hot water, clean rooms, microwave and fridge in each room.

Cons - Outdated and basic, moisture issues in multiple rooms, paper-thin walls, very disappointing continental breakfast, quite expensive considering all of the above.

Honestly, I would only stay here again in these conditions if there were no other options. The hotel was pretty much full while we were there so as long as the demand is there I unfortunately don't believe any upgrades will ever be done.

It's a nice old hotel, the receptionist is a very nice lady,
Breakfast is included but not many choices like other hotels in the past, still was fine probably for the location.

Very good experience staying here. Rooms are clean and fresh and washrooms are neat as well. Really enjoyed our conversation with the receptionist and she was very friendly. Parking all around the hotel. You can see the windmills in the distance from the front of the hotel, but would recommend not to get your hopes high on the room views. Breakfast was decent and basic but still good. Had no issues here and will be back later!

This is our second time staying here. The first time we stayed here the lady at the front desk was so nice and we decided to come back. The rooms are not the most modern but the place is clean and great location. Staff is friendly with kids and feel very welcome.
