Sylvan Lake RV

I was referred to Sylvan Lake RV by the RV dealership from which the unit I own was purchased as they indicated that Sylvan Lake RV had the expertise to deal with my generator problem. I am really REALLY glad I was referred here. They not only had exceptional knowledge and skill in doing the necessary repairs but went above and beyond with customer service. Lee, the service manger, was awesome at communicating what needed to be done and answering all my questions - even though some were related to other issues than about the generator. I will certainly go back (even though it is out of my way) if I need anything else done!

We had spent a couple years searching for the right RV for us. While online one day we came across Sylvan Lake RV. So Glad we did.
We have nothing but great things to say about Jason, Wes and staff. From the first viewing (in the pouring rain) to financing and picking up (again in the pouring rain) everyone went above and beyond

I am a little late with my review as I kept forgetting! We were camping near Sylvan lake back in May when we needed a part for our RV. We went into this store and were helped right away. The one girl wasn't sure of the part that we were looking for so she recommended Becky, who was just finishing up with a client. My boyfriend vaguely explained what he was looking for and Becky new instantly what attachment it was.

We had scoured Canadian Tire for this part, they didn't have anything that would fit. But Sylvan RV had the piece we needed.

Becky is very knowledgeable with her parts and the service there was great. I highly recommend this store!

The gals in parts and service are great. Friendly and helpful. Good prices on parts and quick to get in what they don't have in stock. I'll be back!

They did good job repairing my door and replace other things that really need replaced and fixed propane now I have furnace running and stove.

We sold our Heartland 5th wheel to Sylvan Lake RV as a trade on a Motorhome. We were advised that a slide on our 5th wheel had major water damage and the repair cost would be 11 - 16k, the rig also required a new awning, let’s say another 1K, both of which reduced the $ they would pay us fir it. So all told with repairs and purchase cost Sylvan Lake RV would be looking at investing up to 42K+, They have the 5th wheel on sale for $49.9K. I don’t believe they spent anywhere close to 16K on repairs to the slide, seems like we’ve been ripped off.
What’s more the MH we purchased was bought by the previous owner in 2019 for 20K less than we paid. SLRV, don’t go there!

I bought a 2016 Revilation toy hauler, and have had nothing but problems. I’ve contacted them about this and no one cares that this trailer came with multiple water leaks leaky toilet rips in the awning and a faulty none working AC unit……. I would strongly suggest going to somewhere more professional unless you wanna spend an extra 6 grand yourself on a unit worth over 60…. Absolutely atrocious

Lazy service. I inquired about trading in our motorhome for a diesel and was told they weren’t interested. A couple days pass and all of a sudden they are interested. Told them what trade-in value I was hoping for and was told I couldn’t get that (without any negotiations or a quote from their end) and wished me “success in finding a coach”. Guess that’s the end of that ‍️

We bought a Thor Hurricane Class A Motorhome in March 2022 and brought it home and put it in storage until warmer weather arrived. We have had issues with the hot water, as in no hot water. I called and spoke to Dexter and we ended up on FaceTime and he solved our hot water issue! I can't tell you how grateful I am for his patience with first time motorhome people. Excellent Customer Service! Thank you again Dexter!

My wife and I purchased a trailer from Sylvan Lake last month. We enjoyed our trailer buying experience at Sylvan Lake RV. Greg’s assistance was tremendous, he displayed patience and was thorough in checking everything out to make sure our trailer was in working order. I bought a 2016 Cougar trailer from Sylvan Lake RV a month ago.on my first trip out I noticed cracks in the propane hoses and as I moved the hose to inspect it a large amount of propane escaped. I email my sales person and was assured that I would hear from someone very shortly. A week passed and no response, I emailed again and was told that the service manager would give me a call.this is the end of the second week and I am forced to write a poor review of the service and lack of inspection of the unit before delivery.

I had a great experience purchasing my motorhome at Sylvan Lake. The staff really went over and above my expectations.
The only black mark. I drove off the lot got almost to Airdrie and realized I had no insurance on the new motorhome. See I came with a permitted motorhome from BC for my trade in. Now our rules are different in BC so in all fairness, it’s not all their fault! Talk to Icbc before you purchase a vehicle, know your rulings.
Overall I was very pleased with my service and would recommend Sylvan Lake Rv to my friends.

My husband and I dealt with Adam Fik with Sylvan Lake RV he is an amazing guy to work with. We put our trailer in consignment with Adam to sell it for us. He picked it up in Okotoks near the end of the season of 2020. We knew it probably wouldn’t sell that late in the season but Adam assured us that people are always looking. Here we are the first week of February 2021 and Adam sold our trailer for the amount we asked for. I would highly recommend Adam for any of your RV needs.

Recently purchased a used Can Am Spyder from Sylvan Lake RV. Stopped by to take a look at the unit and made a deal. Arranged to pick it up on the weekend. Everything was ready and the guys were very helpful in getting it loaded and tied down. Very happy with the whole crew at Sylvan Lake RV

We are so happy with Greg and his ambition to try help us find exactly what we need in an RV, we have some very particular needs and he has been able to keep in touch with us when he has a unit that he feels would suite our needs. I can't say how much Patrick and I appreciate customer service it goes along way and he has gone above and beyond. We are hopeful he will find the perfect unit. Hats off to Sylvan Lake RV. My wife and I had been searching for a certain type of travel trailer for quite a while and found what we were looking for at Sylvan Lake RV.
We spoke with our sales person Greg on the phone, then made arrangements to come and view the unit. Before we arrived, they moved the unit into a shop and had all the slides open and the power on. Long story short, we purchased the unit. On pickup day they had moved the unit into the heated show room. They went through the unit with us top to bottom, showing features etc. Once we brought the unit home they followed up with us the next day to make sure everything was ok. It is nice to see that this level of service still exists. I would not hesitate using Sylvan Lake RV again in the future. Special thanks to Greg for all his help.

Brought home our "new" pre-owned Montana 20th anniversary 5th wheel yesterday.just like I have a "Go to" boat dealer and salesperson' I now have a "go to" rv dealer and sales person. Adam Fik at sylvan lake rv helped us get out of a unit that we learned after purchase did not suite us and into this beautiful Montana that we should be enjoying for many years. I have been ripped off by a dealer south of Calgary so it was reassuring I could have every confidence that was not going to happen at sylvan lake rv. Go check them out. They have a great stock of rv's and motor homes that are spotless.

We came in to look at a Harley Davidson bike. Cal was great to deal with. Looking forward to many adventures on the bike.

We just picked up our new motorhome and found the staff to be very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They were very accommodating to all of our needs. This process of purchasing this unit was done by over the phone conversations and viewing photos online. We were not disappointed in the unit when we finally viewed it in person. How they described the unit to us was exactly how it was. No surprises. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others looking for a good quality used RV.

Came into town with some water damage, electrical issues and a tired camper that needed an honest appraisal for immediate roof sealing and future estimates.and I needed it fast.
I would like to thank all the staff at the shop for their kindness and accommodation, in particular the honest appraisal of my camper.
They had me back on the road and back home to the Yukon in fine form.

We were in the market to upgrade from a class C to a class A motorhome. We looked through many listings through out Alberta and we couldn't find a vehicle that appealed to us, within our budget. We visited other dealerships and were turned off by the uncleanliness and repair of the units that were being showed to us. We spoke with many salespeople that were both pushy and seemingly unknowledgeable with the pre-owned stock on their lots. They kept on pushing New units etc.

We had been recommended to Sylvan Lake RV by a family member that consigned a motorhome with them. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and functionality of Sylvan's pre-owned stock. Adam Fik was our salesman and he asked the right questions to guide us to some Class A's that would meet our needs and budget. Adam and his staff were never pushy and only offered advice and recommendations that were helpful. Adam gave us a fair price for our trade and a fair price on the new machine. Adam was very patient and worked with us through out and after the sale. I was very happy with the experience with Sylvan Lake RV. The unit we purchased and the purchasing experience exceeded my expectations.

The whole process was very smooth and easy and the customer service was outstanding. I purchased a used bumper pull RV. Experience was good. No surprises negative or positive. Price was fair so there was no negotiating.

Top notch salesman Adam went out of his way to accommodate us when we were looking to purchase a new motor home. From showing us different models to patiently waiting for our financing, Adam was very easy to deal with. He even returned after closing hours a couple of times.
We happily drove away and set up camp immediately. However, with all used models, there’s always a few glitches. These were quickly fixed at the service centre at the RV Centre with no additional cost to us.
Shopping here was a pleasurable experience for sure.

My father purchased a hot water tank for his 1990 E350. Unfortunatley, he passed away and the part sat in his office for a couple of weeks. Benda returned the part and waived the restocking fee. Thanks for beeing an honest business!

The sign in front of Sylvan Lake RV reads “CLEANEST INVENTORY AND SHARPEST PRICES IN NORTH AMERICA” and in my experience that is true. I spent a lot of time doing due diligence on buying a used coach and continuously ended up coming back to the Sylvan Lake RV inventory for the reasons stated on the sign.

My dealings were with Doug, Adam and Eric. All were excellent in their individual roles. On delivery day of the coach, Eric spent several hours with my wife and I showing and showcasing how and that every component of the coach was in good working order.
Bottom line if you are looking for a coach or associated I wouldn’t hesitate to contact these fellas. All of their inventory seems to be in good nick.
