Swimco - South Edmonton Common

I thought I would give the on line companies a try. WRONG! I only had to walk into the South Edmonton Swimco, tell the sales clerk that I wanted a one piece polyester that is chlorine resistant, some kind of a soft bra. She went and showed me where they were, she asked colour preference out of what was there. She picked me 3 suits, ALL FIT ME perfectly. Purchased the one that I liked the best, paid and done in 10 minutes! A quality bathing suit, you get what you pay for. I swim 3 times a week, and these suits last 6-7 years, washing them after the pool each time. Great, knowledgeable staff, very much appreciated.

Great store, great workers but wouldn’t take my cash, only card. Which is ridiculous it’s a legal tender, will not be shopping here anymore because that’s ridiculous….

Went in, was watched but not said hello to until it was obvious I was being watched. I instantly was uncomfortable I asked where the plus section was, was pointed to a small rack totally fine. Walked around again felt very followed, then was offered a room. When I went to go in has no idea which one, has to check all the rooms until I found mine. Didn’t get any help until I was re dressed, then asked if I needed any extra sizes.
Anyway I did purchase a cover up, after I was told it’s like super oversized, like really really oversized so it might fit me. I get it I’m plus size, could have sold me on it without being rude. Arms also went out to get sides ti explain the over size-ness of this cover up. Anyway I loved it so I bought it, to find out they don’t accept cash… like it’s Canadian currency and you don’t take it? Not overly happy about it

I was not happy at all. Store has a "no cash" policy. I wanted to pay for a $10 dollar item (ear plugs) with cash. How ridiculous, money is money. The reason given was "it is too costly for the store to have someone go to the bank doing deposits and cash handling". Is this not what we use to call "the general cost of doing business" to make the customer experience satisfying. Lastly, I'm not sure, but I don't think there was any outside posting stating they only deal in cash, otherwise I wouldn't have gone in the store at all.

I used to shop at the West Ed location before I moved to the south side, so happy they now have a south location! Same great selection and quality, and same awesome service with staff that always leave you feeling more confident!

All the girls here were wonderful and helped me find a great suit that fit me really perfectly. Even the ladies that weren't helping me were hyping me up and made me feel so good about myself!

Staff are very helpful, super informative and friendly! If you’re looking for swimwear definitely check them out as they have a great selection and they make it a great experience too

Don’t cheap out and go somewhere else, this is the place to get your bathing suit. The quality and customer service is on point. The prices are almost the same as discount competitors these days, so no point shopping around.
