I found Superior Vacuums while searching for a new cordless vacuum. After chatting with someone over the phone, I came into Superior Vacuums Kensington. They were very helpful with their detailed explanation and never felt pressured. Walked out with a Miele Triflex Cordless. Very pleased with Superior Vacuums and their friendly staff.

My 2yr old vacuum died and they figured out the issue easily! They were also very nice about holding it there until I could afford to pay for the repairs. When I got it back it looked brand new!

Don't throw out your Dyson hand-held vacuum. Call AJ at Superior and it'll be fixed up just like new! Great service and fast!

I rented a rug doctor from here a couple years ago and it was $50 or so. They raised the price up to $90 for 24 hours which is just way too expensive. I’m going to Home Depot to rent a rug cleaning machine for a third of the cost.

So recently we had a power outage at my house, everything popped and we had to do a hard reset from our breaker. Everything started up fine and dandy, no issues there.
Couple days later it was vacuum day! And my central vac didn’t work anymore, couldn’t figure why, the electrical portion was fine and the attachments would turn on but the suction didn’t work. So I thought to myself naturally that there was something wrong with the hose.

Brought it to superior vacuums in Kensington and explained the whole ordeal. They said they could fix it easily enough.

Waited a week for an assessment and never got one had to chase them, fair enough they must be busy. Finally called them and they told me it would be ready Monday and that a tech would take a look at it and call me back.

Unfortunately I picked it up it still didn’t work…. And the switch was upside down and the attachment plug in “face plate” was so misaligned it would not fit into my attachments anymore that I had to drill holes into it. Again, plugged it in and it didn’t work.

Then I went down to my unit and realized the switch was flashing probably due to the outage, I pressed it and it turned on. So fair enough my problem to turn the power on or check it after a power outage, HOWEVER, they charged me 100$ to “fix” it. What did they fix? They probably never ran a diagnostic or tested it for that matter because there would have been nothing wrong with it. And a solid business would have called a client back and suggested something else was wrong with it.

Bad form. Really uncool and I will never use their services again because clearly they don’t do what they are supposed to do to help clients. Also how does one trust a business in the scenario.

Just my opinion.

I’ve been trying to find a new power head for my older Dyson but it seems they’ve been discontinued. I stopped into Superior Vacuums to see if they could fix my existing one and without hesitation, Greg took it to the back, they made a couple of quick fixes to extend the life of it, and made some recommendations.

The customer service at Superior is exceptional and I’d highly recommend them for any vacuum servicing or sales!

Ali is very knowledgeable and good to deal with. If he is unsure of any products and such he will find out for you. He has helped me get my new business up and running. Will definitely be my go to spot for chemicals and equipment.

Awesome experience - Greg gave me options to repair my existing vacuum as well as replacing. He showed the possible issues that I might run into in the future with my current one. Zero pressure which was much welcomed! Highly recommend!

I am not going to lie, when the gentleman brought my 10 year old vacuum out to me, I thought it was the wrong one, it was so clean! My vacuum wasn't picking up as well as it used to but the hose was fine. Im too cheap to buy a whole new machine if i can repair the existing one so I brought it in. Turns out you're supposed to change the filters once in a while. I ran it over the carpet when I got home and it works like new again. It almost made me want to clean the rest of the house.almost. The only downside was the parking but if you plan your route, you're fine.

I recently purchased a Miele C3, and could not be any more satisfied, Ali was very helpful and knowledgeable! The vacuum is incredible, and the service was top tier! I 100% recommend visiting in store, as they explain and demonstrate everything!

Clean, bright shop that was happy to offer options. Here's why they get 5/5 IMO. I dropped off an older Dyson for repair. They were clear about replacement pricing versus repair costs. I opted for the repair option. I got the vacuum back a few days later, walked home with it, and it didn't work. They drove to my house to get it.

A few days later, I walk back and get the vacuum and it still doesn't work. I find a spring and a clip in the filter assembly in the ball. Again, they apologized. Think back to when someone really apologized? They did. And they sent someone to pick it up.

Here's the 5/5. The repair guy shows up, says sorry, but he's holding a new filter. "I know the problem, " he says as he puts in a new filter, "these replacement filters can have failures on the clip and spring. " It was fixed and he left.

When you go to Superior, you aren't getting just anyone. You are getting folks that care enough to drive to your house after hours and know the product well enough that they can diagnose it based on the description of two parts over the phone. That's called customer service and expertise.

It's been over a month and the vacuum runs like new. I hope you never have the issues I did, but if you do, you may rest assured they are going to fix it.

We recently purchased a new upgraded power head for our Miele C1 Cat and Dog unit from Greg approximately 18 months ago. We were very pleased with the service and the price point Greg afforded us being Seniors. Just recently our C1 Miele unit bag come off during our weekly cleaning and needed to be serviced to protect the motor and Greg did it for free given we were valued, customers. We appreciated Greg's professionalism and attention to detail when he replaced the cat and dog filter with the correct one. I would recommend Greg for your vacuum issues in a heartbeat. Very fair and knowledgeable with no hidden agenda.
